RESUMO

One of the most critical biological characteristics of gastric cancer (GC) is invasion and metastasis, which is also the main factor of recurrence and drug resistance. Epithelial intermediate transformation is a biological process. Epithelial cells lose the ability to exercise their epithelial characteristics while acquiring parental characteristics. Malignant epithelial cancer cells lose their connectivity and polarity through the EMT process, change cell morphology and enhance their migration ability, so as to gain the ability of invasion and variation. In this paper, we proposed that trop2 can promote vimentin expression by regulating ß - Catenin to induce the transformation and metastasis of gastric cancer cells. In this study, a control group experiment was set up to construct mkn45tr and nci-n87tr resistant cell lines. The results showed that the resistance index (RI) of mkn45tr was 31.33, P < 0.01; the resistance index (RI) of nci-n87tr was 108.23, P < 0.01. The results show that the drug resistance of gastric cancer cells will become stronger with the change of time.

RESUMO

@#[Abstract] Chemokines are small secreted proteins produced by cancer and stromal cells. Chemokine receptors are also expressed on the surface of tumor cells and stromal cells. Chemokines bind to their homologous receptors to regulate tumor growth directly and indirectly, including direct regulation of tumor proliferation and metastasis by activating signal pathway, indirect regulation of tumor through acting on vascular endothelial cells and regulating immune response by coordinating the migration and localization of immune cells in tissues. Chemokines can be divided into four categories: CXC, CC, CX3C and C, among which CXC and CC are the most studied subtypes. In view of the fact that CXC chemokines and their receptors play a wide range of roles in malignant tumors and are closely related to the immune system, they are expected to become potential therapeutic targets, to improve tumor immune response by combining with immune checkpoint inhibitors to act in tumor microenvironment (TME). This paper reviews the research progress on chemokine/chemokine receptor axis of CXC subtypes, including the basic biological characteristics of tumor-promoting axis CXCR2/CXCLs, CXCR4/CXCL12 and tumor-suppressing axis CXCR3/CXCL9-11, their direct effect on tumor, indirect effect on TME, targeted therapy and prognostic significance of the receptors and ligands contained in these three axes.

RESUMO

With a goal of identifying a new scalable source for cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs), we successfully isolated CNCs from a sustainable, non-invasive grass, Miscanthus x. Giganteus (MxG). Subjecting MxG stalks to base hydrolysis, bleaching and acid hydrolysis allowed access to cellulose nanocrystals (MxG-CNC) in high yields. X-ray diffraction studies showed the crystallinity of the MxG-CNCs increased with subsequent treatment conditions (>90% after HCl hydrolysis). Transmission electron microscopy showed that the MxG-CNC exhibit relatively high aspect ratios (60-70), and small angle neutron scattering showed the crystals were ribbon-like with a width and thickness of 8.5 and 2.8nm respectively. As expected, thermomechanical analysis of nanocomposites fabricated with carboxylic acid functionalized MxG-CNC (MxG-CNC-COOH) and PVAc showed an increase in modulus (above Tg) as filler content was increased. Comparing the properties to PVAc nanocomposites containing CNCs from wood showed at least as good, if not slightly better, reinforcement at the same loading level.

RESUMO

Recognition by gait is a new field for the biometric recognition technology. Its aim is to recognize people and detect physiological, pathological and mental characters by their walk style. The use of gait as a biometric for human identification is promising. The technique of gait recognition, as an attractive research area of biomedical information detection, attracts more and more attention. In this paper is introduced a survey of the basic theory, existing gait recognition methods and potential prospects. The latest progress and key factors of research difficulties are analyzed, and future researches are envisaged.
