A pair of isomers, IDT-BOF containing S⋅⋅⋅O/F⋅⋅⋅H noncovalently configurational locks and IDT-BFO containing F⋅⋅⋅H/O⋅⋅⋅H noncovalently configurational locks, with an acceptor-π-donor-π-acceptor (A-π-D-π-A) structure have been designed and synthesized by choosing 4,9-dihydro-s-indaceno[1,2-b : 5,6-b']dithiophene (IDT) as the D unit, an F/n-hexyloxy substituted phenyl ring as π bridge, and 3-(dicyanomethylidene)indan-1-one as the A unit. Owing to the S⋅⋅⋅O/F⋅⋅⋅H or F⋅⋅⋅H/O⋅⋅⋅H noncovalently configurational locks, both IDT-BOF and IDT-BFO have a completely planar structure. IDT-BOF exhibits a similar LUMO to IDT-BFO, but higher HOMO energy levels, leading to a smaller optical bandgap and red-shifted absorption. However, IDT-BOF-based bulk-heterojunction organic solar cells (BHJ-OSCs) coupled with PBDB-T, and PCE-10 as donor materials both exhibited a lower PCE than that of IDT-BFO (PBDB-T: 5.2 vs. 6.1 %; PCE-10: 1.7 vs. 3.2 %). Comprehensively comparing and investigating IDT-BOF : PBDB-T and IDT-BFO : PBDB-T OSCs suggested that the large phase separation and serious charge recombination of IDT-BOF-based OSCs contributed to its lower power conversion efficiency. Importantly, ternary solar cells based on PBDB-T : Y5 as control devices with an additional 10 % IDT-BFO exhibited a 5 % enhancement in the PCE compared to the control device (14.3 vs. 13.46 %).

Objective: To investigate the protective effect of Illicium verum extract on the vascularization of osteoporotic fracture in rats, and to elucidate its potential mechanism. Methods: The osteoporotic fracture model was established in ovariectomized rats. Rats were infused with 0.05 ml/kg extract in the stomach every morning. Eighteen rats are then divided into control group, model group, and Illicium verum extract group with 6 rats in each group. To observe the therapeutic effect of Illicium verum extract on osteoporotic rats. Femoral bone mineral density and elastic segment end-point load were evaluated by dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry and three-point bending test. Hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to measure the number and area of callus blood vessels. The serum levels of VEGF and NO were detected by ELISA. Moreover, the expressions of NOX2, NOX4, NRF2, p-PI3K, CyclinD1, VEGF, HIF1α, and eNOS in HUVEC were detected by Western blot. CCK8 and wound healing assay were used to detect the proliferation and migration of HUVEC. Then, the ability of HUVEC to form blood vessels was detected by tube formation assay. Results: Firstly, control group showed the normal pathomorphology and density of femoral bone, and model group showed significantly decreased bone density and consistent with bone microstructure degeneration, destruction, thinning, and fracture of bone trabecular structure vs control group, and illicium verum extract significantly increased femoral density and maximum load, increased the number and area of callus blood vessels and increased VEGF and NO levels in serum vs model group. Then, Illicium verum extract promoted the expression of NRF2, p-PI3K, CyclinD1, VEGF, HIF1α, and eNOS protein in HUVEC, inhibited the expression of NOX2 and NOX4, and enhanced the cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. However, the effect was reversed by the overexpression of NRF2 and the treatment with LY294002. Conclusion: Illicium verum extract protects the vascularization of the osteoporotic fracture model in rats.

There are some problems with estrus detection in ewes in large-scale meat sheep farming: mainly, the manual detection method is labor-intensive and the contact sensor detection method causes stress reactions in ewes. To solve the abovementioned problems, we proposed a multi-objective detection layer neural network-based method for ewe estrus crawling behavior recognition. The approach we proposed has four main parts. Firstly, to address the problem of mismatch between our constructed ewe estrus dataset and the YOLO v3 anchor box size, we propose to obtain a new anchor box size by clustering the ewe estrus dataset using the K-means++ algorithm. Secondly, to address the problem of low model recognition precision caused by small imaging of distant ewes in the dataset, we added a 104 × 104 target detection layer, making the total target detection layer reach four layers, strengthening the model's ability to learn shallow information and improving the model's ability to detect small targets. Then, we added residual units to the residual structure of the model, so that the deep feature information of the model is not easily lost and further fused with the shallow feature information to speed up the training of the model. Finally, we maintain the aspect ratio of the images in the data-loading module of the model to reduce the distortion of the image information and increase the precision of the model. The experimental results show that our proposed model has 98.56% recognition precision, while recall was 98.04%, F1 value was 98%, mAP was 99.78%, FPS was 41 f/s, and model size was 276 M, which can meet the accurate and real-time recognition of ewe estrus behavior in large-scale meat sheep farming.

In a series of n-type semiconducting naphthalene tetracarboxydiimide (NDI)-dithiophene (T2) copolymers, structural and electronic properties trends are systematically evaluated as the number of NDI carbonyl groups is reduced from 4 in NDI to 3 in NBL (1-amino-4,5-8-naphthalene-tricarboxylic acid-1,8-lactam-4,5-imide) to 2 in NBA (naphthalene-bis(4,8-diamino-1,5-dicarboxyl)-amide). As the NDI-T2 backbone torsional angle falls the LUMO energy rises. However, the thienyl attachment regiochemistry also plays an important role in less symmetric NBL and NBA. Electron mobility is greatest for N2200 (0.17 cm2  V-1 s-1 ) followed by PNBL-3,8-T2 and PNBA-2,6-T2 (0.11 cm2  V-1 s-1 ), 0.02 cm2  V-1 s-1 in PNBL-4,8-T2, and negligible in PNBA-3,7-T2. Charge transport reflects a delicate balance between electronic backbone communication (optimum for N2200 and PNBL-4,8-T2), backbone planarity (optimum for PNBA-2,6-T2 and PNBL-3,8-T2), LUMO energy (optimum for N2200), π-π stacking distance (optimum for PNBA-2,6-T2), and film crystallinity (optimum for PNBA-2,6-T2 and N2200). These results offer generalizable insight into semiconducting copolymer design.

PURPOSE: To evaluate the associations between medical check-up items (MCI) for fundus and intraocular pressure abnormality (FIPA) diseases in the Department of Health Management Centre, the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (DHMC-FHS). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Individuals who visited DHMC-FHS and underwent MCI between June 2017 to May 2019 were included, 3237 subjects. A total of 356 participants were diagnosed as FIPA and enrolled. The general clinical characteristics were collected. Diseases for FIPA diagnosed included five cohort, high intraocular pressure, diabetic retinopathy, hypertension fundus arteriosclerosis, large eye cup, and high myopia fundus changes. Possible impact factors of MCI included blood routine, B-ultrasound, heart rate, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, standard vision, cerebral arteriosclerosis, body mass, arterial/carotid arteriosclerosis, etc. Further, the Pearson's correlation coefficients and logistic regression analyses were used to examine associations between MCI and FIPA. RESULTS: The weighted study population who belonged to FIPA included 356 subjects. There were significant differences in age, IOP, habitual exercise, smoking, sleep duration (P˂0.05) between FIPA and without FIPA. And RBC, Hemoglobin, B-ultrasound abnormal event, heart rate, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, TC, LDL-C, standard vision, cerebral arteriosclerosis, body mass index, carotid arteriosclerosis were positively correlated with high intraocular pressure, hypertension fundus arteriosclerosis and high myopia fundus changes (P < .05). Possible prognosis risk factors, higher IOP, habitual exercise and more frequent smoking affect FIPA prognosis significantly [Odds ratio (OR) = 0.53, P = .01; OR = 0.13, P = .03; OR = 0.83; P = .04, respectively]. CONCLUSION: Of FIPA participants, high intraocular pressure, hypertension fundus arteriosclerosis and high myopia fundus changes were shown a positive relationship with MCI. Control IOP, habitual exercise and less frequent smoking were regarded as positive associations with decreased FIPA. These findings could help us prevent and diagnose FIPA diseases in time via MCI.

BACKGROUND: To evaluate the diagnostic value of transcranial Doppler (TCD) and electroencephalography (EEG) in patients with vertebrobasilar insufficiency (VBI) during clinical diagnosis and treatment METHODS: Eighty patients diagnosed with VBI in our hospital from June 2018 to December 2019 were randomly selected as the observation group, and 80 healthy people who received physical examination in the same period were selected as the control group. The abnormal rate, main performance and results, and the peak velocity of blood flow and vertebrobasilar artery blood flow of the two groups were compared. RESULTS: The abnormal rate of EEG and TCD in VBI patients was 38.75% (31/80) and the 93.75% (75/80), respectively. In TCD examination, ACA, PCA, MCA, and VA of both sides of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, while BA was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The Vs, Vd, and Vm on both sides of BA and VA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while PI and RI were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: TCD examination is highly sensitive to the degree and pattern of cerebral ischemia in VBI patients. EEG examination will define the changes of brain cell function after cerebral ischemia. Therefore, EEG and TCD have their own advantages. The application of TCD and EEG can be considered in the early diagnosis, curative effect, and prognosis evaluation of VBI patients, so as to improve the accuracy of diagnosis and prognosis.

OBJECTIVE: To systematically assess the efficacy of anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion (ACCF) versus posterior laminoplasty (LAMP) for cervical ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL). METHODS: PubMed and EMBASE, Cochrane Library, CBM, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP were collected from 7 databases of ACCF, LAMP from 1970 to May 2018. According to the criteria, the articles were included and independently screened by two authors. The quality of the articles was assessed by using the MINORS scale (methodological index for non randomized studies). After extracting the data from the article, the JOA score, cervical curvature, operation time, bleeding volume, excellent and good rate, recovery rate, adverse events and secondary surgery were analyzed by using Review Manager 5.3 software. RESULTS: Finally, a total of 22 articles with 1 678 patients were included in this Meta-analysis, with 810 patients in ACCF group and 868 patients in LAMP group. Meta analysis results showed that the ACCF group had higher postoperative JOA scores[MD=0.63, 95%CI(0.05, 1.20), P= 0.03], higher excellent rate [OR=1.85, 95%CI (1.14, 3.02), P=0.01] and higher recovery rate [OR=11.90, 95%CI (5.75, 18.05), P=0.000 1]. But the LAMP group has a shorter operative time [MD=52.19, 95%CI (29.36, 75.03), P<0.000 01], less complications [OR=1.56, 95%CI (1.03, 2.35), P=0.04] and less reoperations [OR=3.73, 95%CI (1.62, 8.57), P=0.002]. There was no significant different in postoperative lordosis [MD=3.15, 95%CI(-0.14, 6.43), P=0.06] and blood loss[SMD= 0.26, 95%CI(-0.05, 0.57), P=0.10] between two groups. CONCLUSION: The recovery of functionof ACCF group was better, but operation time, complications and reoperations of LAMP group were all better than ACCF group. There was no difference in postoperative lordosis and intraoperative blood loss between two groups. However, there are some limitations in this study. Therefore, higher quality and larger sample size clinical studies are needed to further verify.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the auxiliary analgesic effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture on patients undergoing transforaminal endoscope surgery. METHODS: A total of 64 patients with lumbar disc herniation who underwent percutaneous lateral transforaminal endoscope surgery were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 32 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with injection of 1% lidocaine for routine local infiltration anesthesia. The patients in the observation group were treated with wrist-ankle acupuncture at lower 5 area and lower 6 area for 30 min, 5 min before routine local infiltration anesthesia; immediately, 15 min, 30 min after insertion the left-right technique, up-down technique, and rotation technique were applied for six times, respectively. The mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pain visual analogue scale (VAS) were compared between the two groups at the time points of intraoperative puncture (T1), circular saw grinding (T2), and placement of working channel (T3). The intention of reoperation was recorded immediately after operation and 24 h after operation. The expectation and treatment credibility scale (ETCS) was used to evaluate the relationship between patients' expectation and efficacy 5 min before operation and immediately after operation. RESULTS: At T2 and T3 during the operation, the MAP and HR in the obserrvation group were lower than those in the control group, while SpO2 was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). At T1, there was no significant difference of MAP, HR and SpO2 between the two groups (P>0.05). At T2, the peak VAS and average VAS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference at T1 and T3 (P>0.05). The intention of reoperation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group both immediately after operation and 24 h after operation (P<0.05). In the observation group, the scores of each item in ETCS immediately after operation were higher than those 5 min before operation (P<0.05), while in the control group there was no significant difference between immediately after operation and 5 min before operation (P>0.05). The scores of ETCS1, ETCS2 and ETCS3 immediately after operation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The wrist-ankle acupuncture has positive auxiliary analgesic effect on lumbago during transforaminal endoscope surgery, and strengthens the patients' confidence on the operation effect.

BACKGROUND: Adolescents and young adults might play a key role in the worldwide spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) because they are more likely to be involved in overseas study, business, work, and travel. However, the epidemiological and clinical characteristics remain unknown. METHODS: We collected demographic, epidemiological, and clinical data from 46 confirmed COVID-19 patients aged 10 to 35 years from the Chongqing Three Gorges Central Hospital. Several key epidemiological parameters, asymptomatic cases, transmission to family members, and clinical characteristics at admission and during treatment were summarized. RESULTS: Of 46 confirmed patients, 14 patients (30.4%) were aged between 10 and 24 years, and 24 (52.2%) patients were male. The estimated mean incubation period was 6.6 days (95% confidence interval [CI] 4.4-9.6). The median serial interval was 1.9 days (95% CI 0.4-6.2). Three of the asymptomatic cases showed transmission to their family members. Only one patient was identified as a severe case at admission. The common symptoms at admission were dry cough (34, 81.0%) and fever (29, 69.1%). Nearly 60% of the patients showed ground-glass opacity on chest computed tomography. Three patients developed acute kidney injury during treatment. Most of the patients (78.3%) recovered and were discharged by the end of the follow-up. CONCLUSIONS: This single-center study with a relatively small sample size showed that adolescent and young adult patients with COVID-19 had a long incubation period and a short serial interval. The transmission occurred from asymptomatic cases to family members. Fewer patients developed complications during treatment.

One pair of isomers, centrosymmetric anti-Py-1 and axisymmetric syn-Py-2, was designed and synthesized with an acceptor-donor-acceptor (A-D-A) structure by choosing dithienocyclopentapyrene with four 4-hexylphenyl side chains as the D unit, and 2-(5,6-difluoro-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-ylidene) malononitrile as the A unit. In-depth structure-property relationship studies revealed that the isomers have similar UV/Vis absorption, fluorescence emission, and energy levels but significant differences in molecular shape, polarity, and charge mobility. Solution-processed bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) small-molecule organic solar cells with Py-1 as the electron-acceptor material and PTB7-Th as the electron-donor material exhibit a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 6.07 %, or 60 % higher than that of Py-2 (3.7 %), which could be mainly attributed to the higher and more balanced hole/electron mobilities and better phase separation of the Py-1-based active layer.

The complete sequence of a novel RNA virus isolated from Tetrastichus brontispae (TbRV-1) was determined to be 12,239 nucleotides in length with five non-overlapping, linearly arranged coding sequences (CDS), potentially encoding nucleoproteins, hypothetical proteins, matrix proteins, glycoproteins, and RNA-dependent RNA polymerases. Sequence analysis indicated that the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of TbRV-1 shares a 65% nucleotide and 67% amino acid sequence identity with Hubei dimarhabdovirus 2, suggesting that TbRV-1 is a member of the dimarhabdovirus supergroup. This corresponded to the result of the phylogenetic analysis. The affiliation of TbRV-1 with members of the family Rhabdoviridae was further validated by similar transcription termination motifs (GGAACUUUUUUU) to the Drosophila sigmavirus. The prevalence of TbRV-1 in all tissues suggested that the virus was constitutive of, and not specific to, any wasp tissue. To our knowledge, this is the first report on the complete genome sequence of a dimarhabdovirus in parasitoids.

A new strategy for the metal-free decarboxylative alkoxylation of 2-picolinic acid and its derivatives is described. The three-component reaction of 2-picolinic acid or its derivatives, cyclic ethers, and tBuOCl proceeded smoothly in the presence of a catalytic amount of p-chloranil to produce 2-alkoxylated pyridines with an ω-chlorine atom in satisfactory to excellent yields. New C-O and C-Cl bonds were generated in one step. The ω-C-Cl bond can be easily transformed to a C-C or C-heteroatom bond, increasing the use of 2-alkoxylated pyridine products in organic synthesis. The electronic property of the substituent linked on the pyridine ring did not influence the reactivity of the 2-picolinic acid substrates.

A squaraine-based small molecule (USQ-BI) bearing 3H-benzo[e]indoline was synthesized as an electron donor, and the corresponding organic solar cells show power conversion efficiency of 5.35 % with an excellent short circuit current of over 15 mA cm-2 . The hole mobility of USQ-BI was about 5 times (9.57×10-5 vs. 2.00×10-5  cm2 V-1 s-1 ) higher than that of indoline-based squaraine.

A series of unsymmetrical arene-1,3-squaraine (USQ) derivatives with two, three, or four hydroxy (-OH) substituents, namely, USQ-2-OH, USQ-3-OH, or USQ-4-OH, respectively, were designed and synthesized, and the effect of the number of hydroxy groups on the optoelectronic properties of USQs were investigated. Despite the three compounds having similar UV/Vis absorption and HOMO energy levels, solution-processed bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) small-molecule organic solar cells with USQ-3-OH as electron-donor materials exhibit the highest power conversion efficiency of 6.07 %, which could be mainly attributed to the higher hole mobility and smaller phase separation. It is also noteworthy that the short-circuit current (Jsc ) of the USQ-3-OH-based device is as high as 14.95 mA cm-2 , which is the highest Jsc values reported for squaraine-based BHJ solar cells to date. The results also indicate that more -OH substituents on squaraine dyes do not necessarily lead to better photovoltaic performance.

RESUMO

A simple azulene-containing squaraine dye (AzUSQ) showing bandgap of 1.38 eV and hole mobility up to 1.25×10(-4)  cm(2) V(-1) s(-1) was synthesized. With its low bandgap, an organic photovoltaic (OPV) device based on it has been made that exhibits an impressive open-circuit voltages (Voc ) of 0.80 V. Hence, azulene might be a promising structural unit to construct OPV materials with simultaneous low bandgap, high hole mobility and high Voc .

Randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers quickly provide linkage information, especially in conifers where haploid megagametophytes can be used for genotyping. Traditionally use of slab gel electrophresis results in qualitative data that can be manually manipulated to gain semiquantitative information about the polymorphic RAPD fragments. We have proposed the use of an integrated microfluidic chip-based system as a new tool in the analysis of polymorphic RAPD fragments. The chip-based method was found to be very sensitive,requiring much less sample and only quarter the time compared to the agarose gel method. The automated data analysis sizes and quantitates the DNA fragments, thus yielding a more thorough,reproducible, sensitive, and rapid analysis.
