RESUMO

We report here that polysubstituted cyclopent-2-enols can be constructed by the one-pot reaction of doubly activated cyclopropanes and α-EWG substituted acetonitriles under mild basic conditions via a domino-ring-opening-cyclization/deacylation/oxidation sequence. Moreover, the synthetic applications of these cyclopent-2-enols have been demonstrated in the late-stage derivatization into functionalized cyclopentapyrimidin-4-ones and 2-hydroxy cyclopentanones with good yields.

RESUMO

We report here that a series of bridged O,O-ketal fused spiro piperidone-cyclopropane derivatives 3 can be constructed with excellent yields and good diastereoselectivity by the one-pot reaction of 1-acylcyclopropanecarboxamides 1 with electron-deficient alkene 2a (EWG = CHO) via the domino process involving [4 + 2] annulation/intermolecular electrophilic addition/intramolecular cyclization. Furthermore, reactions of 1 with 2b/2c (EWG = CN, COOMe), leading to spiro piperidone-cyclopropane derivatives 4 or 5 by base catalyst selection, were also presented.

RESUMO

A novel asymmetric catalytic (2+3) annulation of p-quinone methides with CN-substituted trimethylenemethane is described under palladium catalysis, providing an alternative approach for the enantioselective construction of highly functionalized chiral spirocyclopentyl p-dienones. Driven by the significant improvement in the reactivity and enantioselectivity, a novel type of non-C2-symmetric phosphoramidite ligand from the chirality-matched combination of (S)-BINOL and sterically demanding amine derived from l-hydroxyproline is evolved and explored for the protocol presented here.

RESUMO

The SOD and POD enzyme activities were detected, ginseng saponin content and protein concentration at 4 ℃ preservation on fresh ginseng by different substrates were determined. The results showed that the appearance of the ginseng and the survival ability were good after six months by perlite preservation. It has lower SOD, POD enzyme activity and higher saponins and protein contention. It is the best fresh storing conditions for ginseng by using perlite at 4 ℃ preservation.

RESUMO

The first total syntheses of Lycopodium alkaloids palhinine A, palhinine D, and their C3-epimers have been divergently achieved through the use of a connective transform to access a pivotal hexacyclic isoxazolidine precursor. A microwave-assisted regio- and stereoselective intramolecular nitrone-alkene cycloaddition was tactically orchestrated as a key step to install the crucial 10-oxa-1-azabicyclo[5.2.1]decane moiety embedded in the conformationally rigid isotwistane framework, demonstrating the feasibility of constructing the highly strained medium-sized ring by introduction of an oxygen bridging linker to relieve the transannular strain in the polycyclic scaffold. Subsequent N-O bond cleavage provided the synthetically challenging nine-membered azonane ring system bearing the requisite C3 hydroxyl group. Late-stage transformations featuring a chemo- and stereoselective reduction of the pentacyclic ß-diketone secured the availability of our target molecules.

RESUMO

Brain plasticity is very sensitive to the environment. Certain neurotrophic factors and neurotransmitter receptors, including brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), cyclic adenosine monophosphate response elementbinding protein (CREB), stromal cellderived factor1 (SDF1) and its specific receptor, C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4), are important in neurogenesis in adult animals. In the present study, the effects of environmental enrichment (EE) on neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus (DG) and subventricular zone (SVZ), and the protein expression levels of BDNF, CREB, SDF1 and CXCR4 were investigated. Adult rats were randomly assigned as controls or underwent EE for 30 days. Subsequently, immunofluorescence staining was used to analyze cell proliferation in the DG and SVZ, and the differentiation and survival of newlyformed cells in the hippocampus. The protein expression levels of BDNF, phosphorylated CREB (pCREB), protein kinase A catalytic subunit α, SDF1 and CXCR4 in the hippocampus were assayed by western blotting. Cognitive function was assessed in a Morris water maze. EE improved cognitive function, and increased the proliferation, differentiation and survival of newlyformed neurons in the DG of adult rats; however, EE did not activate neurogenesis in the SVZ. Furthermore, EE enhanced the protein expression levels of BDNF, pCREB, SDF-1 and CXCR4 in the hippocampus. These results provide a theoretical basis to explain the beneficial effects of EE on healthy, adult rats.
