RESUMO
This study was performed in the Honorio Delgado Hospital (Arequipa) in an attempt to evaluate the Epidural Anesthesia as an alternative technique in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies. The anesthetic agent used was 2% Lidocaine and the site of punction chosen was the space between D8-D9 associated to a combination of Fentanyl and Midazolam (IV). An adequate respiratory and hemodynamic response was obtained. Epidural anesthesia is a succesful technique and an attractive alternative which offers very good surgical conditions and transoperative comfort during the Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies.
