RESUMO

Changes in the fatty acid composition of sweat lipid were studied in persons whose activity was associated with military service. There were significant changes in essential fatty acids of sweat lipids, which made it possible to use this noninvasive biological object as a criterion for rating dysadaptive processes in armed forces personnel.

RESUMO

The principal techniques are systematized and implemented in examination of the visual analyser's functions in the professional aircrew. New techniques such as, for instance, visocontranstoperimetry are presented. The need for an investigation to be conducted on frequency-contrast sensitivity of the eyes is emphasized, as is continuity of methods for examination of flying personnel, beginning from troop section and ending with specialized aircraft medical centre. The authors make practical recommendations on activation and rehabilitation of the degraded visual functions in flying personnel (<> of accommodation, optico-distant blurring/obscuring, accomodoconvergentraining, autotraining of external ocular muscles and some other nontraditonal methods, prophylactic treatment with biostimulators and drug preparations aimed at improvement of metabolic processes in the visual analyzer structures, and some others).

RESUMO

It is shown in the paper that sanitary and rehabilitative measures (graded physical exercise, saunas, manual massage with the elements of biodynamic correction of the spinal column, relaxation exercises in the framework of remedial gymnastics, electrotranquilization of the central nervous system, psychosomatic self-regulation, functional music, video programmes, self-massage of biologically active points, specific diet) taken under conditions of drill by command of the flying personnel, tend to lead to lowering of the general morbidity rate (by a factor of 1.7), work losses (by a factor of 1.8), probability of occurring of iatrogenic diseases (by a factor of 1.6), thereby promoting rise in the level of functional efficiency of the pilot and safety of flights.
