[Treatment of patients with lumbar osteochondrosis by the method of intra-tissular electric stimulation]. / Lechenie bol'nykh s poiasnichnym osteokhondrozom metodom vnutritkanevoi élektrostimuliatsii.

The authors proposed the method of treatment of pain syndromes in case of the spine osteochondrosis--intratissular electrostimulation, consisting in application of electric current to the damaged vertebra by means of a needle-electrode. To determine the efficiency of the proposed method 2 groups of patients (140 persons) were treated by the traditional complex method and intratissular electrostimulation of the spine. The efficiency of the new method as compared with the other ones has been proven by means of complex investigation of the spine biomechanic and the state of muscles in dynamics.

[Comparative evaluation of methods of fixation of metacarpal bone fragments]. / Sravnitel'naia otsenka sposobov fiksatsii otlomkov piastnykh kostei.

The authors have carried out an experimental study of stability of the bone fragments of the 2-5th metacarpal bones in various hypes of fixation of the hands of fresh human cadavers. It has been established that the highest stability in all kinds of fractures in the conditions of functional loading is provided by osteosynthesis with rod apparatnses. A differential approach concerning the choice of the hype of osteosynthesis depending on the fracture plane is necessary in the treatment of the metacarpal bone injuries. An early functional loading of the fingers should be made with regard to the plane and the type of osteosynthesis.

[A study of C-reactive protein in the diagnosis of Dupuytren's contracture]. / Issledovanie C-reaktivnogo belka v diagnostike kontraktury Diupiuitrena.

Measurements of C-reactive protein (CRP) in patients with Dupuytren's contraction have confirmed that such measurements may help objective the contraindications to surgery and specify the scope of intervention. CRP levels increase parallel with the flexion contracture augmentation and depend on the clinical form of the disease.
