Laboratory investigation of the 1963 influenza epidemic in Jamaica, West Indies

An epidemic of influenza due to type A2 virus occurred in Jamaica during the early months of 1963. Cases were reported from all the parishes with highest incidence in Westmoreland, Clarendon, St. Ann and St. Mary.
