RESUMO

Data from literature as well as the authors' experimental data on the mechanism of the effect of probiotics from aerobic sporeforming bacteria have been first generalized. The authors made a conclusion that the effect of biopreparations from bacilli is the multifactor process, when bacilli get to the gastrointestinal tract they begin producing biologically active substances which make the immediate effect on pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms as well as activate specific and nonspecific systems of the macroorganism protection. The unknown before phenomenon of bacteria translocation is analyzed in detail as one of the most important factors of activation of non-specific resistance of the macroorganisms. Aerobic sporeforming bacteria produce a number of enzymes, amino acids, antibiotic substances and other biologically active substrates which add to the complex treatment-prophylactic effect of biopreparations from these bacteria. Prospects of the use of probiotics based on aerobic sporeforming bacteria in medicine and veterinary are considered. It is emphasized, in particular, that the potential multifactor character of the treatment-prophylactic efficiency of biological preparations from Bacillus is of positive value, since no negative effects are evoked by the known mechanisms of specific effect of aerobic sporeforming bacteria. This opens wide potentialities for improving the schemes and methods of application of probiotics from bacilli, creation of new forms of drugs on their base as well as to combine them with other preparations.

RESUMO

Results of treatment of gastric cancer with using preoperative superselective intraarterial polychemotherapy are described. The method was used in 57 patients with gastric cancer of the III-IV degrees and was followed by radical surgical treatment. The use of chemotherapy and operation resulted in complete destruction of the tumor in 63.8% of cases, partial regression in 19.2%. An inconsiderable effect was obtained in 17.0%. One-year survival was noted in 100% of the patients.

RESUMO

A study of 70 patients with polyps and polyposis of the stomach indicates that the use of microwave electromagnetic radiation of low intensity associated with polypectomy increases significantly the treatment and improves the immediate and long-term results. Microwave resonance therapy possesses a regulating action, normalizing the bioenergy of blood cells and restoring the content of T-lymphocytes.

RESUMO

In patients with gastric cancer, depending on location of a tumor, the left gastric or right gastroepiploic artery was catheterized via a puncture of the femoral artery, the course of polychemotherapy with fluorouracil and adriablastin was carried out, then the operative treatment was performed. In 62.4% of the patients, the complete, in 18.8%--the partial destruction of a tumor was achieved, in 18.8%, the effect was insignificant.

RESUMO

The results of clinical and experimental studies with corynebacteria stimulation of antitumour resistance are described. It is shown that antitumour effect depends on the mode, dose and period of corynebacteria administration as well as on the stage of the tumour process. The mode of corynebacteria action is under discussion. There are doubts as to expediency of such a method of nonspecific immunotherapy of malignant tumours.

RESUMO

As a result of the study of immunological status of 49 patients with gastric polyps, the levels of T- and b-lymphocytes in blood were found to be decreased. Dysimmunoglobulinemias were caused by abnormal levels of one, two ro even three immunoglobulins (M, G and A). Skin reaction of time-delayed hypersensitivity was reduced. It is suggested that immune disorders in gastric polyps may provide a source of their malignancy.
