RESUMO

BackgroundAs increasing cases of COVID-19 around world, urgent need for effective COVID-19-specific therapeutic drugs is necessary; therefore, we conducted a pilot randomized-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy of 99mTc-MDP for COVID-19 therapeutic treatment. MethodsA total of 21 mild patients with COVID-19 were enrolled in this pilot RCT from February 2020 through March 2020, and then were assigned, in a 1:1 ratio, into control (11 patients) and 99mTc-MDP group (10 patients). Patients in the control group received routine treatment and patients assigned to the 99mTc-MDP group received a combination of routine treatment and an administration of 99mTc-MDP injection of 5ml/day. Both of the patients in the control and 99mTc-MDP groups were treated for 7 days with the primary end point of CT-based radiological pulmonary changes during 7-day follow-up. FindingsFrom baseline to the day 7, 8 (80%) of 10 mild patients in the 99mTc-MDP group had a significant radiological improvement in lung and a decline in inflammatory infiltration, whereas only 1 (9.1%) of 11 patients in the control group had a radiological improvement in lung. None of the patients in the 99mTc-MDP group had disease progression from mild to severe, as well as an inflammatory cytokine storm, and 2 mild patients (18.2%) in the control group developed severe. During days 7 through 14, the number of patients with radiological improvement in the 99mTc-MDP group remained consistent, and only 1 additional case (22%) in the control group were reported. ConclusionIn this randomized pilot study, 99mTc-MDP had an effective inhibitory effect on the inflammatory disease progression for the therapy of COVID-19, and it can accelerate the absorption of pulmonary inflammation in a short period of time during the process of treatment.

RESUMO

AIM To establish an HPLC method for the simultaneous content determination of calycosin-7-glucoside,ononin,calycosin,formononetin,oxypaeoniflorin,alibiflorin and benzoylpaeoniflorin in Sangqishouwu Tablets (Talxilli Herba,Astragali Radix,Polygoni multiflori Radix Praeparata,etc.).METHODS The analysis of methanol extract of this drug was performed on a 25 ℃ thermostatic Diamonsil C18 colmn (250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of acetonitrile-0.02% phosphoric acid flowing at 0.9 mL/min in a gradient elution manner, and the detection wavelengths were set at 230 nm and 254 nm.RESULTS Seven constituents showed good linear relationships within their own ranges (r ≥ 0.999 2),whose average recoveries were 97.13%-100.03% with the RSDs of 0.69%-1.47%.CONCLUSION This sensitive, accurate and specific method can be used for the rapid quality control of Sangqishouwu Tablets.

RESUMO

Talent cultivation is the important pillar for TCM development, however, cultivating students into qualified TCM doctors is not the only target for TCM higher education. Talent cultivation model of TCM higher education should take three dimensional TCM development strategy as a guide and set the construction of a pyramid talent structure as a goal, to cultivate the talents that not only can meet the features of TCM disciplinary development, but also promote the cultivation of clinical, research and communicative talents in TCM domain.

RESUMO

Objective:To study the morphologic and phenotypic characters of a macrophage-tumor vaccine, and to observe the effect of macrophage-tumor vaccine on inducing CTL respose. Methods:The super-structure and the expression of CD14,CD68,CD80,CD86,MHC Ⅱ molecules of macrophage-tumor cells were detected with electron microscope, immunofluorescence staining and flow cytometry respectively.Meanwhile,H22 tumor cells were transplanted to the mice that had been immunized with different tumor vaccines. The weight and volume of tumors, the tumor cell injure rate and the level of LDH in culture supernatant were detected with direct measurement,MTT and selection methods. Results:The macrophage tumor vaccine cells were large cells with an irregular outline, and generally displayed pseudopodium, membrane folding, and vesicles on the cell surface. The predominant cytoplasmic organelles were lysosomes, secondary lysosomes and residual bodies. The percentage of CD14,CD68,CD80,CD86 and MHC Ⅱ positive cells within the differentiated population were 53.90%,98.60%,26.50%,90.20% and 25.40% respectively. The results of experiment in vivo revealed that the tumor forming rate, volume and weight of the group immunized with macrophage-tumor vaccine were much lower than that of control group and the group that were immunized with the macrophages that were induced by liquid paraffin (P0.05),the tumor weight and volume of the group immunized with the macrophage-tumor vaccine were lower than those of the group immunized with inactivated tumor cells(P

RESUMO

Objective: To investigate the immunotherapeutic effects of elemene combo tumor cell vaccine(EC TCV) on Hca F murine hepatic carcinoma and changes of IL 10 and IL 12 secretion by splenocytes of treated mice. Methods: BALB/c mice inoculated with Hca F were treated with EC TCV, CY, EC TCV+CY or PBS control, tumor growth was measured, concentration of IL 10 and IL 12 in supernatants of mixed splenocytes and Hca F culture(MSTC) was assayed with ELISA. Results: After EC TCV immunotherapy and CY chemotherapy, the latent period of tumor growth prolonged, mean tumor weight (MTW) decreased, even no nodule was observed in EC TCV+CY chemoimmunotherapy group, the concentration of IL 10 in supernatants of MSTC of EC TCV immunotherapy group decreased significantly(1.82?0.29 pg/ml, P
