RESUMO

Antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB) are a serious threat to the health of people and the ecological environment. With this problem becoming more and more serious, more countries made research on the ARB, and the research number has been sharply increased particularly over the past decade. Therefore, it is quite necessary to globally retrace relevant researches on the ARB published from 2010 to 2020. This will help researchers to understand the current research situation, research trends and research hotspots in this field. This paper uses bibliometrics to examine publications in the field of ARB from 2010 to 2020 that were retrieved from the Web of Science (WOS). Our study performed a statistical analysis of the countries, institutions, journals, authors, research areas, author keywords, Essential Science Indicators (ESI) highly cited papers, and ESI hotspots papers to provide an overview of the ARB field as well as research trends, research hotspots, and future research directions in the field. The results showed that the number of related studies is increasing year by year; the USA is most published in the field of ARB; China is the most active in this field in the recent years; the Chinese Acad Sci published the most articles; Sci. Total Environ. published the greatest number of articles; CM Manaia has the most contributions; Environmental Sciences and Ecology is the most popular research area; and "antibiotic resistance," "antibiotics," and "antibiotic resistance genes" were the most frequently occurring author keywords. A citation analysis showed that aquatic environment-related antibiotic resistance is a key research area in this field, while antimicrobial nanomaterial-related research is a recent popular topic.

RESUMO

Eosinophilic fasciitis (EF) is a rare connective tissue disease characterized by increased peripheral blood eosinophils and diffuse fasciitis, generalized morphea (GM) is a subtype of localized scleroderma, and IgA nephropathy is a chronic glomerulonephritis caused by abnormal deposition of IgA in the mesangial area of the glomeruli. We describe a 49-year-old male patient with hard skin, cutaneous hyperpigmentation, and proteinuria. The patient had suffered from a long disease course of hard skin, while urine protein was newly detected. Finally, the clinical presentation and physical examination, limb MRI, skin biopsy, and renal biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of eosinophilic fasciitis associated with generalized morphea and IgA nephropathy. This case is the first report of EF associated with GM and IgA nephropathy.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: In recent years, metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC) and studies related to MCRPC have drawn global attention. The main objective of this bibliometric study was to provide an overview of MCRPC, explore clusters and trends in research and investigate the future direction of MCRPC research. METHODS: A total of 4089 publications published between 1979 and 2018 were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database. Different aspects of MCRPC research, including the countries/territories, institutions, journals, authors, research areas, funding agencies and author keywords, were analyzed. RESULTS: The number of annual MCRPC publications increased rapidly after 2010. American researchers played a vital role in this increase, as they published the most publications. The most productive institution was Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. De Bono, JS (the United Kingdom [UK]) and Scher, HI (the United States of America [USA]) were the two most productive authors. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded the largest number of published papers. Analyses of keywords suggested that therapies (abiraterone, enzalutamide, etc.) would attract global attention after US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval. CONCLUSIONS: Developed countries, especially the USA, were the leading nations for MCRPC research because of their abundant funding and frequent international collaborations. Therapy was one of the most vital aspects of MCRPC research. Therapies targeting DNA repair or the androgen receptor (AR) signing pathway and new therapies especially prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-based radioligand therapy (RLT) would be the next focus of MCRPC research.

RESUMO

Since the first robotic exoskeleton was developed in 1960, this research field has attracted much interest from both the academic and industrial communities resulting in scientific publications, prototype developments and commercialized products. In this article, to document the progress in and current status of this field, we performed a bibliometric analysis. This analysis evaluated the publications in the field of robotic exoskeletons from 1990 to July 2019 that were retrieved from the Science Citation Index Expanded database. The bibliometric analyses were presented in terms of author keywords, year, country, institution, journal, author, and the citation. Results show that currently the United States has taken the leading position in this field and has built the largest collaborative network with other countries. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) made the greatest contribution to the field of robotic exoskeleton investigations in terms of the number of publications, average citations per publication and the h-index. In addition, the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation ranks first among the top 20 academic journals in terms of the number of publications related to robotic exoskeletons during the period investigated. Author keyword analysis indicates that most research has focused on rehabilitation robotics. Biomedical engineering, rehabilitation and the neurosciences are the most common disciplines conducting research in this area according to the Web of Science (WoS). Our study comprehensively assesses the current research status and collaboration network of robotic exoskeletons, thus helping researchers steer their projects or locate potential collaborators.

RESUMO

AIMS: To investigate the usefulness of carotid contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in assessment of disease activity in patients with Takayasu arteritis (TA). METHODS AND RESULTS: After screening 219 CEUS records from 124 consecutive patients followed at our clinic between October 2014 and May 2018, data were analysed from 159 carotid CEUS from 86 patients diagnosed with Type I TA. Patients were categorized based on disease activity according to National Institutes of Health criteria into two groups: active disease group (92 CEUS) and non-active disease group (67 CEUS). The enhanced intensity of carotid artery wall: (i) was higher in active disease group than in non-active disease group (3.09 ± 1.67 dB vs. 1.44 ± 1.29 dB, P < 0.0001, respectively); and (ii) had a high predictive value for TA disease activity with area under the curve (AUC) of 86.3% [95% confidence interval (CI) 79.7-92.9], sensitivity of 88.0%, and specificity of 79.1%. The latter AUC was not significantly affected (P > 0.05) when erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein level, or arterial wall thickness were added to assessment of disease activity in TA. CONCLUSION: Carotid vascularization by CEUS, as sole inflammatory marker, had a high predictive value for disease activity in Type I TA.

RESUMO

Soft robotics is of growing interest in the robot community as well as in public media, and there is an increase in the quality and quantity of publications related to this topic. To formally elaborate this growth, we have used a bibliometric analysis to evaluate the publications in the field from 1990 to 2017 based on the Science Citation Index Expanded database. We present a detailed overview and discussion based on keywords, citation, h-index, year, journal, institution, country, author, and review articles. The results show that the United States takes the leading position in this research field, followed by China and Italy. Harvard University has the most publications, high average number of citations per publication and the highest h-index. IEEE Transactions on Robotics ranks first among the top 20 academic journals publishing articles related to this field, whereas Soft Robotics holds the top position in journals categorized with "ROBOTICS." Actuator, fabrication, control, material, sensing, simulation, bionics, stiffness, modeling, power, motion, and application are the hot topics of soft robotics. Smart materials, bionics, morphological computation, and embodiment control are expected to contribute to this field in the future. RESUMO

In the molecule of the title compound, [Cu(NO(3))(2)(C(6)H(6)ClN)(2)], the Cu atom lies on an inversion centre and is six-coordinated by two pyridine N atoms and four nitrate O atoms in trans positions. The nitrate acts as an unsymmetrical bidentate ligand. The coordination geometry is octahedral, with the Cu-N and the two Cu-O distances being 1.9939 (16), 2.0246 (16) and 2.4866 (19) A, respectively. There are five types of C-H.O hydrogen bonds. Two of these generate two-dimensional molecular networks in the direction of the a axis, and the others connect adjacent molecular networks.
