[The results of correcting venous insufficiency and disorders of the peripheral lymph circulation in postthrombotic disease]. / Rezul'taty korrektsii venoznoi nedostatochnosti i narushenii perifericheskogo limfoobrashcheniia pri posttromboticheskoi bolezni.

Isolated correction of venous component of chronic lymph-venous insufficiency by a way of dressing of perforated veins, extravasated correction of valves of deep veins and femoral cross shunting (24 patients of control group), and also combined correction, supposing the same operations in combination with creation lymph-venous anastomosis (22 patients of main groups) at infringement of peripheric flow of lymph and venous insufficiency in patients with edematous form of posttraumatic diseases have been carried. The complex estimation of efficiency of operative treatment on subjective and objective attributes of illness is offered. Direct and remote postoperative results proved to be more preferable in main group.

[The surgical treatment of Dupuytren's contracture]. / O khirurgicheskom lechenii kontraktury Diupiuitrena.

Treatment of 129 patients with palmar fibromatosis was performed; all the men were from 20 to 63 years old. In 56 patients (1st main group) operation of aponeurectomy was performed with the help of an ultrasonic scalpel (USS), in 53 patients (2nd main group) the operation was made with the help of the microsurgical technique (MST), 30 patients (a control group) were operated upon by usual methods. The use of USS and MST were followed by excellent (92.6%), good (2.1%) and satisfactory (5.3%) long-term results.

An analysis of the course of the postoperative period has shown that continuous mesenterial retroperitoneal novokain blockade is considerably more effective than medicamentous methods of prophylactics and treatment of postoperative paresis of the intestine, it has a good anesthetizing effect. When using the blockade the intestine function was completely reestablished in 111 (92.5%) patients operated upon.

[Surgical treatment of herniation of lumbar intervertebral disks]. / O khirurgicheskom lechenii gryzh poiasnichnykh diskov.

An analysis of outcomes of treatment of 288 patients has shown that using the microsurgical technique when removing hernias of lumbar disks allows to perform more sharing manipulations with the roots, vessels and disk, gives favorable results of treatment. Good outcomes were obtained in 68 patients, satisfactory--in 12 patients, bad--in 2 patients. The period of the intrahospital treatment became shorter.

[Therapeutic endoscopy in the complex treatment of patients with chronic gastroduodenal ulcer]. / Lechebnaia éndoskopiia v kompleksnoi terapii bol'nykh s khronicheskoi gastroduodenal'noi iazvoi.

Under the ambulatory treatment there were 300 patients: 120 of them had gastric ulcers and 180 had ulcers of the duodenum. The immediate and long-term results of the treatment were followed-up in 243 patients. The analysis has shown that Solcoseryl and film-forming glue "Statizol" included in the complex of general therapy of chronic ulcers of the stomach and duodenum by means of a local application (through the endoscope) made the average terms of healing 2 times shorter as compared with the routine treatment of ulcers and considerably reduced recidivation of the disease (in the main group recurrences took place in 19-10%, in the control group--in 36-42.4% of the cases). Most effective was the complex treatment including the application of Solcoseryl and film-forming glue "Statizol" simultaneously.

[Contrast methods of study in the diagnosis and treatment of hernias of the lumbar disks]. / Kontrastnye metody issledovaniia pri diagnostike i lechenii gryzh poiasnichnykh diskov.

Under examination and treatment there were 154 patients with lumbar osteochondrosis. In diagnosing the diseases contrast methods were used: pneumomyelography in 70 patients, peridurography in 114 patients, discography in 30 patients. Surgical treatment was used in 105 patients. An analysis has shown the contrast methods of x-ray examination in hernias of lumbar disks to establish more exact levels of localization of the process which facilitates determination of a rational operative access. Discography was shown to be the most valuable and reliable method of diagnosis of the disease.

[Use of Statizol film-forming glue for treating gastric and duodenal ulcers]. / Primenenie plenkoobrazuiushchego kleia "Statizol'" pri lechenii iazv zheludka i dvenadtsatiperstnoi kishki.

Patients with chronic gastroduodenal ulcers (210) and gastric ulcers (256) were treated in the out-patient clinic. The ulcerous defect of the mucous membrane was covered by the aerosolic film-making glue "Statizol" through a fibroendoscope (about 10 applications of the drug). The method was used in 110 patients after polypectomy in addition to the routine therapeutic treatment given to all the patients. The application of the film-making glue "Statizol" in the complex therapy of peptic ulcers was shown to shorten the period of healing the ulcerous defects, to give less amount of recurrent ulcer diseases (not more than 14.5%) and to be a prophylactic measure against bleedings after polypectomy.

[Use of propolis in the treatment of local suppurative infection]. / Primenenie propolisa pri lechenii mestnoi gnoinoi infektsii.

Experience with the treatment of 460 patients with panaritium, abscesses, phlegmons, infectious wounds have shown that propolis is an expedient remedy (in additional to the the routine treatment). They have shown the stimulating, antiinflammatory and anti-microbial action of propolis.

[Treatment of nonpenetrating injuries of scrotal organs]. / Lechenie zakrytykh povrezhdenii organov moshonki.

Under observation were 106 patients with closed injuries of the scrotum and organs in it. The conservative treatment was used in 24 patients, 82 patients (77,3%) were subjected to operations. Different injuries of testicles, epididymis or tunics of the testicles were observed. The operative treatment allows making reliable diagnosis of injuries of the testicle and its epididymis, gives favourable results and considerably accelerates the healing of the patients.

[Treatment of injuries of the menisci and ligaments of the knee joint]. / O lechenii povrezhdenii meniskov i sviazok kolennogo sustava.

Under observation were 288 patients with different internal injuries of the popliteal articulation. Isolated and associated injuries of the internal meniscus were found in 229 patients (79,5%). Operations were performed in 274 patients. The remote results were found to be good in 223 patients (77,4%), satisfactory--in 53 people (18,4%). Bad results were found in 12 patients (4,2%).
