RESUMO

The new organizational pattern of hospital-substituting technology--the day-stay hospital for the rehabilitation of the children suffering from chronic somatic diseases and after-effects of perinatal lesion of the central nervous system. This approach gives an opportunity to implement a relevant and up-to-date neuro-somatic approach using the potential of medical specialists from the pediatric polyclinic's staff The priority is given to the non-pharmaceutical techniques of rehabilitation to permitting to come about the higher results even without expensive pharmaceuticals.

RESUMO

The paper presents the results of a study of health status and some factors of nutrition in 1900 adolescents aged 10-17 years from the Primorye Territory. A comprehensive assessment of the height and development established health group 1 only in 4.2%, which is 6.5% less than the initial data of preventive examinations at educational establishments. The implication of the morphofunctional status was underestimated in assessing the health status. The findings of the pattern of nutrition in children adolescents from the Primorye Territory point to its irregularity, unbalanced characteristics in terms of basic ingredients, accompanied by low health indices. Metabolic trophotropicity was revealed in the adolescents of the Primorye Territory at the present stage. These processes were most marked in 13-year-old girls. In the average, in every 7 children protein metabolism tended to decrease with the maximum manifestation of these disorders at the age of 11-12 years.

RESUMO

Organization of the activities of institutions engaged in medical care of children (pediatric outpatient health centers) is discussed in connection with transfer of adolescents aged 15-17 years under the care of pediatric services. Based on the results of experimental research and practical designs, the authors discuss the obligatory preparatory measures introducing this process, pressing problems of therapeutic, prophylactic, and medicosocial care rendered to adolescents aged 10-17 years (according to WHO classification), and specific features in the activities of specialists new for these health centers, such as psychologist/medical psychologist, adolescent therapist, pediatric gynecologist, social worker, etc.

RESUMO

90 infants with intrauterine growth retardation (IGR) and 100 normal infants (control group) were followed up from 5 days till 3 years of life. In IGR infants there was a more frequent combination of several neurologic syndromes, an early manifestation of motor disorders (from the very moment of birth), a delay of neuro-psychic development (during the first year of life), a tendency to development of moderate hydrocephalus by the age of 6 months. Autonomic-visceral disorders in them were mostly characterized by the symptoms of abaissement, but not of irritation.

RESUMO

Children with cardiovascular dysfunction on sanatorium treatment underwent adaptation which proceeds without pathological shifts and depends on initial functional status of a child. Readaptation was associated with more serious alterations. Critical periods of an unfavorable course of adaptation and readaptation are described. Corrective measures are considered with respect to cardiovascular, autonomous nervous and psychoemotional statuses.

RESUMO

The temperature optimum and thermal stability of endo-beta-glucanase, beta-glucanase, pentosanase and cellobiase from the enzymic preparations used in the brewing industry to treat high amounts of unmalted barley--citorosemin Px, citorosemin P10x, amylosubtilin G10x and brew-n-zyme--were measured. In order to determine the termerature optimum the enzyme activity was assayed under standard conditions. It was found that the temperature optimum for endo-beta-glucanase of all preparations was 50 degrees, for beta-glucanase and pentosanase--40 degrees, for cellobiase--70 degrees C. The thermal stability of endo-beta-glucanase from amylosubtilin G10x and brew-n-zyme in the aqueous solution was higher than that from ditorosemin Px and P10x. The thermal stability of the latter preparations noticeably increased in the presence of substrates.
