Modern Linguistics has provided a great deal of new information concerning a wide range and variety of languages. That is why, the vast majority of linguists nowadays are going to deepen into the analysis of linguistic data, and they are searching to discover whether these data contribute to our best understanding of the structures that lie underneath them, providing an insight into the general properties of human language and whether these properties lead to inferences about the nature of the organism that is able to use and acquire the language. Among the most outstanding personalities that have devoted their lives to the study of language for a better interpretation and for the analysis of all the aspects that integrate any language, we have a well –known and a very intelligent and clever man; his name is Avram Noam Chomsky(AU)

An approach to the usage of “there is/are” / Propuesta para el uso del ¨ There is/ are¨

The approach to grammar teaching has always been a primary concern in language teaching; our task was to find the irregularities that govern a given structure in English (the use of there is/are), and how this structure can be taught in a more communicative way. With this purpose, twelve books were analysed, and their approaches were compared to find differences and similarities. As for the use of “There is /are” teachers should prepare group work activities, so that students work out the new form in a logical interaction in class. Also, the work in dyads can help them with the language problems that may arise from an individual work in the classroom. The use of objetcs, pictures, persons and other teaching means can provide a more national way of learning grammar(AU)

El trabajo político, una vía para la formación de valores / Political task, a method for value formations

Ha surgido la necesidad de fortalecer en las nuevas generaciones la formación de valores a través de un sólido proceso de asimilación, haciendo que esta tarea pedagógica adquiera relevancia en el centro estudiantil. Por eso es imprescindible vincular el trabajo político al contenido de la enseñanza, dirigida a la formación de una cultura política necesaria para que nuestros estudiantes comprendan mejor el contenido de los valores y en consecuencia actúen con convicciones. La actualidad de esta problemática está dada en la necesidad de formar jóvenes con una actuación en concordancia con los principios morales de nuestra sociedad y con una sólida cultura política(AU)
