RESUMO
Intraoperative ultrasonic investigation is a noninvasive high-informative method permitting to solve the tasks of differential diagnosis during the operation for nephrolithiasis, polycystosis and renal neoplasms. Exact adherence to the methods permitted to reveal renal concrements (regardless of their chemical composition), to differentiate papillar tumors of the renal pelvis from X-ray-negative concrements, to detect intraorganic cysts in patients with renal polycystosis, to diagnose renal tumors and their borders with healthy parenchyma. The study could be performed as many times as the operative situation required and permitted a rational operative supply. Broad-scale implementation of the method was found to be mandatory as it could be of good use in practical medicine.
