RESUMO
Hay hombres que por su vida y obra trascienden la línea del tiempo manteniendo su vigencia por su certera visión, sus ideales y profundo pensamiento. El objetivo fue ejemplificar la vigencia del pensamiento de Bolívar y Martí en el contexto de la integración latinoamericana actual. Fueron empleados métodos teóricos como la revisión documental, el análisis y síntesis, método deductivo e inductivo, el hipotético deductivo y el histórico lógico. Bolívar, Martí. Padre e hijo, maestro y discípulo, ¿No estará en la historia de estos dos gigantes la clave para entender la historia de América y para descubrir el camino futuro de nuestra Patria Grande?. Creo que si, que solo situándolos juntos colocándolos en el lugar que les corresponde, unidos podremos comprender nuestros deberes de hoy y las rutas que nos abra elprovenir. En esta época de crisis donde los pueblos requieren fórmulas que les permitan hacer perdurable la vida en el planeta, el pensamiento revolucionario de hombres como Simón Bolívar y José Martí aseguran los proyectos sociales y políticos que emergen y se consolidan en la región, indispensable alternativa para salvar a la humanidad(AU)
There are men that transcend time through their life and work, keeping their spirit alive due to their accurate vision, their ideals and deep thinking. The objective was to exemplify the validity of Marti and Bolivar´s thinking, in the context of the present Latin-American integration. Theoretical methods such as document revision, analysis and synthesis, deductive andinductive, hypothetical-deductive and logic-historical methods were used. Bolivar and Marti. Father and son, master and pupil. Is it not in the history of these two giants the key to understand America´s history, and figure out the way that lies aheadof our Great Homeland? I think that only by putting them together in their rightful place, will we be able to understand our duties today and the way that is yet to come. In this time of crisis when people all over the world require alternatives to endure their life in the planet, the revolutionary thinking of Simon Bolivar and Jose Marti assures the social and political projects that emerge and take root in the Latin-American region(AU)
