RESUMO

Polyhydroquinolines were efficiently obtained from a sequential four-component reaction between dimedone or 1,3-cyclohexandione, ethyl acetoacetate, or methyl acetoacetate as a ß-ketoester, aldehydes, and ammonium acetate, under the catalysis of Mo@GAA-Fe3O4 MNPs as a green, effective, recyclable, and environmentally friendly nanocatalyst. Due to its magnetic nature the prepared catalyst can be easily separated from the reaction mixture by an external magnet and reused several times without significant changes in catalytic activity and reaction efficiency. The catalyst was characterized using energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

RESUMO

The present study was conducted to synthesize Zr@IL-Fe3O4 MNPs as a new magnetically recoverable heterogeneous catalyst, which was then characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. The catalytic behavior of the Zr@IL-Fe3O4 MNPs was efficiently used for the synthesis of highly substituted pyran derivatives via a one-pot three-component condensation of 4-hydroxycoumarin/dimedone, malononitrile, and arylaldehydes under solvent-free conditions. This new methodology demonstrated some important features, including short reaction times, excellent yields, lower loading of the catalyst, easy work-up, and recyclability of the catalyst for a minimum of six times without any noticeable decrease in catalytic activity.

RESUMO

The anchorage of a supported copper Schiff base complex on SBA-15 materials provides highly efficient heterogeneous catalysts towards the solvent-free synthesis of dihydropyrimidinones derivatives via the Biginelli condensation reaction. The novel nanocatalysts exhibited a highly ordered mesostructure with a surface area of 346 m²g-1 and an average pore diameter of 8.6 nm. Additionally, the supported copper nanocatalysts were reused at least ten times, remaining almost unchanged from the initial activity. Both the mesoporous scaffold and the tridentate Schiff base ligand contributed to the stabilization of copper species.

RESUMO

The synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one derivatives was accomplished efficiently via a three-component reaction between ethyl acetoacetate, various types of aldehydes, and urea in the presence of 10 mg SO3H@imineZCMNPs as a novel, environment friendly, and reusable heterogeneous magnetic nanocatalyst under solvent-free conditions at 90 °C. The desired products were obtained with high quantitative yields. The catalyst was separated by simple isolation from the reaction mixture using a permanent magnet and reused several times without any significant loss of catalytic activity. The synthesized catalyst was fully characterized through various techniques including thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and the Hammett acidity test. This methodology tolerates most substrates and has the salient features of green reaction conditions, lower catalyst loading, high quantitative yields, low cost, the absence of solvents, and easy isolation and reusability of the catalyst.

RESUMO

In this study, 8-chloro-4-hydroxyl-2-quinolone was synthesized from cyclocondensation of corresponding dianilide and subsequently used as a potent coupling component with some diazotized heterocyclic amines. These compounds were characterized by UV-vis, FT-IR, (1)H NMR spectroscopic techniques and elemental analysis. Absorption spectra of these dyes were measured in six polar solvents and discussed with respect to the nature of solvents and substituted groups. The effects of acid, base, temperature and concentration on the visible absorption spectra of the dyes were reported. In addition, the antimicrobial activity of the dyes was explored in detail.

RESUMO

The first ultrasound-promoted multicomponent synthesis of pyridazinones and phthalazinones from arenes, cyclic anhydrides and ArNHNH(2) in the presence of an efficient recyclable catalyst, [bmim]Br/AlCl(3), in high yield and short reaction time is reported.
