RESUMO
A new surgical plating system that allows for temporary fixation of the plate onto bone while maintaining fracture reduction during screw delivery is presented. The primary advantage of this system is that the use of bone clamps can be avoided, which may decrease the amount of soft-tissue exposure. The technique, clinical applications, and mechanical properties are discussed, and a representative case example is presented.
