Facile Synthesis of Ag-Doped Urchin-like MnO2 on Carbon Cloth for Supercapacitors.

Based on MnO2/carbon cloth (CC) composite materials, an Ag-doped MnO2 nanowire, self-assembled, urchin-like structure was synthesized in situ on the surface of CC using a simple method, and a novel and efficient flexible electrode material for supercapacitors was developed. The morphology, structure, elemental distribution, and pore distribution of the material were analyzed using SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, and BET. The electrochemical performance was tested using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostatic charge/discharge (GCD). In the three-electrode system, GCD testing showed that the specific capacitance of the material reached 520.8 F/g at 0.5 A/g. After 2000 cycles at a current density of 1 A/g, the capacitance retention rate was 90.6%, demonstrating its enormous potential in the application of supercapacitor electrode materials.

A systematic review and meta-analysis of capsular contracture rate after breast augmentation with textured and smooth breast prostheses.

BACKGROUND: With the development of breast augmentation and the increased people's pursuit of beauty, more and more women choose breast prosthesis breast augmentation. This study aimed to evaluate the incidence of capsular contracture after breast augmentation with textured and smooth breast prostheses by meta-analysis. METHODS: Studies relating to capsular contracture after breast augmentation with textured breast prosthesis and smooth breast prosthesis were retrieved from the Chinese Journal Full-text Database (CNKI), VIP, the Wanfang Science and Technology Journal Full-text Database, the Chinese Biomedical Literature Search Database (CBM), PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library. The search period was from database establishment to October 2021. EndNote X9 software (Clarivate, Philadelphia, PA, USA) was used to screen and exclude duplicate studies, screen the studies according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and extract data for quality evaluation. The data were recorded using the Stata 15.1 software (StataCorp LLC, College Station, TX, USA), and a meta-analysis was performed on the incidence of capsular contracture after breast augmentation with textured and smooth breast prostheses. Finally, the reliability of the results was assessed by sensitivity analysis. A funnel plot was used to evaluate the publication bias of the literature. RESULTS: A total of 13 articles were included, and the total sample size of the study was 5,440. The results of the meta-analysis showed that the incidence of capsular contracture after breast augmentation with textured breast prostheses was significantly lower than that with smooth breast prostheses (OR =0.26; 95% CI: 0.08, 0.81; P<0.05). DISCUSSION: The incidence of capsular contracture after breast augmentation with textured breast prosthesis is significantly lower than that with smooth breast prosthesis.

A convenient four-component one-pot strategy toward the synthesis of pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidines.

An efficient one-pot synthesis of pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine derivatives by the four-component condensation of hydrazines, methylenemalononitriles, aldehydes and alcohols has been developed via two different reaction pathways. The structures of target products were characterized by IR spectroscopy, NMR ((1)H and (13)C) spectroscopy and HRMS (ESI) spectrometry. The crystal structure of 4-ethoxy-6-(2-nitrophenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.

In the title compound, C18H19NO2, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 42.0 (1)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O and C-H⋯π inter-actions.

[Analysis on follow-up efficacy and safety of slow transit constipation treated with individualized deep puncture at Tianshu (ST 25): a multi-central randomized controlled trial].

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the follow-up efficacy and safety on slow transit constipation (STC) treated with individualized deep puncture at Tianshu (ST 25). METHODS: One hundred and twenty-eight cases of STC were randomized into a deep puncture group (64 cases), a western medication group (31 cases) and a shallow puncture group (33 cases) at the ratio of 2:1:1. In the deep puncture group, electroacupuncture of deep puncture was applied to bilateral Tianshu (ST 25). The needle was inserted perpendicularly and slowly at the acupoint and went deeply till penetrating the peritoneum, about 20 to 65 mm in depth. In the western medication group, lactulose oral liquid was prescribed for oral administration. In the shallow puncture group, electroacupuncture of shallow puncture was done at bilateral Tianshu (ST 25). The needle was inserted perpendicularly and slowly, 5 to 8 mm in depth. The treatment lasted 4 weeks in the three groups and the follow-up visit of 12 weeks and 6 month after treatment was performed respectively. The weekly defecation frequency, patient's satisfaction and safety of deep puncture at Tianshu (ST 25) were assessed before and after treatment in each group. RESULTS: In the deep puncture group, the weekly defecation frequency was (1.79 +/- 1.05) times/week before treatment and was (3.90 +/- 1.43) times/week after 4-week treatment. It was (3.49 +/- 1.46) times/week in 12-week follow-up visit after treatment and was (3.51 +/- 1.42) times/week in 6-month follow-up visit after treatment. In the deep puncture group, the improvements in weekly defecation frequency, patient's satisfaction and short-term efficacy were same as those in the western medication group and the shallow puncture group (all P > 0.05). The long-term efficacy in follow-up visit was better remarkably than that in the western medication group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Besides, the combined medication was reduced and no adverse reaction occurred. CONCLUSION: The individualized deep puncture at Tianshu (ST 25) is effective in the treatment of STC and achieves the satisfactory long-term efficacy. This therapy displays the good effective advantage and deserves to be promoted in clinical practice of acupuncture and moxibustion therapeutic program as compared with the first-tier line of medication, lactulose oral liquid, recommended at home and abroad, in terms of the evidence-based medicine.

In the title compound, C(21)H(21)N(3)OS·C(3)H(7)NO, the carbonitrile mol-ecule is built up of two fused six-membered rings and one six-membered ring linked through a spiro C atom. The 1,3-diaza ring adopts an envelope conformation and the cyclo-hexane ring adopts a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 46.7 (3)°. In the crystal, the components are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

[Assessment of the operation standard and safety on the individual deep puncturing at Tianshu (ST 25) under CT].

OBJECTIVE: To discuss the individual operation standard and safety on the deep puncturing at Tianshu (ST 25). METHODS: The deep insertion through the peritoneum about 1-2 millimeter was taken as individual standard depth at Tianshu (ST 25) for 39 patients. Using CT cross-section scanning and image surveying, the regression analysis was conducted on the impacts of abdominal circumference (AC,cm) to the peritoneum depth. RESULTS: It was concluded the formula for calculating the satisfactory depth of individual insertion at Tianshu (ST 25), depth = -0.562 + 0.045 x AC. CONCLUSION: The depth of insertion, 1-2 millimeter through peritoneum at Tianshu (ST 25) is safe and feasible in acupuncture treatment, which can be used significantly as the reference and guidance for the assessment of clinical operation and safety on the deep puncturing of the other acupoints on the abdominal region.

Ecological risk assessment of genetically modified crops based on cellular automata modeling.

The assessment of ecological risk in genetically modified (GM) biological systems is critically important for decision-making and public acceptance. Cellular automata (CA) provide a potential modeling and simulation framework for representing relationships and interspecies interactions both temporally and spatially. In this paper, a simple subsystem contains only four species: crop, target pest, non-target pest and enemy insect, and a three layer arrangement of LxL stochastic cellular automata with a periodic boundary were established. The simulation of this simplified system showed abundant and sufficient complexity in population assembly and densities, suggesting a prospective application in ecological risk assessment of GM crops.

The safety of electroacupuncture at Hegu (LI 4) plus oxytocin for hastening uterine contraction of puerperants--a randomized controlled clinical observation.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the safety of electroacupuncture plus oxytocin for uterine contraction of puerperants. METHODS: 276 puerperants with difficult labor were randomly divided into a medication group, treated with intravenous dripping of oxytocin, and an acupuncture plus medication group, in the medication group, intravenous dripping of oxytocin was given, and in the other group, acupuncture at bilateral Hegu (LI 4) was added. Heart rate, respiratory frequency, blood pressure of puerperants, fetal heart rate and birth process were observed. RESULTS: During laboring, the indices observed, including heart rate, respiratory frequency, blood pressure, fetal heart rate and birth process, were all in normal range in all of the 276 cases, with better effects in acupuncture plus medication Group M. CONCLUSIONS: Electroacupuncture at bilateral Hegu (LI 4) plus intravenous dripping of oxytocin can intensify the uterine contraction, shorten the birth process to avoid probable systemic exhaustion due to excessive consumption, and with no side effects on life signs of the puerperants and newborns.
