RESUMO
Different variants of omentoduodeno- and omentogastroplasty were applied in 69 patients during performance of gastric resection, perforative ulcer excision for the peritonitis dissemination prophylaxis. In 18 patients was used the polychlorvinyl drain, newly constructed by the authors. In 124 patients gastric resection according to Haberer with an oblique gastroduodenoanastomosis formation, the Treitz ligament dissection and duodenojejunal flexure descending were performed for the peritonitis dissemination prophylaxis.

Results of the surgical treatment of various kinds of incarcerated hernias during the 17-years period were analyzed. A great amount of patients aged more than 60 (51.7%) were admitted to the hospital not earlier than 24 hours after the appearance of the disease. Complex treatment of patients with incarcerated hernia gave less amount of postoperative complications and lethality as well as shorter periods of staying at the hospital.
