RESUMO

Introduction: The aim of this cross-sectional study was to investigate the association between breakfast patterns and executive function among adolescents in Shanghai, China. Methods: In 2022, we randomly recruited 3,012 adolescents aged 12-13 years from all administrative districts in Shanghai. Breakfast information was collected by parents using a one-day recall method. Executive function was measured using the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function-Parent Version. Latent Class Analysis was performed to identify breakfast patterns based on the food groups in the Diet Quality Questionnaire for China. Results: Breakfast patterns were classified into three categories: "Egg and milk foods", "Grain foods", and "Abundant foods", except for adolescents who skipped breakfast. Logistic regression was used to estimate the multivariate odds ratio (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) for the association between breakfast patterns and potential executive dysfunction. Adolescents in the "Abundant foods" class had a lower risk of executive dysfunction in terms of initiate (OR: 0.36; 95% CI: 0.17-0.76), and organization of materials (OR: 0.18; 95% CI: 0.04-0.94), compared to those who skipped breakfast. Similarly, the breakfast patterns of "Grain foods" and "Egg and milk foods" were associated with a lower risk of executive dysfunction, including initiate and working memory. Discussion: Our findings suggest that breakfast patterns were associated with executive function. The improvement of breakfast patterns among adolescents should be a significant public health intervention.

RESUMO

Nitrogen permease regulator-like 3 (NPRL3) has been reported to play a role in seizure onset. The principal manifestation of NPRL3-related epilepsy is a range of epilepsy-associated syndromes, such as familial focal epilepsy with variable foci (FFEVF), sleep-related hypermotor epilepsy (SHE), and temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). The association between phenotype and genotype of NPRL3 mutations remains inadequately described. This study aimed to explore the phenotypic and genotypic spectra of NPRL3-related epilepsy. We reported two novel NPRL3 variants in two unrelated epilepsy cases, including a nonsense (c.1174C > T, p.Gln392*) and a missense variant (c.1322C > T, p.Thr441Met). Following a review of the literature, a total of 116 cases of NPRL3-related epilepsy were assessed, mostly with nonsense and frameshift mutations. Our findings suggest that patients harboring various NPRL3 variants exhibit variable clinical manifestations. In addition, it may be worthwhile to consider the existence of NPRL3 mutations in epilepsy patients with a family history. This study provides useful information for the treatment and prognosis by expanding the phenotypic and genotypic spectrum of NPRL3-related epilepsy. PLAIN LANGUAGE SUMMARY: This study expands the phenotypic and genotypic spectra of NPRL3-related epilepsy by reporting two cases with different novel variants. Following a review of the literature, it was observed that patients harboring various NPRL3 variants exhibited a variability of clinical manifestations. Also, patients carrying nonsense mutations are frequently prone to drug resistance and other severe comorbidities such as developmental delay, but more cases need to be collected to confirm these findings.

RESUMO

Purpose: Nutritional status is related to the clinical outcomes of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). The aim of this study was to investigate the association between nutritional status, measured by the prognostic nutritional index (PNI), and adverse hospitalization outcomes in patients with AECOPD. Methods: Consecutive AECOPD patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between January 1, 2015 to October 31, 2021 were enrolled. We collected the clinical characteristics and laboratory data of patients. Multivariable logistic regression models were developed to assess the relationship between the baseline PNI and adverse hospitalization outcomes. A generalized additive model (GAM) was used to identify any non-linear relationship. In addition, we performed a subgroup analysis to tested the robustness of the results. Results: A total of 385 AECOPD patients were involved in this retrospective cohort study. Based on the tertiles of PNI, patients in the lower tertiles of PNI showed more worse outcome incidence (30 [23.6%] versus 17 [13.2%] versus 8 [6.2%]; p < 0.001). Multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed that the PNI were independently associated with adverse hospitalization outcomes after adjustment for confounding factors (Odds ratio [OR] = 0.94, 95% CI: 0.91 to 0.97, P < 0.0001). After adjusting for confounders, smooth curve fitting showed a saturation effect, suggesting that the relationship between the PNI and adverse hospitalization outcomes was nonlinear. Two-piecewise linear regression model suggested that the incidence of adverse hospitalization outcomes significantly decreased with PNI level up to the inflection point (PNI = 42), and PNI was not associated with adverse hospitalization outcome after that point. Conclusion: Decreased PNI levels at admission were determined to be associated with adverse hospitalization outcomes in patients with AECOPD. The results obtained in this study may potentially assist clinicians optimize risk evaluations and clinical management processes.

RESUMO

Adolescence is a susceptible period to establish health-risk behaviors, which may have an impact on academic performance. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between health-risk behaviors (HRBs) and perceived academic performance (PAP) of adolescents in Shanghai, China. The data of the present study included three-round Shanghai Youth Health-risk Behavior Survey (SYHBS). This cross-sectional survey investigated multiple HRBs of students involved in dietary behaviors, physical activity and sedentary behaviors, intentional and unintentional injury behaviors, and substance abuse behaviors, as well as PAP by using self-reported questionnaire. Using a multistage random sampling method, 40,593 middle and high school students aged 12 to 18 years were involved. Only participants with complete data on HRBs information, academic performance and covariates were included. A total of 35,740 participants were involved in analysis. We used ordinal logistic regression to analyze the association between each HRB and PAP adjusting for sociodemographic, family environment and duration of extracurricular study. The results showed that students who did not eat breakfast or drink milk everyday were more likely to have a lower PAP, with a decreased odds of 0.89 (95%CI: 0.86-0.93, P<0.001) and 0.82 (95%CI: 0.79-0.85, P<0.001), respectively. The similar association was also found in students who did exercise ≥60 minutes for less than 5 days/week, spend time on watch TV beyond 3 hours/day and other sedentary behaviors. Most intentional and unintentional injuries, and ever smoked were associated with a lower PAP. Our finding suggests that multiple HRBs negatively associated with PAP of adolescents. It needs to raise public health concerns with HRBs in adolescents, and to develop and implement comprehensive interventions on HRBs.

RESUMO

Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is an autosomal recessive hereditary disease which leads to progressive muscle weakness and atrophy. Our systematic review and meta-analysis aims to explore the efficacy and safety of onasemnogene abeparvovec in SMA patients. We searched PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science and Cochrane through April 2022. Ten reports enrolling 250 SMA patients were included. CHOP INTEND and motor-milestone significant improvements were detected at both short- and long-term follow-up. Common adverse events included pyrexia, vomiting, thrombocytopenia and elevated aminotransferases. Thrombocytopenia (79.3%, 95%CI: 65.8~90.5) and elevated aminotransferases (71.7%, 95%CI: 62.5~80.1) were more common in SMA patients aged older than 8 months. Despite the paucity of randomized control trial data and low quality of evidence to establish the safety and efficacy of onasemnogene abeparvovec in the treatment of SMA, the data suggest that it is a valuable option for patients with this condition.

RESUMO

Objective@#To understand the prevalence and influencing factors of scoliosis among primary and middle school students in Shanghai, so as to provide reference for the prevention and control strategies of scoliosis in children and adolescents.@*Methods@#From September to December 2021, a total of 4 531 students from grade four of primary school to grade three of junior high school from 16 primary and middle schools in 4 districts of Shanghai were selected by multi stage stratified cluster sampling to carry out scoliosis screening and questionnaire survey. Independent sample t-test, Chi-squared test, Fisher s exact probability method and nonparametric Mann Whitney U-test were used for statistical analysis, and multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of scoliosis.@*Results@#The on the spot detection rate of scoliosis abnormality was 7.4% and the prevalence was 2.2%, mainly for thoracolumbar scoliosis (60.4%) and the scoliosis angle of 10° -<20°(88.1%). The results showed that the detection rate of scoliosis in boys was 1.6% and in girls was 3.3%, with a statistically significant difference ( χ 2=11.84, P < 0.01). There were significant differences in weight and BMI between scoliosis students and students with negative initial screening( t = -3.77, -5.30, P <0.01). And there was a statistically significant difference in the detection rate of scoliosis with different frequency of classroom seating arrangements ( Z =2.02, P <0.05). The results of multivariate Logistic regression showed that the risk of scoliosis in girls was higher than that in boys ( OR =1.87, 95% CI =1.21-2.88). BMI ( OR =0.89, 95% CI =0.83-0.95) and frequency of classroom seating arrangements ( OR =0.49, 95% CI =0.25-0.93) were correlated with lower rate of scoliosis. After stratification by sex, the frequency of classroom seating arrangements ( OR =0.26, 95% CI =0.10-0.67) in boys and the educational stage ( OR =2.35, 95% CI =1.26-4.41) in girls ( P <0.05) was correlated with higher rate of scoliosis, while BMI ( OR =0.86, 95% CI =0.79-0.94) in girls were correlated with lower rate of scoliosis.@*Conclusion@#Regular screening of scoliosis is an effective method for early detection of scoliosis. Girls in junior high school and low BMI should be paid close attention to. According to the occurrence and influencing factors of scoliosis, comprehensive prevention and control based on family, school, society, and other aspects can be carried out.

RESUMO

Objective@#To understand the prevalence and trend of diet related behaviors among secondary school students in Shanghai, and to provide a scientific basis for developing appropriate health education strategies.@*Methods@#Anonymous questionnaire surveys were conducted among 71 291 students selected by multi stage stratified cluster sampling method from junior high schools, senior high schools and vocational schools in Shanghai in the year of 2008,2012,2015,2017,2019. The questionnaire adopted was "Shanghai adolescent health related behavior questionnaire". Test for trend test were applied for the analysis of the prevalence of their dietary behaviors.@*Results@#The proportion of middle school students nutritional status within the normal range in each survey year were 73.40 %, 72.60%, 68.06%, 68.73%, 67.53%, respectively, while the rate of overweight and obesity increased from 13.17% in 2008 to 23.73% in 2019. The proportion of "eating fried food" decreased significantly by year, from 12.05 % to 4.23% (male, APC=-7.94%, t =-4.33, female, APC= -9.29%, t=-7.71, P <0.05) respectively. And the proportion of "eating dessert" also decreased significantly by year, from 31.66% to 11.14% (male, APC=-8.41%, t =-6.37, female, APC=-8.67%, t=-6.96, P <0.05). In the five surveys, the percentages of healthy diet related behaviors of secondary school students were 12.81%-21.82%, no significant upward trend was observed in the whole( P >0.05). The proportion of diet-related behaviors of nutrition unbalance and easily leading to obesity decreased significantly from 35.47% to 17.00%(APC=-6.71%, t= -5.00 , P <0.05). The proportion of diet related behavior of nutrition unbalance and not easily leading to obesity increased significantly from 39.15% to 60.16%(APC=3.46%, t=6.18, P <0.05).@*Conclusion@#Overweight and obesity among secondary school students in Shanghai are increasing during the past decade, and the proportion of healthy dietary behaviors is low. The knowledge of rational diet should be publicized among these students in order to develop healthy dietary behaviors.

RESUMO

Intercropping often substantially increases phosphorus (P) availability to plants compared with monocropping, which could be an effective strategy for soil legacy P recovery and agricultural production. However, the biogeochemical interactions among plants, microbes, and soil that mobilize P remain largely unknown in intercropping systems. Pot experiments with maize-soybean intercropping in a calcareous soil were conducted to investigate the potential chemical and biological transformation mechanisms of inorganic P (Pi) and organic P (Po) using sequential extraction and Illumina MiSeq sequencing. Compared to monocropping of each crop, maize-soybean intercropping significantly enhanced total P uptake of the two crops by mobilizing Ca2-Pi [extracted by bicarbonate (NaHCO3)], Al-Pi/Po [extracted by ammonium fluoride (NH4F)] and Fe-Pi [extracted by sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate (NaOH-Na2CO3)] fractions. Furthermore, there were significant increases in the organic carbon content and alkaline phosphomonoesterase (ALP) and phosphodiesterase (PDE) activities as well as the abundances of Microvirga, Lysobacter, Microlunatus and Sphingomonas under maize-soybean intercropping relative to monocropping. In contrast, compared to monocroppping, no significant change in the soil pH was observed under maize-soybean intercropping. Therefore, the enhanced P uptake of the maize-soybean intercropping probably resulted from a synergistic effect of rhizosphere organic carbon deposit, increased activities of ALP and PDE, together with the bacteria (Microvirga, Lysobacter, Microlunatus and Sphingomonas) which showed correlation with soil P forms, while the generally recognized rhizosphere acidification was excluded in this investigated calcareous soil. Moreover, the selected bacterial genera exhibited a closer network in the rhizosphere of soybean compared to maize, suggesting enhanced interactions among bacteria in the soybean rhizosphere. These results provide theoretical bases for the recovery of soil legacy P by maize-soybean intercropping.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Since December 2019, the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a global pandemic. Currently, the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing. What changes have taken place in the obesity and obesity-related lifestyle behaviours of adolescents during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic? OBJECTIVE: This study aims at analysing the changes in obesity and lifestyle behaviours of Chinese adolescents before and 1 year after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing evidence for the global strategies to respond to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent obesity. METHODS: Physical examinations and student health and influencing factors questionnaires were conducted among 6047 adolescents aged 11-16 years by health professionals in Shanghai, China, before the COVID-19 pandemic (September-November of 2019) and 1 year after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic (September-November of 2020). Paired χ2 tests, paired t-tests or Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to evaluate the changes in the obesity prevalence, BMI and lifestyle behaviours from 2019 to 2020. RESULTS: 1 year after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the obesity prevalence of Chinese adolescents rose from 14.2% to 15.4% (p < 0.01), mainly because of the increase in boys. And the average BMI increased from 20.3 to 21.2 kg/m2 (p < 0.01). Their lifestyle behaviours have also significantly changed. The mobile screen time increased from 0.25-1.50 h/day to 0.33-2.00 h/day (p < 0.01). The proportion of adolescents who participated in MVPA for ≥60 min/day on all 7 days during the past week dropped from 14.4% to 11.7% (p < 0.01). The generalized estimation equation analysis indicated that adolescents who participated in MVPA for ≥60 min/day on all 7 days had a lower likelihood of having obesity. Boys with computer time ≥2 h/day and girls with mobile screen time ≥2 h/day or TV time ≥2 h/day had a higher likelihood of having obesity. CONCLUSION: This study found that 1 year after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the BMI and obesity prevalence of Chinese adolescents increased and obesity-related lifestyle behaviours have also changed.

RESUMO

Objective@#To analyze the trends of smoking and drinking behaviors among adolescents in Shanghai from 2004 to 2019, and to provide theoretical evidence for effective tobacco and alcohol interventions among adolescents.@*Methods@#Data regarding smoking and drinking behaviors from adolescent health risk behavior surveillance program in Shanghai from 2004 to 2019 were collected, and the prevalence of ever smoking, current smoking, ever drinking and current drinking were comparatively analyzed.@*Results@#The prevalence of ever smoking, current smoking, ever drinking and current drinking among boys were significantly higher than those among girls in 2004 to 2019( χ 2=58.20-347.44, P <0.01). Except the prevalence of ever drinking in 2012, the prevalence of ever smoking, current smoking, ever drinking and current drinking in vocational school students were the highest in each survey( χ 2=111.19-1 196.61, P <0.01). From 2004 to 2019, the standardized rates of smoking and drinking of boys and girls showed a downward trend ( APC =-6.20--1.80, P <0.05). The standardized ever smoking rate and the standardized ever drinking rate of both boys and girls declined significantly from 2004 to 2019( APC=-5.00, -1.80, P <0.05). The overall standardized rate of ever smoking decreased from 21.02% in 2004 to 12.23% in 2019, and that of ever drinking decreased from 60.52% in 2004 to 47.17 % in 2019). However, the overall standardized rates of current smoking and current drinking did not reach statistically significance( P >0.05).@*Conclusion@#From 2014 to 2019,the prevalence of ever smoking and ever drinking among adolescents in Shanghai over the observed period showed a declining trend by years, but there was no significant change in current smoking and current drinking among adolescents. Specific interventions targeting on smoking and drinking behaviors among adolescents need to be strengthened.

RESUMO

Objective@#To explore the relationship between myopia and nutritional status among upper elementary students in Shanghai.@*Methods@#A stratified cluster sampling method was used to select 5 576 fourth and fifth grade students from 16 districts in Shanghai, vision test, physical examination and questionnaire survey were administered. Two level multivariate Logistic regression and mixed linear models were used to analyze the relationship between myopia, spherical equivalent (SE) and nutritional status.@*Results@#The detection rates of overweight and obesity were 17.0%(949) and 18.7%(1 042), respectively. There was a statistical difference in the proportion of the nutritional status in boys and girls( χ 2=210.94, P <0.01), with overweight and obesity in boys higher than those of girls. The overweight boys were more likely to have myopia (univariate analysis: OR=1.23, P =0.04; multivariate analysis: OR=1.21, P =0.06) than the normal weight boy. Overweight students tended to had more negative refractive than those with normal weight in both boys and girls(multivariate analysis, boys: β =-0.19, girls: β=-0.24, P <0.05). Myopia risk and refractive power in obese students showed no statistical difference with normal weight students( P >0.05).@*Conclusion@#Overweight students have lower SE than the normal weight among upper elementary students of Shanghai, more researches are needed to confirm this finding and to provide theoretical bases for myopia prevention and control.

RESUMO

Objective@#To analyze myopia related factors among students in Shanghai, to explore associated risky behaviors associated with mild, moderate, high myopia,so as to provide the evidence for the implementation of home and school combination intervention measures.@*Methods@#Six primary and secondary schools (2 primary schools, 2 middle schools and 2 high schools) were selected from each district of Shanghai. The primary schools began to investigate from the fourth grade. All the students in the selected classes participated in the vision test and questionnaire survey. Chi square test was used for categorical data analysis. The relationship between myopia and related behaviors was analyzed by multivariate Logistic analysis.@*Results@#The prevalence of visual-related risky behaviors such as short outdoor time during the day, lack of sleep, long after-school reading and writing time, poor reading and writing posture, and longtime-using mobile electronic screen was higher in girls than in boys (P<0.05), boys were more likely than girls to use computer for long time and read books/electronic screen in sunlight (P<0.05). The group with 3 hours or more than of reading and writing compared with the less than 2 hours, the OR value of mild myopia model was 1.31(1.20-1.44), moderate myopia model was 1.78(1.62-1.96), severe myopia model was 2.37(2.07-2.71). In the model of moderate and high myopia, reading and writing posture, frequency of eye relax, outdoor activity time and watching TV time were also included.@*Conclusion@#The prevalence of myopia related behaviors among primary and secondary school students is high, and there are significant gender differences among different behaviors. Students reading and writing time should be strictly controlled after school. Intervention strategies and measures should be carried out according to the characteristics of different ages and genders.

RESUMO

Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is a potentially curative treatment for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative neoplasms (MDS/MPN). However, post-HSCT relapse remains a major cause of treatment failure. Here we assessed the efficacy of a new conditioning regimen comprising decitabine (Dec), busulfan (Bu), cyclophosphamide (Cy), fludarabine (Flu), and cytarabine (Ara-c) for allo-HSCT in patients with MDS and MDS/MPN. A total of 48 patients were enrolled, including 44 with MDS and 4 with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). Patients received Dec 20 mg/m2/day on days -9 to -5, combined with a Bu/Cy/Flu/Ara-c-modified preparative regimen. At a median follow-up of 522 days (range, 15 to 1313 days), the overall survival (OS) was 86%, relapse incidence was 12%, and nonrelapse mortality was 12%. The incidence of severe acute (grade III-IV) graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) was 23% and that of chronic GVHD was 15%. At 2 years, OS was 74% and 86%, respectively for high-risk and very-high-risk patients with MDS. Survival was promising in patients with poor-risk gene mutations, such as TP53 and ASXL1 (88%), and in those with ≥3 gene mutations (79%). Results of immunomonitoring studies revealed that proper natural killer cells made essential contributions to these favorable clinical outcomes. Overall, this new regimen was associated with a low relapse rate, low incidence and severity of GVHD, and satisfactory survival in allo-HSCT recipients with MDS and MDS/MPN.

RESUMO

Objective@#To understand the influencing factors and family burden of bicycle injury among middle school students in Shanghai for bicycle injury prevention.@*Methods@#Based on 1∶2 matched case-control design, students who were injured when cycling were selected from Shanghai student injury case reporting system during Sept. 2017 to Dec. 2018 as the case group. The same-sex control was selected from the same grade in the same school with the case. A total of 61 cases and 122 control were selected. Self-reported questionnaires were conducted by parents of children. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of bicycle injury.@*Results@#Poor eyesight (OR=2.27, 95%CI=1.02-5.07), lots of intersections near the residence (OR=2.00, 95%CI=1.00-3.98), and lots of cyclists near the residence (OR=2.15, 95%CI=1.06-4.36) were positively correlated with bicycle injuries among middle school students. About 34.43% and 8.20% of parents reckon bicycle injuries had a moderate impact on family economic, daily activities and recreational activities. Among the students with bicycle injury, 70.49% of the students were absent from school because of illness, and 36.07% of their parents missed work because of illness. The average absence time for school and working were 10.79 days and 3.03 days respectively. The total economic loss caused by the lack of work was 84 950 yuan, with an average of 1 393 yuan.@*Conclusion@#Bicycle injury of middle school students in Shanghai causes certain family burden. Poor eyesight, lots of intersections near the residence, lots of cyclists near the residence are positively correlated with bicycle injuries among middle school students.

RESUMO

Objective@#To assess the changes of students’ hand washing behaviors after implementing comprehensive interventions, and to provide the reference for hand-washing promotion among students.@*Methods@#The implementation of comprehensive intervention projects had been carried out in three aspects: hardware transformation, system establishment, health management and health education. A randomized controlled trial method was used to select each one primary and secondary school in 2016 from 17 districts in Shanghai, and 17 intervention schools and 17 control schools were taken as object. Non-participant observation was used for students’ hand washing behaviors for 4 times during May, 2016 to May, 2017. Descriptive analysis and chi square test were used to analyze the data.@*Results@#Compared with the control group, the hand washing rate of the intervention group was lower than that of the control group at baseline. The intervention group has got a higher rate than that of the control group in the evaluation of 1, the assessment 2 and the assessment 3 after intervention. The difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.70, 24.23, 38.88, 21.71, P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the hand washing rate of the intervention group after class was lower than that of the control group. After the intervention, the rate of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group in the evaluation 1, the assessment 2 and the assessment 3 after the intervention. The difference was statistically significant (χ2=8.52, 33.79, 54.64, 13.99, P<0.05). Compared with the control group, there was no difference between the baseline intervention group and the control group before meals. The intervention group after intervention was higher than the control group in the evaluation of 1, evaluation 2 and evaluation 3. The difference was statistically significant (χ2=45.01, 42.19, 27.82, P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#After comprehensive intervention, the effect was significant under different temperature conditions, and the effect of intervention lasted for one year.

RESUMO

Objective@#To evaluate the effects of physical activity interventions based on social ecology model, and to explore promising approach for increasing physical activity of students in large cities.@*Methods@#A quasi-experimental design with parallel control was implemented. Students from grade 4 in 20 primary schools in 3 districts of Shanghai were recruited. Based on social ecology model, physical activity interventions were carried out in three levels: personal, social-and physical environment. The interventions lasted for 6 months. Questionnaires, physical examinations and physical fitness tests were carried out. Rank sum test, chi-square test and logistic stepwise regression was used to analyze the intervention effects.@*Results@#In the intervention group, the proportion of students who favored physical activity increased from 47.9% to 50.7%. Time spent in moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity (MVPA) increased from 64 min/d to 70 min/d, mainly during the weekend. The interventions showed significant effects, especially for girls. In the intervention group, the proportion of students spent 1 h/d in MVPA increased from 53.7% to 57.7%(χ2=4.95, P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that after intervention, the proportion of students spent more than 1 h/d in MVPA in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group (OR=1.22, 95%CI=1.02-1.48, P=0.03).@*Conclusion@#Physical activity interventions based on social ecology model can increase uptake of physical activity among school students.
