RESUMO

Objective To investigate thrombelastogram (TEG) correlation between parameters and platelet count in perioperative period patients. Methods Selected 139 patients,69 cases with thrombocytopenia,35 cases with normal platelet number and 35 cases with thrombocytosis from 2012 January to 2014 May,monitored TEG,blood coagulation function and the change of blood routine during perioperative period.Spearman test was used to analyze the different level of platelet count and other coagulation parameters. Results The positive correlation between platelet count and TEG parameters were:MA (r=0.57,P<0.57),Angle (r=0.54,P<0.000 1),CI (r=0.57,P<0.000 1),and R was negatively correlated with platelet count (r=-0.27,P<0.000 1).There was no significant correlation between PT,APTT and platelet count. In mild lack of platelet group [(87.34 ± 10.43) × 109/L] and normal group [(198.47 ± 45.30) × 109/L],platelet count was positively correlated with MA and Angle. In severe lower [(39.33±10.63) × 109/L] and higher group [(330.34±35.43) × 109/L],there was no correlation between platelet platelet count with MA or Angle. Conclusion Platelet count was significantly correlated with CI,Angle and MA,but in patients with moderately severe lower platelet and platelet increase the platelet count do not reflect the aggregation function,MA is more sensitive response to platelet function.

RESUMO

Liquid chromatography hybrid ion trap/time-of-flight mass spectrometry possessesd both the MS(n) ability of ion trap and the excellent resolution of a time-of-flight, and has been widely used to identify drug metabolites and determine trace multi-components for in natural products. Collision energy, one of the most important factors in acquiring MS(n) information, could be set freely in the range of 10%-400%. Herein, notoginsenosides were chosen as model compounds to build a novel methodology for the collision energy optimization. Firstly, the fragmental patterns of the representatives for the authentic standards of protopanaxadiol-type and protopanaxatriol-type notoginsenosides authentic standards were obtained based on accurate MS(2) and MS(3) measurements via liquid chromatography hybrid ion trap/time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Then the extracted ion chromatograms of characteristic product ions of notoginsenosides in Panax Notoginseng Extract, which were produced under a series of collision energies and, were compared to screen out the optimum collision energies values for MS(2) and MS(3). The results demonstrated that the qualitative capability of liquid chromatography hybrid ion trap/time-of-flight mass spectrometry was greatly influenced by collision energies, and 50% of MS(2) collision energy was found to produce the highest collision-induced dissociation efficiency for notoginsenosides. BesidesAddtionally, the highest collision-induced dissociation efficiency appeared when the collision energy was set at 75% in the MS(3) stage.

RESUMO

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore the expression of CCAAT/enhancer binding protein beta (CEBPB) in gastric carcinoma tissues and its association with clinicopathological features and prognosis.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>CEBPB protein expression level was detected by immunohistochemistry method in resected gastric carcinomas and adjacent gastric mucosa tissues (n=81), and its association with clinicopathological features and prognosis was analyzed.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The immunohistochemical staining of CEBPB was predominantly in the nucleus with some cytoplasmic staining. As a result, 16% (13/81) of the gastric carcinomas were stained positively, whereas there was hardly positive expression in adjacent gastric mucosa tissues. There was a significant association between the expression of CEBPB and distant metastasis on univariate analysis (P<0.05). The median survival time in patients with positive CEBPB expression was significantly lower than those with negative CEBPB expression (19.4 months vs. 45.2 months, P=0.024). Multivariable analysis showed that CEBPB was independently associated with prognosis (HR=2.544, 95%CI:1.154-5.610, P=0.021).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Up-regulation of CEBPB suggests poor prognosis in patients with gastric cancer.</p>
