[Intravesical electrostimulation and magnetophoresis in overactive bladder in females: efficacy of Amus-01-Intramag device with Intrastim attachment].

High-frequency intravesical electroneurostimulation was made simultaneously with magnetophoresis of the mixture based on oxibutinin. Compared to effects of oral intake of oxibutinin, such method was two times more effective in relation to overactive bladder symptoms relief in shorter duration of the treatment and reduced side effects. Laser Doppler flowmetry discovered that the above combined treatment corrects microcirculation in bladder mucosa.

[Efficacy of vibrothermomagnetic impact on the perineum from the device Avim-1 in the treatment of chronic abacterial prostatitis patients with chronic pelvic pain syndrome].

Combined treatment of patients with chronic abacterial prostatitis and chronic pelvic pain syndrome including vibrothermomagnetic impacts on the perineum from the device AVIM-1 proved effective in relation to all aspects of the disease pathogenesis. The comfort and simple conduction of the procedures make the device use perspective not only in the treatment but also for prophylaxis of exacerbations.

[Correction of local and central disorders in patients with chronic abacterial prostatitis in usage of amus-01-intramag unit].

Combined use of dynamic magnetotherapy of local and central action in combination with antibacterial endourethral therapy and rectal administration of vitaprost arrests symptoms of chronic prostatitis. Combination of local and total dynamic magnetotherapy with application of AMUS-01-INTRAMAG unit improves erection quality in 81.8% males with psychogenic form of erectile dysfunction. There was also improvement of spermogram parameters and relieve of asthenovegetative syndrome.

292 symptomless males aged 50-85 years were examined for blood prostate-specific antigen (PSA) for early diagnosis of prostatic cancer. Males with total PSA (TPSA) higher than age-specific standard underwent free PSA (FPSA) assay to estimate FPSA/TPSA and transperineal biopsy of the prostate. TPSA ranged from 0.3 to 112.0 ng/ml and exceeded the age standard in 102 examinees (35%). Prognostically unfavorable FPSA/TPSA (under 15%) was registered in 17(5.8%) examinees. Biopsy of the prostate has revealed cancer in 7 of them. Among those whose TPSA was above the standard, but FPSA/TPSA > 15%, morphologically verified prostatic cancer was detected in 5 males. It is thought valid to include the method of PSA fractions estimation in the program of screening for males at risk to develop prostatic cancer as it is simple, cost effective and highly informative.
