RESUMO
In the title compound, C18H12O2, the benzene rings are inclined to one another by 66.79â (7)°. The five-membered ring is almost planar with a maximum deviation of 0.014â (1)â Å. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked by pairs of weak C-Hâ¯O interactions into centrosymmetric dimers. These dimers are linked by C-Hâ¯π interactions, forming a three-dimensional structure.
RESUMO
In the title compound, C24H18S, the dihedral angles between the phenyl ring and the two benzene rings of the anthracene moiety are 51.92â (9) and 68.24â (9)°, whereas the dihedral angle between the two anthracene benzene rings is 120.13â (9)°. The three non-aromatic six-membered rings are in boat conformations, while the five-membered ring has an envelope conformation on the S atom. In the crystal, there are three C-Hâ¯π inter-actions, which facilitate the packing of the mol-ecules.
RESUMO
Two triaryl-3(2H)-furanones were synthesized and their antitumor activity was evaluated. These compounds inhibited the proliferation of DLA cell line in vitro. In vivo studies also showed that these compounds were active against tumor cell proliferation.

The title molecule, C(13)H(13)N(3)O(3).H(2)O, is in the form of a monohydrated zwitterion. The tetrahydropyridinium ring adopts an envelope conformation and is nearly coplanar with the plane of the imidazoline ring. The water solvate molecule plays an important role as a bridge between zwitterions, forming molecular chains running along the c direction, which are interconnected by N-H.O hydrogen bonds into molecular ribbons. The crystal packing is further stabilized by another N-H.O and one O-H.N hydrogen bond, which interconnect the molecular ribbons.
