RESUMO
Was effectuated an interview of 95 physicians of regional military-medical committees of Kirovskaya area. For the question, whether military-medical expertise (MME) was given in IHE, affirmative answer gave 10.9% of respondents. A rather low (16.4%) was percent of physicians, got education in MME during postgraduate courses. Analyze has shown that nowdays the education of physicians on the topic of MME is effectuated predominantly in the course of work, conversance of judicial consequences of expertise is insufficient. It is found that physicians underestimate value of MME and don't perceive it as a self direction.

There was effectuated a testing of 500 recruits of Kirov region for purposes of detecting cognitive power, level of neuro-psychic resistance, evidence of dividual professionally important qualities. It was shown, that 11,8% of recruits are characterized by modesty and unsociability, 34,9%--are more opened for contact. According to intelligence quotient level 12,3% had bad marks, 62,3%--normal level, 25,4%--high level. Phenomena of psychic disadaptation had 23,6%, more then 70% had different negative psychological characteristics. There was effectuated a counter conditioning of recruits according to their psychological peculiarities, was shown necessity and importance of individual approach to them.

AIM: To study efficacy and safety of using a domestic anti-arrhythmic drug nibentan for arresting acute atrial fibrillation. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A total of 210 patients received nibentan in a dose 0.125 mg/kg dissolved in 20.0 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution by intravenous slow jet 3-min injection. In no response, the injection was repeated 20 min later. Nibentan injection was accompanied with continuous ECG monitoring, measurements of QT interval, arterial pressure. The criterion of efficacy was atrial fibrillation conversion into the sinus rhythm within 24 hours after injection of a total nibentan dose. RESULTS: Nibentan in a dose 0.125 mg/kg demonstrated high efficacy (91.9%) and sufficient safety (incidence of polymorphic ventricular tachycardia 2.4%) including patients taking other antiarrhythmic drugs. A basic marker of an electrophysiological effect of nibentan on the myocardium is a dynamic change in the interval QT which may serve a predictor of sinus rhythm reestablishment (in QT > or =480 ms) and of a risk to develop proarrhythmogenic complications (in QT > or =640 ms).

Porous glass-ceramics is an extremely important material to be used in combination with metallic nanolayers as a Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) substrate for biological and chemical analysis, demonstrating excellent biocompatibility and chemical inertness. These materials show their own Raman background signal lateral distribution, mostly from crystalline skeleton, which has to be considered. A nano-Raman setup using the optical fibre of a Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscope (SNOM), working in collection mode, is described and applied for mapping of such glass-ceramic. The collected Raman signal of Ti and P containing phase distribution in this near-field geometry reaches spatial resolution around 50 nm.
RESUMO
Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) has been studied using a silver-coated porous glass-ceramic material as a new type of substrate. The porous glass-ceramic is in the CaO-TiO2-P2O5 system prepared by controlled crystallization and subsequent chemical leaching of the dense glass-ceramic, leaving a solid skeleton with pores ranging in size from 50 nm to submicrometer. Silver was coated on the surface of the porous glass-ceramic by radio frequency (RF) sputtering or e-beam evaporation in vacuum. SERS spectra of excellent quality were obtained from several dyes and carboxylic acid molecules, including rhodamine 6G, crystal violet, isonicotinic acid, and benzoic acid, using this new substrate. This new substrate showed a good compatibility with these molecules. The porous glass ceramic with a nanometer-structured surface accommodated both test molecules and silver film. The absorbed molecules were therefore better interfaced with silver for surface-enhanced Raman scattering.
