Review of the genus Arhaphe (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Largidae) with descriptions of nine new species from Central America.

Nine new species of the genus Arhaphe Herrich-Schaeffer, 1850 are described: A. ferruginea sp. nov. from Mexico (Guerrero), A. flavoantennata sp. nov. from Costa Rica (Guanacaste Province), Honduras (Intibuca Department) and Nicaragua (Granada Province), A. hirsuta sp. nov. from Mexico (Oaxaca), A. kmenti sp. nov. from Mexico (Guanajuato, Michoacán), A. longula sp. nov. from Mexico (Guerrero), A. magna sp. nov. from Mexico (Colima), A. myrmicoides sp. nov. from Mexico (Guerrero, Nayarit), A. oaxacana sp. nov. from Mexico (Oaxaca), and A. pilifera sp. nov. from Mexico (Nayarit). The fifth instar larvae of A. arguta (Bliven, 1956), A. carolina Herrich-Schaeffer, 1850, A. cicindeloides Walker, 1873, A. flavoantennata sp. nov., A. mexicana Halstead, 1972, and A. morelensis Brailovsky & Marquez, 1974 are described. Additional state faunistic records of the already described species are provided: A. arguta (Bliven, 1956) (Mexico: Guanajuato, Sonora), A. capitata Halstead, 1972 (Costa Rica; Mexico: Chiapas, Estado de México, Guerrero, Michoacán, Oaxaca, Puebla), A. carolina Herrich-Schaeffer, 1850 (Mexico: Guanajuato, Tamaulipas), A. cicindeloides Walker, 1873 (Mexico: Hidalgo, Querétaro), A. deviatica Brailovsky, 1981 (Nicaragua), A. furcata Brailovsky, 1981 (Mexico: Michoacán), A. halsteadi Brailovsky, 1981 (Mexico: Oaxaca), A. mimetica Barber, 1911 (Mexico: Chihuahua), A. morelensis Brailovsky & Marquez, 1974 (Mexico: Estado de México, Guerrero, Puebla), and A. rustica Brailovsky, 1981 (Mexico: Morelos, Oaxaca).

Redescription of the genus Wachsiella (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Largidae: Physopeltinae) with description of male and comments on its tribal placement.

A detailed redescription (including first description of the male sex) of the genus Wachsiella Schmidt, 1931 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Largidae: Physopeltinae) and its single species, Wachsiella horsti Schmidt, 1931, is provided. The systematic placement of the genus is discussed and it is placed in the tribe Physopeltini. Wachsiella horsti is a species endemic to south Sulawesi (Indonesia), known only from specimens collected in 1895-1896 and has never been reported since.

Riegeriana, a new genus for Physopelta apicalis, and checklist of the genus Iphita (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Largidae) with description of one new species.

Riegeriana gen. nov. is described to accommodate Physopelta apicalis Walker, 1873. A lectotype of Ph. apicalis is de-signated. Iphita fasciata Stehlík & Jindra, 2008, syn. nov., is recognized as a new junior subjective synonym of Riegeriana apicalis. In addition, Iphita lata sp. nov. is described from southern India and a check-list of the species of the genus Iphita Stål, 1873 is provided. The etymology of Iphita nigris Ahmad & Abbas, 1992 and the lectotype designation of Dindymellus coimbatorensis Distant, 1919 are discussed. The following new or confirmed country records are provided: Iphita coimbatorensis (Distant, 1919) from India (Karnataka, Orissa); I. dubia (Breddin, 1901) from Indonesia (Papua); I. limbata Stål, 1870 from Cambodia, China (Hainan), India (Arunachal Pradesh), Indonesia (Sumatra, Kalimantan), Malaysia (Pahang: Tioman Island), and Vietnam; I. lycoides (Walker, 1873) from the Philippines (Panay Island). 

Schaeferiana (Gaboniella subgen. n.) incompleta sp. n. from Gabon, with notes on its relationships and new records from the Central African Republic (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Pyrrhocoridae).

A new subgenus, Gaboniellasubgen. n., of the genus Schaeferiana Stehlík, 2008, and its type species, Schaeferiana (Gaboniella) incompletasp. n. are described from Gabon. In addition the first state records of Sericocoris (Depressoculus) albomaculatus Stehlík, 2008 and Schaeferiana (Schaeferiana) mirabilis Stehlík, 2008 from the Central African Republic are provided.
