RESUMO

Due to the poor bifunctional electrocatalytic performances of electrocatalysts in zinc-air battery, herein, we first synthesized Ni/Ni12P5@CNx Mott-Schottky heterojunction to ameliorate the high-cost and instability of precious metals. We modulated the different contents of Ni and Ni12P5 in the Ni/Ni12P5@CNx Mott-Schottky heterojunction, and found that 0.6 Ni/Ni12P5@CNx has outstanding electrocatalytic performances, with half-wave potential of 0.83 V, and OER potential of 1.49 V at 10 mA cm-2. Also, the ΔE value is only 0.66 V. Moreover, 0.6 Ni/Ni12P5@CNx is assembled into ZAB, which has a high power density of 181 mW cm-2 and a high specific capacity of 710 mAh g-1. This indicates it has a good cycle stability. The density functional theory (DFT) calculations reveal that electrons spontaneously flow from Ni to Ni12P5 through the formed buffer layer in the Ni/Ni12P5@CNx Mott-Schottky heterojunction. The Schottky barrier formed modulates the electrocatalytic pathway to have good bifunctional electrocatalytic activity for ORR and OER.

RESUMO

Zinc-air battery is a novel safe and environment-friendly energy storage device, but the noble-metal electrocatalysts at the air electrode urge people to search for new substitutes. Herein, different ratios of manganese (Mn) and cobalt (Co) are doped into the iron Prussian blue analogs (PBAs) and used as bifunctional electrocatalysts. The Mn1.33Co0.67-PBA shows the outstanding electrocatalytic properties that the half-wave potential is 0.79 V, the Ej=10 of OER is 1.54 V, and the ΔE is as low as 0.75 V, which is superior to that of Pt/C + RuO2 system (0.78 V). Benefiting from the bimetallic-doping advantage, the Mn1.33Co0.67-PBA has good stability in alkaline solutions. Besides, the Mn1.33Co0.67-PBA was assembled into ZAB, possessing a high maximum power density of 161 mW cm-2 and a large specific capacity of 617 mAh g-1, as well as excellent cycle stability. The as-prepared bimetallic-doped PBA has the potential for applications in the energy storage and conversion field.

RESUMO

COVID-19 is a major public health event affecting the people worldwide. Nurses are still under immense psychological pressure. This study aimed to explore the relationship between mental fatigue and negative emotions among frontline medical staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study was conducted in August 2020, which included 419 medical staff between 17 to 28 years. The Fatigue Scale, Multidimensional Mental Flexibility Questionnaire, Cognitive Fusion Scale, and Depression-Anxiety-Stress Brief Version Scale were used. During the data collection period, the pandemic was under control in China and continued worldwide. The results indicated that 27.7% of the medical staff experienced depression, and 32.3% of them feel stressed. Specifically, first, correlation analyses showed significant positive pairwise correlations between mental fatigue, psychological inflexibility, cognitive fusion, and negative emotions among nurses. Second, mediation model tests showed statistically significant mediating effects of psychological inflexibility and cognitive fusion between mental fatigue on nurses' negative emotions, and statistically, significant chain mediating effects of psychological inflexibility and cognitive fusion. Mental fatigue indirectly affects nurses' negative effects through the mediating effects of psychological inflexibility, cognitive fusion, and the chain mediating effects of psychological inflexibility and cognitive fusion, respectively. the negative effects of mental fatigue come from impairment of cognitive functioning, and interventions using acceptance and commitment therapy for mental fatigue and negative emotions are more effective since both psychological inflexibility and cognitive fusion are important components of the therapy.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) causes numerous deaths worldwide. however, biomarkers for NSCLC prognosis are scarce for its heterogeneity. Proteins containing the RING finger domain RING finger protein 180 (RNF180) is a key mediator for ubiquitination, which controls cell cycle and regulates progression in certain human tumors. However, the detailed function of RNF180 in NSCLC remains unclear. In the present study, we aimed to investigate the role of RNF180 and its molecule network in NSCLC. METHODS: Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemical staining were used to analyze RNF180 levels. RNA interference and lentiviral-mediated vector transfections were performed to silence and overexpress RNF180 in NSCLC cells. Furthermore, Cell Counting Kit-8 was used for assessing biological function of RNF180 in cell proliferation and a xenograft model for examining its function in vivo. The activity of glycolysis was determined by examining the level of the extracellular acidification rate (ECAR). RESULTS: RNF180 expression decreased in NSCLC tissues, and its expression was positively correlated with the survival rate of patients with NSCLC. Moreover, RNF180 overexpression suppressed the proliferation and glycolytic activities in NSCLC cells and restricted its tumorigenicity in vivo. Furthermore, RNF180 silencing promoted the proliferation and glycolysis metabolism of NSCLC cells, whereas C-myc inhibitor disrupted these effects. The underlying anti-oncogene of RNF180 involved in C-myc downregulation via ubiquitin-dependent degradation. CONCLUSIONS: Together, these results firstly indicated the anti-tumor properties of RNF180 and its correlation with NSCLC progression, thereby endorsing the potential role of RNF180 as an efficient prognostic biomarker for tumor recurrence.

RESUMO

Tripartite motif containing 37 (TRIM37), a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family, has been involved in the development and progression of several tumors. However, its role in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is still unclear. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the expression pattern and role of TRIM37 in NSCLC. Our results showed that TRIM37 was highly expressed in human NSCLC cell lines. Knockdown of TRIM37 obviously inhibited the proliferation in vitro and xenografted tumor growth in vivo. Furthermore, knockdown of TRIM37 suppressed NSCLC cell migration and invasion by inhibiting the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) phenotype. Lastly, knockdown of TRIM37 greatly down-regulated the protein expression levels of ß-catenin, cyclinD1 and c-myc in A549 cells. In conclusion, the present study revealed that TRIM37 plays an important role in the development and progression of NSCLC. Thus, TRIM37 may act a potential therapeutic target for treating NSCLC.
