RESUMO

The high incidence of cerebrovascular disease and the high rate of disability cause a huge burden on the patient, family and society. The incidence of sleep disorder in acute cerebrovascular disease is high, which has an important effect on the prognosis of patients with cerebrovascular disease. This paper reviews the treatment of sleep disorder in patients with acute cerebrovascular disease, mainly acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease.

RESUMO

For fine management of the clinical practice teaching in the rehabilitation therapy, a set of Rehabilitation Therapy Clinical Practice Examination was developed. It was used to assess the skill of rehabilitation evaluation, rehabilitation therapy and related knowledge of every internships, to avoid the arbitrary result of the practice examination, and has been well accepted in practice.

RESUMO

Objective To analyze the computed tomography(CT)and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)appearances of primary clear cell carcinoma of the liver (PCCCL)and evaluate the value in the diagnosis of the disease. Methods CT and MR images of 38 patients of pathologically confirmed PCCCL were evaluated retrospectively.Twenty-six patients underwent CT,23 underwent MRI, and 1 1 underwent both CT and MRI.Results In pre-contrast CT scanning,24 PCCCLs appeared hypodense and 2 hyperdense. As for MRI 1 9 of the 23 PCCCLs were hypointense and 4 were iso-hypointense on T1 WI.While on T2 WI,22 cases were heterogeneously hyperintense, and 1was iso-hypointense.On the arterial phase of CT/MRI,all cases presented intense enhancement, and on the portal venous phase,35 cases(35/38,92.1%)were relatively hypodense/hypointense and 3 were slightly hyperdense/hyperintense.Among the tumors larger than 3 cm(n=22),nodular enhancement pattern was found in 14 cases(63.6%,14/22).The capsular rim en-hancement was demonstrated in 26 cases. Conclusion PCCCL showed similar dynamic enhancement pattern as common hepatocellu-lar carcinoma, but also depicted specific imaging features.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo explore the efficacy of injectable gelatin matrix as a hemostatic agent for treatment of grade III-IV hepatic trauma to a canine model with contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) guidance.

METHODSTwenty-seven healthy adult dogs underwent celiotomy in induce grade III-IV hepatic trauma in the left lateral lobe of the liver. The dogs were then randomized into 3 groups, namely the treatment group in which the injectable hemostat was percutaneously injected into the injury site under CEUS guidance, and the positive and negative control groups with thrombin solution and normal saline treatment, respectively. Intra-abdominal blood loss within 30 min postoperatively, and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) 7 days postoperatively were compared among the groups. Follow-up CEUS was performed in each animal 7 days after the operation.

RESULTSThe mean blood loss was 47.69 ml in the treatment group, significantly less than that in the positive control group (81.77 ml, P/0.01) and negative control group (110.35 ml, P<0.01). The treatment group had also significantly lower ALT and AST levels than the two control groups (ALT: 49.37, 62.81, and 82.83 U/L, respectively, P<0.05; AST: 48.32, 67.16, and 82.54 U/L, respectively, P<0.05). In the treatment group, CEUS did not detect hepatic lesions or ascites as found in the two control groups, and the perfusion of the liver was homogeneous.

CONCLUSIONThe injectable hemostat injected under the guidance of CEUS can effectively control grade III-IV hepatic hemorrhage in the canine model and show strong effects of stopping bleeding and promoting wound healing.
