RESUMO

The global manufacturing landscape is undergoing a profound shift, and the paradigm of service-led industrial evolution has taken on paramount importance. Service-oriented manufacturing has emerged as a pivotal conduit for the transformation and elevation of China's sporting goods manufacturing sector. However, we acknowledge that the current state of service-oriented transformation in this sector is still in an embryonic phase. The nuanced interplay between the level of servitization and its consequent impact on corporate performance, along with the intricate forms of interference exerted by various factors in the process of servitization, are shrouded in ambiguity. This article, which is predicated upon the financial disclosures of China's sporting goods manufacturing enterprises listed on the A-share and New Third Board markets, presents a rigorous investigation. Through the construction of an imbalanced panel dataset covering the period of 2007 to 2022, we embark on an empirical journey examining the intricacies of a moderated mediation model to ascertain the mechanisms underlying the influence of servitization on the performance of sporting goods manufacturing entities. Through this research, we unearth a compelling revelation: (1) Within the cohort of sampled enterprises, an elevation of servitization evokes a modest suppressive effect on corporate performance, thus resulting in the enigmatic "servitization paradox." (2) A total of 29.1% of the servitization impact on enterprise performance is achieved through marketing intensity; that is, there is a partial mediating effect of marketing intensity on the relationship between servitization and enterprise performance. (3) Market power play a negative regulatory role in this relationship, which drives the servitization paradox in sporting goods manufacturing but can also promote the positive impact of servitization on marketing intensity. In addition, with the expansion of market power, corporate servitization does not need to impact corporate performance through marketing activities. (4) R&D intensity negatively affects the relationship between marketing intensity and corporate performance, promotes the inhibitory effect of marketing intensity on corporate performance, and aggravates the inhibitory effect of servitization on corporate performance through marketing intensity.

Under the leadership of China's "dual-carbon" goal, clarifying the interaction between the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and the sports industry is an important guarantee to promote the structural upgrading of China's sports industry and achieve low-carbon development. Therefore, a panel vector autoregression (PVAR) model is constructed based on the panel data of 15 provinces in China from 2014 to 2020 to investigate the interaction between the three. It is found that (1) every 1-unit increase in the level of digital economy in the lagged period can cause a 0.008-unit increase in the level of AI application in the current period at the 10% significance level, i.e., the digital economy has a short-term and weakly facilitating effect on AI. (2) Every 1 unit of digital economy level in the lagging period can cause 9.539 units of value added to the sports industry at a 1% significance level. That is, the digital economy has a short-term but strong enhancing effect on the development of the sports industry. (3) Their internal driving force mainly drives the development of digital economy and artificial intelligence, and the self-contribution rate is 72.7% and 91.5% respectively. In contrast, the self-driving force of the sports industry is weaker, and the self-contribution rate is only 68.2%. (4) The contribution rate of the digital economy and artificial intelligence to the development of the sports industry is 12.3% and 19.6% respectively, i.e., the sports industry is more affected by the degree of application of artificial intelligence than the level of development of digital economy.

Herein, we report a novel iodine(III)-mediated intramolecular dearomative spirocyclization of indole derivatives to generate highly strained spirocyclobutyl, spirocyclopentyl, and spirocyclohexyl indolenines in moderate to good yields. A set of structurally novel, densely functionalized spiroindolenines with broad functional group compatibility was efficiently constructed in this way under mild reaction conditions. Moreover, the ß-enamine ester as a versatile functional group in the product provides great convenience for the synthesis of bioactive compounds and related natural products.

Evaluating the impact of health insurance always remains a methodologically challenging endeavor due to the absence of sample randomization. This paper evaluates the impact of health insurance on the health status of children in Pakistan using the data of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) for Punjab, Pakistan, from 2017 to 2018. The study adopted the propensity score matching (PSM) method to address the sample selection bias. The sample is matched on potential covariates such as mother characteristics (education level), household head characteristics (gender, age, and education), and other household conditions (such as home dwelling, internet access, wealth index, migration member, number of children residing in the home, as child illness, etc.). The findings revealed that children with insurance have considerably better health than non-insured, at a 1% significance level. The results confirm that health insurance is not a luxury but a need that improves children's overall health. In this regard, governments should enhance and expand programs related to health insurance, especially for children. Health insurance programs will not only help poor people but also improve the overall infrastructure of health services in the country.

The development of analytical method for selective and sensitive detection of gossypol (Gsp), an extraction from the cotton plants, is important but still challenging in food safety and medical field. Herein, we reported a turn-on near infrared (NIR) fluorescence detection strategy for Gsp based on a metal-organic framework (MOF), QBA-Yb, which was prepared from 4,4'-(quinolone-5, 8-diyl) benzoate with Yb(NO3)3·5H2O by solvothermal synthesis. The Gsp acted as another "antenna" to sensitize the luminescence of Yb3+, leading to the turn-on NIR emission upon 467 nm excitation. As Gsp concentration increased, the NIR emission at 973 nm enhanced gradually, thus enabling highly sensitive Gsp detection in a turn-on way. The experiment and theoretical calculation results revealed the presence of strong hydrogen bonds between Gsp molecules and the MOF skeleton. The developed QBA-Yb probe showed excellent characteristics for detection of Gsp molecules, accompanied by wide linear range (5-160 µg/mL), low detection limit (0.65 µg/mL) and short response time (within 10 min). We have further demonstrated that the QBA-Yb probe was successfully applied for the determination of Gsp in real samples of cottonseeds.

Photochromic materials are constructed with molecules accompanied by structural change after triggering by light, which are of great importance and necessity for various applications. However, because of space-confinement effects, molecule stacking of these photoresponsive chromophores within coordination polymers (CPs) always results in an efficiency decrement and a response delay, and this phenomenon will lead to a poor photochromic property. Herein, a CP (named CIT-E) with a 3-fold-interpenetrating network structure, which was prepared with (Z)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-bis[4-(pyridin-3-ylmethoxy)phenyl]ethene (1Z) and a CuI cluster, showed fast reversible photochromic behavior. Under UV-light illumination, the color of CIT-Z changed from pale yellow to reddish brown. With the illumination of green light, the polymer could return to its initial color within 10 s. To reveal the mechanism of reversible photochromic behavior of CIT-Z, single-crystal structures of each color state were fully studied, and other scientific study methods were also used, such as time-dependent density functional theory calculation and control experiments. It was found that, with light illumination, this behavior of CIT-Z was the result of a ligand-to-metal charge-transfer process, and this process was triggered by subtle molecular conformation variation of tetraphenylethylene. It should be noted that CIT-Z has high thermal and chemical stability, which are excellent advantages as smart photoresponsive materials. As a proof of concept, a uniform thin film with such a fascinating photochromic property allows applications in invisible anticounterfeiting and dynamic optical data storage. Overall, the present study opens up a new avenue toward reversible photochromic materials.

A reasonable synthesis design by strategically integrating functional group manipulation into the ring system construction resulted in a short, enantioselective, gram-scale total synthesis of (-)-zephyranthine. The concise route includes a catalytic Michael/Michael cascade for the asymmetric synthesis of a penta-substituted cyclohexane with three contiguous stereogenic centers, a remarkable 8-step one-pot operation to easily assemble the zephyranthine tetracyclic skeleton, the regioselective construction of a double bond in the C ring and an asymmetric dihydroxylation. This synthesis is also flexible and paves a potential path to a variety of cyclohexylamine-fused tricyclic or polycyclic alkaloids.

Depending on the strategy of "Healthy China", more and more people pay attention to health issues. The integration and development of sports industry and health service industry is an inevitable outcome of industrial transformation and upgrading and healthy life in the new era. Through constructing the evaluation index system of the coupling and coordination development degree between sports industry and health service industry, using entropy evaluation method and coupling and coordination degree model, this paper explore the comprehensive level and coupling and coordination development status of sports industry and health service industry in thirty-one provinces, municipality cities and autonomous regions of China from 2013 to 2017. The results of this paper show that the comprehensive China's sports industry and health service industry both present an incremental development trend year by year, and are characterized by the distribution of "high in the east and low in the west" in space. The government's policy support provides superior industrial supporting conditions for the development of sports industry. However, it is not conducive to the promotion of industrial economic benefits. In the health service industry, the rapid development of health insurance is beneficial to the integration of industrial resources and the perfection of industrial chain. Whereas as the core content of health service industry, health service has greater space for development; the coupling and coordination degree between the two industries rises from mild maladjustment to basic coordination, which is characterized by the distribution of "high in the east and low in the west" in space; among provinces, with Beijing, the Yangtze River Delta and Guangdong as the three development center points, it shows the spatial evolutionary process from "dispersion-type plaques" to "gathering type scattered surfaces".

The development of a facile synthesis and controllable layer stacking approach for covalent organic frameworks (COFs) is an important issue for modulating their properties and realizing their application diversity. Herein, three COF isomers with different stacking models (eclipsed AA, staggered AB, and ABC stacking) were obtained by modulating the reaction temperature and solvent medium. Experimental and theoretical calculations show that the ABC stacking isomer obtained at room temperature is the kinetic product, while the AA stacking isomer prepared by the solvothermal method is a thermodynamic product. Owing to the tautomerism involved in the reaction process, these isomers possess different ratios of enol and keto forms. Thus, they exhibit different generation efficiencies of Type I and Type II reactive oxygen species (ROS). The ABC stacking isomers could be employed as metal-free heterogeneous photocatalysts for visible-light-induced oxidation of amines to imines, owing to the highest generation efficiency of Type I ROS.

The spillover effect of environmental behavior has been of wide concern in recent years. The purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of household waste sorting on green consumption (behavioral spillover) and the possible psychological mechanisms involved in such spillover of environmental concern. Though it is important, insufficient attention has been paid to exploring the relationship, and the process of its formation, between waste sorting and green consumption. To narrow this gap, survey data collected in 2018 from 688 rural households from Shaanxi Province in western China were used. The propensity score matching method was employed to measure the effect of waste sorting on rural households' green consumption. The mediating model was employed to investigate the path of influence in the relationship between waste sorting and green consumption. The results showed that waste sorting behavior positively spilled over into green consumption, with a net effect of 0.205. Environmental concern has a mediating effect on the relationship between waste sorting and green consumption behavior, with a mediating effect of 0.3177. In summary, household waste sorting behavior has a spillover effect on green consumption behavior as a result of the mediation effect of environmental concern. The results of this article fill in our knowledge on the spillover effects of waste sorting behavior in developing countries. Policy makers and regulators should vigorously advocate and implement waste sorting behavior, increase farmers' concern for the environment, and promote their participation in green consumption behavior, so as to maximize the spillover effect.

Jiaji Duck (JJ) is a Muscovy duck species that possesses many superior characteristics, and it has become an important genetic resource in China. However, to date, its genetic characteristics and genetic relationship with other duck breeds have not been explored yet, which greatly limits the utilization of JJ. In the present study, we investigated the genome sequences of 15 individual ducks representing five different duck populations, including JJ, French Muscovy duck (FF), mallard (YD), hong duck (HD) and Beijing duck (BD). Moreover, we investigated the characteristics of JJ-specific single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and compared the genome sequences of JJ vs. YD and JJ vs. BD using integrated strategies, including mutation detection, selective screening, and Gene Ontology (GO) analysis. More than 40 Gb of clean data were obtained for each population (mean coverage of 13.46 Gb per individual). A total number of 22,481,367 SNPs and 4,156,829 small insertion-deletions (Indels) were identified for the five duck populations, which could be used as molecular markers in breeding and utilization of JJ. Moreover, we identified 1,447,932 JJ-specific SNPs, and found that genes covering at least one JJ-specific SNP mainly involved in protein phosphorylation and dephosphorylation, as well as DNA modification. Phylogenetic tree and principal components analysis (PCA) revealed that the genetic relationship of JJ was closest to FF, while it was farthest to BD. A total of 120 and 111 genes were identified as positive selection genes for JJ vs. BD and JJ vs. YD, respectively. GO and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses showed that the positive selection genes for JJ vs. BD ducks mainly involved in pigmentation, muscle contraction and stretch, gland secretion, and immunology, while the positive selection genes obtained from JJ vs. YD ducks mainly involved in embryo development, muscle contraction and stretch, and gland secretion. Taken together, our findings enabled us to better understand the characteristics of JJ and provided a molecular basis for the breeding and hybrid utilization of JJ in the future.

Single-cells coated with functional shells to protect them from external harsh condition have great potential applications in many fields such as tissue engineering, cell-based devices, cell biology, and so on. Herein, copper metal organic polyhedron (Cu-MOP) hydrogel has been applied as a soft shell for cell protection under both physical and chemical stimulations. Compared with a previous strategy, this MOP-Gel shell not only possesses more satisfied protection effect but also could be prepared and removed facilely without any damage to the encapsulated cells.

Wounds infected by bacteria are dangerous for human beings. However, along with the emergence of new strains and strong bacterial resistance, traditional antibiotics are unable to meet the medical needs for treating bacterial infections. Thus, new antibacterial substances with superior antimicrobial properties are urgently needed. Herein, a hydrogel containing poly acrylic acid (PAA), glycerol and Cu-MOP (named PAA-Cu-MOP hydrogel) is obtained by a facile mixing and ultrasonic procedure for wound healing treatment. This PAA-Cu-MOP hydrogel with high biocompatibility exhibits excellent wound healing behavior and is even better than the one of recombinant human epidermal growth factor. Tissue experiment results reveal that the PAA-Cu-MOP hydrogel accelerates the wound healing process by promoting angiogenesis, stimulating cell proliferation, and up-regulating cell factors.

The diseases of human blood vessels are closely associated with local mechanical variations. A better understanding of the quantitative correlation in mechanical environment between the current mechano-biological studies and vascular physiological or pathological conditions in vivo is crucial for evaluating numerous existing results and exploring new factors for disease discovery. In this study, six representative human blood vessels with known experimental measurements were selected, and their stress and strain variations in vessel walls under different blood pressures were analyzed based on nonlinear elastic theory. The results suggest that conventional mechano-biological experiments seeking the different biological expressions of cells at high/low mechanical loadings are ambiguous as references for studying vascular diseases, because distinct "site-specific" characteristics appear in different vessels. The present results demonstrate that the inner surface of the vessel wall does not always suffer the most severe stretch under high blood pressures comparing to the outer surface. Higher tension on the outer surface of aortas supports the hypothesis of the outside-in inflammation dominated by aortic adventitial fibroblasts. These results indicate that cellular studies at different mechanical niches should be "disease-specific" as well. The present results demonstrate considerable stress gradients across the wall thickness, which indicate micro-scale mechanical variations existing around the vascular cells, and imply that the physiological or pathological changes are not static processes confined within isolated regions, but are coupled with dynamic cell behaviors such as migration. The results suggest that the stress gradients, as well as the mechanical stresses and strains, are key factors constituting the mechanical niches, which may shed new light on "factor-specific" experiments of vascular cell mechano-biology.

A series of silver coordination polymers (CPs) have been synthesized through self-assembly of three pyridinecarboxylic acid hydrazide (p-, m-, o-position) ligands with silver clusters (named Ag1-iah, Ag2-iah, and Ag3-iah). These silver CPs show different one- and two-dimensional topologies including cross-helical chains, planar network, and parallel helical chains for Ag1-iah, Ag2-iah, and Ag3-iah, respectively. The combination of experimental and computational results reveals the critical role in the space distribution of the coordination site of silver clusters and ligands in controlling the silver CPs' dimensionality and packing arrangement and modulating the optical properties and stability. Luminescent investigations reveal that Ag3-iah can selectively detect dichloromethane or trichloromethane in tetrachloromethane. These silver CPs provide a good model to study the influence of the space distribution of the coordination site of ligands on their packing arrangement and properties.

Rational design of controllable drug release systems is important for tumor treatments due to the nonspecific toxicity of many chemotherapeutics. Herein, laser or light responsive pharmaceutical delivery nanoparticles are designed, by taking the advantages of redox responsive selenium (Se) substituted polymer as shell and photosensitive porphyrin zirconium metal-organic frameworks (MOF) as core. In detail, redox cleavable di-(1-hydroxylundecyl) selenide (DH-Se), biocompatible poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), and poly(propylene glycol) (PPG) are randomly polymerized to form poly(DH-Se/PEG/PPG urethane), which is used to coat the reactive oxygen species' (ROS) producible porous porphyrin zirconium metal organization formulation (PCN-224 MOF) to form the final poly(DH-Se/PEG/PPG urethane)@MOF shell-core nanoparticle with spherical shape by emulsion approach. Interestingly, poly(DH-Se/PEG/PPG urethane)@MOF nanoparticles with loading of chemotherapeutic doxorubicin (DOX) experience a fast and controllable release, which can realize the combination of chemotherapy and photodynamic therapy upon irradiation with laser light, due to the light-triggered ROS production by MOF which further causes the cleavage of poly(DH-Se/PEG/PPG urethane) polymer chain and the release of encapsulated DOX. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first design of utilizing MOF and selenium substituted polymer as controllable drug release carriers, which might be beneficial for precise chemotherapy and photodynamic therapy combination.

Over the last decade, the controllable reversible phase transition of functional materials has received growing interest as it shows unique suitability for various technological applications. Although many metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) possess a lamellar structure, the reversible structural transformation of MOFs between their three-dimensional (3D) phase and two-dimensional (2D) phase remains a largely unexplored area. Herein, we report for the first time a europium MOF with unprecedented reversible morphology in different solvents at room temperature. This europium MOF displayed a 3D nanorod morphology in organic solvent and a 2D nanobelt architecture in water. As a proof of concept for potential applications of this reversible-phase-transition MOF, we were able to use a delamination recovery method to load dye molecules that previously could not be loaded into europium MOFs.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are a class of crystalline porous materials utilized in various potential applications. However, the development of hollow-structured COFs with defined morphology is important for their further applications, which is rare. Herein, COF with unique hollow shuttle morphology was prepared by a Schiff condensation reaction between 4-(4-aldehyde phenyl)ethylene (TPE) and tetra-(4-aminophenyl) porphyrin (TAP). A detailed mechanistic investigation reveals that an initial self-assembly followed by a similar inside-out Ostwald ripening process is responsible for the hollow capsule formation. The hollow microshuttle-shaped capsule COF is used for studying hemoglobin adsorption, which shows an uptake of 550.82 mg g-1 of hemoglobin. These studies could foreshadow new avenues for the development of porous materials with defined morphologies for the adsorption of biomolecules.

Blood vessels often experience torsion along their axes and it is essential to understand their biological responses and wall remodeling under torsion. To this end, a rat model was developed to investigate the arterial wall remodeling under sustained axial twisting in vivo. Rat carotid arteries were twisted at 180° along the longitudinal axis through a surgical procedure and maintained for different durations up to 4weeks. The wall remodeling in these twisted arteries was examined using histology, immunohistochemistry and fluorescent microscopy. Our data showed that arteries remodeled under twisting in a time-dependent manner during the 4weeks post-surgery. Cell proliferation, MMP-2 and MMP-9 expressions, medial wall thickness and lumen diameter increased while collagen to elastin ratio decreased. The size and number of internal elastic lamina fenestrae increased with elongated shapes, while the endothelial cells elongated and aligned towards the blood flow direction gradually. These results demonstrated that sustained axial twisting results in artery remodeling in vivo. The rat carotid artery twisting model is an effective in vivo model for studying arterial wall remodeling under long-term torsion. These results enrich our understanding of vascular biology and arterial wall remodeling under mechanical stresses.
