Semantic extension to DICOM standard / 生物医学工程学杂志

The Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Standard was developed by National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the American College of Radiology (ACR) for medical image archiving and communication. The Standard is widely used in medicine now. But it does not define image semantic content sufficiently, so there is a difficulty in the implementation based on semantic content. In this article are discussed the semantic hierarchy structure in medical image and the method to describe the image content used in the DICOM Standard. We point out the limitations of DICOM in image semantic content description, and then set forth a way to extend the semantic content description by using DICOM private attributes.

The CORBA solution of medical imaging and communication system / 生物医学工程学杂志

Due to the difficulty of communication and information share between Medical information systems, the Object Management Group issued the software specification of CORBAMed, defining the interfaces of services, and specifying the software architecture of Medical Information System. This paper attempts to use CORBA in Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), provides a system model of CORBA solution of PACS, and analyzes the view layers structure of system, finally we discuss the related services of CORBAMed.

Development of the ultrasonic characterization of biological tissue elasticity / 生物医学工程学杂志

The variation of tissue elasticity or stiffness is related with diseases of tissue, so the characterization of tissue elasticity is important to diagnosis. There are four methods for ultrasonic characterization of tissue elasticity: imaging inspection techniques, vibration velocity measurements, quasi-static strain measurements and parametric methods. The theories of the method of vibration velocity measurements and the method of quasi-static strain measurements and their new developments are discussed in this paper. The applications and the problems of this technique are discussed also.

Method for QRS complex self-assortment based on mathematical morphology / 医疗卫生装备

This paper presents a new method for QRS complex self-assortment based on mathematical morphology, which measures the comparability of QRS complex with weighted Hausdorff distance. Beginning with the traditional Hausdorff distance, this paper introduces the weighted Hausdorff distance of planar object and the detailed algorithm of self-assortment of QRS complex. The evaluation results of this algorithm by MIT-BIHECG database show that this method has high self-assortment capability.

Application of RTOS to ECG tele-monitoring system based on mobile communication / 医疗卫生装备

In this paper, the application of 霤/OS-II, one of the real-time oper ation systems (RTOS), to ECG tele-monitoring system based on mobile communicatio n is introduced. The system is composed of monitoring terminals and a monitoring center. The terminals have functions such as ECG data acquisition and storage, real-time data analysis, keyboard input, LCD display, system monitor and automat ic transmission of abnormal ECG data to the monitoring center through mobile com munication network. Because these functions are not executed simultaneously, mul ti-task management is adopted instead of single task management. In Rabbit2000 m ain controller, 霤/OS-II is applied to multi-task management.

THE MULTIFUNCTION PRODUCER OF ECG SIGNAL / 医疗卫生装备

This paper presents the principles and the specific circuits of a multifunction generator of ECG signal.It discusses the choice of oarameter of all the circuits included in the small instrument.This instrurrent has been made into prototype and came-into use.
