RESUMO

The self-consistent relaxation theory is employed to describe the collective ion dynamics in strongly coupled Yukawa classical one-component plasmas. The theory is applied to equilibrium states corresponding to intermediate screening regimes with appropriate values of the structure and coupling parameters. The information about the structure (the radial distribution function and the static structure factor) and the thermodynamics of the system are sufficient to describe collective dynamics over a wide range of spatial scales, namely, from the extended hydrodynamic to the microscopic dynamics scale. The main experimentally measurable characteristics of the equilibrium collective dynamics of ions-the spectrum of the dynamic structure factor, the dispersion parameters, the speed of sound, and the sound attenuation-are determined within the framework of the theory without using any adjustable parameters. The results demonstrate agreement with molecular dynamics simulations. Thus a direct realization is presented of the key idea of statistical mechanics: for the theoretical description of the collective particle dynamics in equilibrium fluids it is sufficient to know the interparticle interaction potential and the structural characteristics. Comparison with alternative or complementary theoretical approaches is provided.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: Introduction: The existence of the noosphere as a sphere of mind influences human life processes, particularly their physical and mental health, directly. That is why a need arises to consider the biosphere development in the context of the "boom" of scientific thought and noosphere with its processes affecting human health. The aim: The research purpose is to reveal the influence of noospheric processes on human health, in particular the information flow effects on human morphofunctional state expressed as chronic fatigue. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: A complex of study methods was used in the research: general scientific (analysis, synthesis, comparison, correlation, systematization, generalization) and empirical (observation, conversation, questionnaire). The research was conducted within the framework of "Axia" international project (Innovation in Education). For the stated research purpose achievement subjective state diagnostic technique of "WAM" as used, intended for the qualitative subjective evaluation of three main functional psycho-emotional human states: well-being, activity and mood. Respondents of three age groups were involved in the research, 347 people in each group. The first group included the responders aged 14 to 19; the second group included the responders aged 19 to 35; the third group consisted of the respondents aged 35 to 60. RESULTS: Results: The research results confirmed that the noospheric processes are followed by the acceleration of human life pace, information pressure causing the development of human mental fatigue, energy depletion, tiredness and chronic fatigue. The results of empirical studies of the influence of the noospheric processes anthropoprice on the human well-being, activity and mood showed the dependence of the positive integral estimation of human subjective state on the orientation towards life-long learning, personal values regardless of the age. CONCLUSION: Conclusion: The proposed article reveals the influence of noospheric processes on human morphofunctional state, scientifically grounds the connection and dependence of human tiredness on the noospheric processes anthropoprice.

RESUMO

The article is concerned with hybrid amorphous polymers synthesized basing on epoxy oligomer of diglycide aliphatic ester of polyethylene glycol that was cured by polyethylene polyamine and lithium perchlorate salt. Structural peculiarities of organic-inorganic polymer composites were studied by differential scanning calorimetry, wide-angle X-ray spectra, infrared spectroscopic, scanning electron microscopy, elemental analysis, and transmission and reflective optical microscopy. On the one hand, the results showed that the introduction of LiClO4 salt into epoxy polymer leads to formation of the coordinative metal-polymer complexes of donor-acceptor type between central Li+ ion and ligand. On the other hand, the appearance of amorphous microinclusions, probably of inorganic nature, was also found.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Juvenile myasthenia gravis (JMG) is the rare form of myasthenia gravis presenting in childhood and adolescence. When medical management fails, thymectomy is offered for these patients. Complete resection of the thymus is best achieved through transsternal thymectomy. Anesthetic management of patients with JMG is challenging, particularly in regards to the goals of postoperative pain control, respiratory function, and extubation. METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 13 patients, ranging in age from 6 to 22 years, who underwent transsternal thymectomy for JMG. Information on patient demographics, characteristics of their disease and treatment, anesthetic management, and postoperative course were collected. RESULTS: All patients had undergone multiple treatment modalities and presented for surgery because of inadequate symptom control with medical management. As expected for a pediatric population, anesthesia induction was age dependent. 40% of the patients underwent an inhalation induction and 60% underwent an intravenous induction. Anesthesia was maintained with a low-dose inhalation agent in all patients, supplemented in 84% of patients with a remifentanil infusion, and in 69% of patients with an epidural infusion. Muscle relaxants were avoided in all patients. With this regimen, 92% of patients could be extubated successfully in the operating room. CONCLUSION: We found that avoidance of muscle relaxants and use of remifentanil with a low-dose hypnotic agent provided a stable intraoperative course, facilitated rapid emergence, and allowed early extubation in patients with JMG undergoing transsternal thymectomy. Epidural analgesia reduced the need for intra- and postoperative intravenous opioids and did not have an adverse effect on respiratory strength.

RESUMO

A method for beam shaping based on fitting the power moments of the final beam intensity distribution and independent of the optical system particularities is suggested. It is shown how one can analytically calculate any moment of the final phase space distribution using the moments of the initial distribution and the optical system transfer map. Numerical tests carried out for a final focus system have demonstrated the usefulness of the approach developed here.
