[Clinical picture, diagnostics and prophylaxis of a syndrome in conditions of the Far North].

The analysis of a clinical picture barometeosensitivity in a seaside zone of the Far North is carried out in the article. A diagnostic test included the following laboratory assessments: complete blood count, complete urinary analysis, biomedical measurement assessment, immunology blood research and functional renal test; analysis of the level of an electrolyte in the blood and hormone receptor status; and the following instrumental diagnostics: The auscultatory Korotkov's method of determining blood pressure, electrocardiography, variational pulsometry, chest X-ray, mechanocardiography, echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound; and also consultation of ophthalmologist and neuropathologist. Every patient should keep a diary "weather - health" before and after the treatment. Peculiarities of cardiovascular system, vegetative systems and neuroendocrine system of servicemen, coming to the Far North and mechanisms of development of barometeosensivity were revealed. It has been established that atmospheric pressure variation affects systolic and diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, systolic discharge, Kerdo index, effectiveness of myocardial function, end-diastolic and end-systolic volume, level of cholesterol, triglycerides, kalium, adrenalin, triiodothyronine, blood plasma and plasma renin activity in barometeosensetiv servicemen. The criteria of diagnostics of barometeosensivity in conditions of the Far North are suggested. The influence of baromemteosensivity on the combat capability of serviceman is researched.

[Prevention of the syndrome of barometeorosensitivity in the Arctic Circle].

Causes and mechanisms of barometeorosensitivity progression in servicemen, serving in the Arctic Circle, are described in this article. The authors proved conclusively the necessity of active detection of barometeorosensitive servicemen and case follow-up. The authors came to conclusion that it is necessary to include neurocirculatory asthenia into the list of medical contraindications to active service for servicemen, doing military service under contract in the Arctic Circle. Value of detected disadaptive risk factors was assessed. Prophylaxis and barometeorosensitivity control measures were suggested.

[Problem of resource supply of medical aid to wounded and damaged persons of neurosurgical profile].

Longstanding complex examination of problems of delivery of medical care to patients of neurosurgical profile, effectuating in Military-medicine academy by Kirov S.M., permitted to observe evacuation and treatment of patients of neurosurgical profile, their social rehabilitation and returning to their work, estimated the advantages of 2-stages evacuation of patients and delivery in hospitals of Center in comparison with multistage one. Were examined questions of rehabilitation, help to families of lost or invalid military servicemen. The authors, observed economical and social questions, made a conclusion: patients of neurosurgical profile have to receive medical care in specialized and equipped institutes of central level of rear of state occurring once and in full volume.

[The main approaches to economical analysis of military treatment-and-prophylactic institutions' activities].

In conditions of market economy the improvement of quality and competitiveness of services rendered in order to obtain the maximal economical results (profit) from their realization is one of the strategic tasks of any military treatment-and-prophylactic institution. That's why the main purpose of economical analysis of military institutions' treatment-and-economic activities is the search of inner reserves and choice of directions for best investments.
