RESUMO

The crystal structure of the title compound, C(4)H(7)N(5)·C(2)H(6)O, is determined by extensive hydrogen bonding. A sequence of dimeric associations, formed by N-H(amino)⋯N(ring), connects the triazine rings into a mol-ecular tape. Mol-ecules are linked into a supra-molecular structure by N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The asymmetric unit consists of two formula units.

RESUMO

New N-benzoin aniline and Eu(BZA)3 phen were synthesized, and they were characterized by EA, IR, 1H NMR and UV. The Eu(III) complex spectra were excited at the wavelength of 342 nm, which exhibited a red emissive color, and the Eu characteristic peaks appeared at 592 and 615 nm, respectively. The 615 nm transition showed the strongest emission. N-benzoin aniline sensitizes to Eu ions and it is a good ligand of Eu complex.

RESUMO

A new copolymer of 8-hydroxyquinaldine gallium acrylate and methyl methacrylate was prepared. The composition and properties of the copolymer were characterized by FTIR, UV-Vis, DSC, TG and fluorescence spectra. A strong blue-green photoluminescence, with the peak at 496 nm, was observed for the copolymer/CHCl3 solution. Effect of monomer ratio and concentration on the photoluminescence property of the copolymer was investigated. The results showed that the maximum fluorescence intensity was attained when Ga(Mq)2A: MMA was 1:20, the maximum excitation wavelength is approximately 263 nm when the concentration of the copolymer is under 2 g x L(-1), but the maximum excitation wavelength exceeds 365 nm when the concentration is above 4 g x L(-1). The copolymer was soluble in chloroform, acetone, and DMF at 25 degrees C, so it could be easier to prepare electroluminescent device by spin-coat technology.

RESUMO

2-octyl-1, 3-diphenol-1, 3-propdione was synthesized by phase transfer catalysis and its Sm complexes were prepared. These compounds were characterized by IR, EA, UV and 1H NMR; Sm complex and its mixture doped with PE and PVC show photoluminescence at 650 nm. There is excellent compatibility between Sm complex and plastics by the addition of long carbon chain. Therefore, Sm complex with long carbon chain is a superior light conversion agent with good compatibility in resins with emission wavelength suitable to the 643 and 660 nm for plants' photosynthesis.

RESUMO

3-Allyl-2,4-pentanedione (APD) was synthesized and its rare earth complexes were prepared. The compounds were characterized by EA, IR and 1H NMR. The sensitization of acetylacetone was changed by allyl, which became a novel ligand of Eu.
