[Serum and mandible alterations of antibiotics levels under increased serum FFA]. / Metaboles tes stathmes antibiotikin parousia ayxemenou epipedou eleutheron liparon oxeon tou orou sta osta tes kato gnathou kai sto aima epimyon.

The levels of three antibiotics (Cefapirin, Doxycycline, Gentamicin) were studied in an experimental model (swimming stress) with elevated serum FFA. Sixty Wistar rats were in three groups used divided. Each group consisted of 3 subgroups. The subgroups A and B were submitted in swimming stress procedure for 10 and 20 days. The subgroup C was the control group. Since stress increases the FFA the concentration of antibiotics in blood and bone are influenced. According to the estimation of the result the following were observed: 1) Increase of FFA in stress groups 2) Weight increase of adrenals in stress groups which means that the stress procedure was effective 3) Increase of cefapirin level 4) Increase of doxycyclin 5) Increase of gentamicin 6) Increase of haematocrite.

[Immunological state of reaction and healing of osteotomy (author's transl)]. / Immunologische Reaktionslage und Osteotomieheilung.

The influence of immune reaction on rats - achieved through C. F. A. - on the healing of incomplete osteotomy of the femur was experimentally examined. It was found that the production of immune reaction, manifested by the appearance of polyarthritis, leads in a great percentage (60% of the animals) in extensive bone destruction in the vicinity of the osteotomy. The results were examined clinically, radiologically and histologically. The type of reacton in the area of bone destruction was of immunological origin (histological examination).
