RESUMO

Objective: To explore the current situation of anxiety, subjective well-being in occupational population and the mediating effect of resilience. Methods: From March 24th to 26th, 2020, a cross-sectional survey was conducted among occupational population aged ≥18 years old using online questionnaires. A total of 2134 valid questionnaires were obtained, with respondents from 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government. Their general demographic data, subjective well-being, anxiety, and resilience were collected. Pearson χ(2) test and Spearson correlation analysis were used for data analysis, and structural equation model was used to explore the mediating effect of resilience on anxiety and subjective well-being. Results: The age of the respondents ranged from 18 to 60 years old, with an average age of (31.19±7.09) years old, including 1075 (50.4%) women and 1059 (49.6%) men. The positive rates of low subjective well-being and anxiety were 46.5% (992/2134) and 28.4% (607/2134), respectively. Anxiety scores were significantly negatively correlated with subjective well-being scores and resilience scores (r(s)=-0.52, -0.41, P<0.05), while resilience was significantly positively correlated with subjective well-being (r(s)=0.32, P<0.05). Structural equation models showed that anxiety had a negative predictive effect on subjective well-being, while resilience not only had a positive predictive effect on subjective well-being, but also played a mediating role between anxiety and subjective well-being, with a mediating effect of 9.9%. Conclusion: The situation of anxiety and well-being in the occupational population is still not optimistic, and resilience has a mediating effect between anxiety and subjective well-being.

RESUMO

Workplace is an ideal environment for health promotion activities. Many countries and regions have carried out many workplace health promotion projects, which have achieved good results in improving the physical and mental health of employees and improving the economic benefits of enterprises. Although the research evidence of long-term effects and economic benefits needs to be strengthened, the workplace health promotion in developed countries has formed a complete theoretical and practical system, which is worthy of reference. In contrast, the theoretical and practical research on workplace health promotion in China needs to be strengthened. This paper summarizes the theory and project implementation experience of foreign workplace health promotion, analyzes its current situation, influencing factors and intervention research, in order to promote the formation of a theoretical system suitable for workplace health promotion in China, and better protect the physical and mental health of occupational groups and ensure the economic benefits of enterprises.

RESUMO

This study aimed to investigate immunostaining patterns for major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC-I) in different types of myopathies and to assess the diagnostic value of CD8/MHC-I complex for definite polymyositis. The study included 20 cases of definite polymyositis, 20 cases of dermatomyositis and 10 cases of dystrophies with muscle inflammation (inflammatory muscular dystrophy). Immunohistochemical staining with MHC-I antibody demonstrated the presence of MHC-I along the sarcolemma of scattered or small groups of non-necrotic fibres in both polymyositis and inflammatory muscular dystrophy, whereas intense sarcolemmal immunostaining for MHC-I was diffusely present in almost all fibres in dermatomyositis. Double immunofluorescence labelling for CD8 and MHC-I detected the CD8/MHC-I complex in 20% of polymyositis cases with mononuclear cell infiltrates. No CD8/MHC-I complex was found in the dermatomyositis or inflammatory muscular dystrophy cases. The results suggest that MHC-I detection alone cannot be used as a reliable diagnostic test to differentiate polymyositis from dystrophies with secondary muscle inflammation. The CD8/MHC-I complex, although showing high specificity, is neither a sensitive nor an easy-to-handle diagnostic test for polymyositis.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1) is a member of the C-C chemokine family and exerts strong chemoattractant activity in monocytes, macrophages, and lymphocytes. Rat pancreatic fibrosis induced by dibutyltin dichloride (DBTC) is considered to be an appropriate chronic pancreatitis model histologically and enzymatically, as has demonstrated in a previous study. AIM: We examined the effect of human dominant negative inhibitor of MCP-1 (mutant MCP-1) on progression of chronic pancreatitis induced by DBTC in a rat model. METHODS: We used the experimental model of chronic pancreatitis induced by DBTC in rats. Mutant MCP-1 or empty plasmid at a dose of 50 microg/body weight was administrated into rat thigh muscles on days 4, 11, and 18 after administration of DBTC. On days 14 and 28, we evaluated the effect of mutant MCP-1 morphologically and biochemically. RESULTS: The mutant MCP-1 treated group inhibited early pancreatic inflammation and later pancreatic fibrosis histologically, and showed a decrease in serum MCP-1 concentration, intrapancreatic hydroxyproline, alpha-smooth muscle actin, and an increase in intrapancreatic amylase and protein content compared with the empty plasmid treated group. The mutant MCP-1 group also inhibited intrapancreatic mRNA expression of cytokines and chemokines. CONCLUSIONS: : Our findings suggest that monocyte/macrophage recruitment and the systemic MCP-1 signal pathway contribute to progression of chronic pancreatitis, and that blockade of MCP-1 may suppress the development of pancreatic fibrosis.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To study the antiosteoporosis effects of Bushenqianggu capsule. METHOD: Observing the pharmacological effects of Bushenqianggu capsule with blank and positive control, and then analyzing the data with biological statistics. RESULT: The testis and uterus weight index of "the kidney assessed" model mice, weight of thighbone and blood concentration of Ca2+ increased significantly. Meanwhile, the thighbone mass density of castrated rats was improved and the incidence of the thighbone fracture in the osteoporosis model rats induced by retinoic acid was reduced. Besides, it had analgesia and anti-inflammatory effects. CONCLUSION: Bushenqianggu capsule has a good effect on osteoporosis, which provides evidence for clinical use.

RESUMO

Interleukin-2 (IL-2) which is produced by T-lymphocytes is a protein molecule with the molecular weight of 15,420-Daltons. It has good functions in curing a lot of diseases such as cancer and AIDS even with a small quantity. A new method for purification of IL-2 by preparative high performance liquid chromatography is described. It was the first time to use hydroxyapatite as the packing to separate IL-2. IL-2 has one disulphide bridge (between 58th Cys and 105th Cys) and one free cysteine. In order to prevent aggregation and formation of wrong disulphide bond, 50 mumol/L Cu2+ and 1.5 mol/L guanidine hydrochloride was used for autoxidation and denaturing. Then we used mainly two chromatographic steps: First, Sephadex G-25 Gel permeation chromatography was used to separate guanidine hydrochloride and small molecules. Second, large scale preparative HPLC was used to separate impure protein from IL-2. Gradient elution was performed with phosphate buffer (pH 6.8). Its purity was examined by SDS-PAGE. Its activity reached 1 x 10(6) U/mg by CTLL-2 cell MTT method. The results showed that it is a suitable method for the large-scale purification of IL-2.
