BACKGROUND: Gastric cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally. Traditional open surgery for gastric cancer is often associated with significant morbidity and prolonged recovery. AIM: To evaluate the effectiveness of laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery as an alternative to traditional open surgery for gastric cancer, focusing on its potential to reduce trauma, accelerate recovery, and achieve comparable oncological outcomes. METHODS: This study retrospectively analyzed 203 patients with gastric cancer who underwent surgery at the Shanghai Health Medical College Affiliated Chongming Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023. The patients were divided into two groups: Minimally invasive surgery group (n = 102), who underwent laparoscopic gastrectomy, and open surgery group (n = 101), who underwent traditional open gastrectomy. We compared surgical indicators (surgical incision size, intraoperative blood loss, surgical duration, and number of lymph nodes dissected), recovery parameters (time to first flatus, time to start eating, time to ambulation, and length of hospital stay), immune function (levels of IgA, IgG, and IgM), intestinal barrier function (levels of D-lactic acid and diamine oxidase), and stress response (levels of C-reactive protein, interleukin-6, and procalcitonin). RESULTS: The minimally invasive surgery group demonstrated significantly better outcomes in terms of surgical indicators, including smaller incisions, less blood loss, shorter surgery time, and more lymph nodes dissected (P < 0.05 for all). Recovery was also faster in the minimally invasive surgery group, with earlier return of bowel function, earlier initiation of diet, quicker mobilization, and shorter hospital stays (P < 0.05 for all). Furthermore, patients in the minimally invasive surgery group had better preserved immune function, superior intestinal barrier function, and a less pronounced stress response postoperatively (P < 0.05 for all). CONCLUSION: Laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for gastric cancer not only provides superior surgical indicators and faster recovery but also offers advantages in preserving immune function, protecting intestinal barrier function, and mitigating the stress response compared to traditional open surgery. These findings support the broader adoption of laparoscopic techniques in the management of gastric cancer.

Patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) have a poor prognosis. Loncastuximab tesirine (Lonca), an antibody conjugate targeting CD19, has demonstrated significant clinical benefit in R/R DLBCL in a global phase 2 LOTIS-2 study. In the China bridging pivotal phase 2 OL-ADCT-402-001 study, eligible patients aged ≥18 years with R/R DLBCL who had failed ≥ 2 lines of systemic therapies were enrolled and treated with Lonca every 3 week with 150 µg/kg for 2 cycles; then 75 µg/kg for subsequent cycles (up to 1 year). The primary endpoint was overall response rate (ORR) assessed by independent review committee. Primary analyses for efficacy and safety were performed on the patients who received at least one treatment and had at least 6 months of follow-up following an initial documented response. As of data-cutoff, 64 patients received Lonca (median: 4.0 cycles [range: 1 to 17]). The median number of prior lines of therapies was 3.0 (range: 2 to 12). The ORR was 51.6% (95% CI: 38.7% to 64.2%), and the complete response rate was 23.4%. Hematological events accounted for the majority of the most common (≥15%) Grade ≥3 treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs), in which increased gamma glutamyltransferase (25.0%), and hypokalaemia (18.8%) also were reported. Serious TEAEs were reported in 35 of 64 patients with 4 fatal TEAEs. In conclusion, Lonca monotherapy demonstrated clinically meaningful efficacy and was well-tolerated in heavily pretreated Chinese patients with R/R DLBCL, which was consistent with the results of the LOTIS-2 study in Caucasian patients.

Background: The majority of extant methodologies for text classification prioritize the extraction of feature representations from texts with high degrees of distinction, a process that may result in computational inefficiencies. To address this limitation, the current study proposes a novel approach by directly leveraging label information to construct text representations. This integration aims to optimize the use of label data alongside textual content. Methods: The methodology initiated with separate pre-processing of texts and labels, followed by encoding through a projection layer. This research then utilized a conventional self-attention model enhanced by instance normalization (IN) and Gaussian Error Linear Unit (GELU) functions to assess emotional valences in review texts. An advanced self-attention mechanism was further developed to enable the efficient integration of text and label information. In the final stage, an adaptive label encoder was employed to extract relevant label information from the combined text-label data efficiently. Results: Empirical evaluations demonstrate that the proposed model achieves a significant improvement in classification performance, outperforming existing methodologies. This enhancement is quantitatively evidenced by its superior micro-F1 score, indicating the efficacy of integrating label information into text classification processes. This suggests that the model not only addresses computational inefficiencies but also enhances the accuracy of text classification.

RESUMO

A novel virus, temporarily named "Arctic wolf parvovirus" (AWPV), was discovered in a pharyngeal metagenomic library derived from an Arctic wolf (Canis lupus arctos) in China. The genome sequence was assigned GenBase accession number C_AA071902.1. AWPV has a genome comprised of 4,920 base pairs with a nucleotide composition of 36.4% A, 23.4% T, 18.2% G, and 22.0% C, with a GC content of 40.2%. Its structure resembles parvoviruses, containing two open reading frames: the nonstructural (NS) region encoding replication enzymes and the structural (VP) region encoding capsid protein. Pairwise sequence comparison and phylogenetic analysis suggest AWPV may represent a novel species within the genus Protoparvovirus. This discovery enhances our understanding of mammalian virus ecology and potential future infectious diseases.

Ultraviolet-C (UV-C) radiation and ozone gas are potential mechanisms employed to inactivate the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), each exhibiting distinct molecular-level modalities of action. To elucidate these disparities and deepen our understanding, we delve into the intricacies of SARS-CoV-2 inactivation via UV-C and ozone gas treatments, exploring their distinct molecular-level impacts utilizing a suite of advanced techniques, including biological atomic force microscopy (Bio-AFM) and single virus force spectroscopy (SVFS). Whereas UV-C exhibited no perceivable alterations in virus size or surface topography, ozone gas treatment elucidated pronounced changes in both parameters, intensifying with prolonged exposure. Furthermore, a nuanced difference was observed in virus-host cell binding post-treatment: ozone gas distinctly reduced SARS-CoV-2 binding to host cells, while UV-C maintained the status quo. The results derived from these methodical explorations underscore the pivotal role of advanced Bio-AFM techniques and SVFS in enhancing our understanding of virus inactivation mechanisms, offering invaluable insights for future research and applications in viral contamination mitigation.

Background: There are multiple psychological symptoms in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology, which seriously affect health-related quality of life and even cause patients to stop treatment. Aim: This study aimed to identify psychological symptom clusters and their influencing factors in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted from June to November 2023 at the reproductive centers of Nanjing Women and Children's Healthcare Hospital. Data on demographic and clinical characteristics and Symptom Checklist-90 were collected. Exploratory factor analysis was performed to identify psychological symptom clusters. Univariate logistic regression analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed to explore influencing factors. Results: A total of 213 patients were recruited. The study found that the included participants scored higher on all SCL scales than the general Chinese females. The three most common were trouble remembering things (81.7%), feeling easily annoyed or irritated (81.2%), and feeling low in energy or slowed down (70.9%). Six symptom clusters were identified: paranoid ideation, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, interpersonal sensitivity, somatization, and sleep disorders. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that duration of infertility treatment (>12 months) was identified as a risk factor for sleep disorder cluster (OR=2.833, 95% CI:1.355~5.922), adverse pregnancy history was identified as a risk factor for paranoid ideation cluster (OR=2.961,95% CI:1.406~6.253), depression cluster (OR=2.404,95% CI:1.240~4.660), and obsessive-compulsive cluster (OR=1.810, 95% CI:1.016~3.233), financial burden during treatment was identified as risk factors for all symptom clusters[(OR=5.869, 95% CI:1.717~20.057),(OR=6.490,95% CI:2.210~19.063),(OR=3.034,95% CI:1.560~5.898),(OR=7.078,95% CI:2.420~20.698),(OR=4.532,95% CI:1.845~10.397),(OR=2.151,95% CI:1.129~4.098)]. Conclusion: Women undergoing ART experience various psychological symptoms that are interrelated and exist in the form of symptom clusters. More attention should be paid to the psychological status of patients with longer duration of infertility treatment, adverse pregnancy history, and financial burden during treatment. This study guides the development of targeted and effective psychological interventions to facilitate symptom management in women undergoing ART.

With the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), a sustained global pandemic has emerged. Globally, the cumulative death toll is in the millions. The rising number of COVID-19 infections and deaths has severely impacted the lives of people worldwide, healthcare systems, and economic development. We conducted a retrospective analysis of the characteristics of COVID-19 patients. This analysis includes clinical features upon initial hospital admission, relevant laboratory test results, and imaging findings. We aimed to identify risk factors for severe illness and to construct a predictive model for assessing the risk of severe COVID-19. We collected and analyzed electronic medical records of confirmed COVID-19 patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangsu University (Zhenjiang, China) between December 18, 2022, and February 28, 2023. According to the WHO diagnostic criteria for the novel coronavirus, we divided the patients into two groups: severe and non-severe, and compared their clinical, laboratory, and imaging data. Logistic regression analysis, the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis were used to identify the relevant risk factors for severe COVID-19 patients. Patients were divided into a training cohort and a validation cohort. A nomogram model was constructed using the "rms" package in R software. Among the 346 patients, the severe group exhibited significantly higher respiratory rates, breathlessness, altered consciousness, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels compared to the non-severe group. Imaging findings indicated that the severe group had a higher proportion of bilateral pulmonary inflammation and ground-glass opacities compared to the non-severe group. NLR and LDH were identified as independent risk factors for severe patients. The diagnostic performance was maximized when NLR, respiratory rate (RR), and LDH were combined. Based on the statistical analysis results, we developed a COVID-19 severity risk prediction model. The total score is calculated by adding up the scores for each of the twelve independent variables. By mapping the total score to the lowest scale, we can estimate the risk of COVID-19 severity. In addition, the calibration plots and DCA analysis showed that the nomogram had better discrimination power for predicting the severity of COVID-19. Our results showed that the development and validation of the predictive nomogram had good predictive value for severe COVID-19.

As robots are increasingly participating in our daily lives, the quests to mimic human abilities have driven the advancements of robotic multimodal senses. However, current perceptual technologies still unsatisfied robotic needs for home tasks/environments, particularly facing great challenges in multisensory integration and fusion, rapid response capability, and highly sensitive perception. Here, we report a flexible tactile sensor utilizing thin-film thermistors to implement multimodal perceptions of pressure, temperature, matter thermal property, texture, and slippage. Notably, the tactile sensor is endowed with an ultrasensitive (0.05 mm/s) and ultrafast (4 ms) slip sensing that is indispensable for dexterous and reliable grasping control to avoid crushing fragile objects or dropping slippery objects. We further propose and develop a robotic tactile-visual fusion architecture that seamlessly encompasses multimodal sensations from the bottom level to robotic decision-making at the top level. A series of intelligent grasping strategies with rapid slip feedback control and a tactile-visual fusion recognition strategy ensure dexterous robotic grasping and accurate recognition of daily objects, handling various challenging tasks, for instance grabbing a paper cup containing liquid. Furthermore, we showcase a robotic desktop-cleaning task, the robot autonomously accomplishes multi-item sorting and cleaning desktop, demonstrating its promising potential for smart housekeeping.

Objective: To explore the underlying mechanisms the airway microbiome contributes to Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(AECOPD). Methods: We enrolled 31 AECOPD patients and 26 stable COPD patients, their sputum samples were collected for metagenomic and RNA sequencing, and then subjected to bioinformatic analyses. The expression of host genes was validated by Quantitative Real-time PCR(qPCR) using the same batch of specimens. Results: Our results indicated a higher expression of Rothia mucilaginosa(p=0.015) in the AECOPD group and Haemophilus influenzae(p=0.005) in the COPD group. The Different expressed genes(DEGs) detected were significantly enriched in "type I interferon signaling pathway"(p<0.001, q=0.001) in gene function annotation, and "Cytosolic DNA-sensing pathway"(p=0.002, q=0.024), "Toll-like receptor signaling pathway"(p=0.006, q=0.045), and "TNF signaling pathway"(p=0.006, q=0.045) in KEGG enrichment analysis. qPCR amplification experiment verified that the expression of OASL and IL6 increased significantly in the AECOPD group. Conclusion: Pulmonary bacteria dysbiosis may regulate the pathogenesis of AECOPD through innate immune system pathways like type I interferon signaling pathway and Toll-like receptor signaling pathway.

Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, though etiologically distinct, are both inflammatory joint diseases that cause progressive joint injury, chronic pain, and loss of function. Therefore, long-term treatment with a focus on relieving symptoms is needed. At present, the primary treatment for arthritis is drug therapy, both oral and intravenous. Although significant progress has been achieved for these treatment methods in alleviating symptoms, certain prominent drawbacks such as the substantial side effects and limited absorption of medications call for an urgent need for improved drug delivery methods. Injected hydrogels can be used as a delivery system to deliver drugs to the joint cavity in a controlled manner and continuously release them, thereby enhancing drug retention in the joint cavity to improve therapeutic effectiveness, which is attributed to the desirable attributes of the delivery system such as low immunogenicity, good biodegradability and biocompatibility. This review summarizes the types of injectable hydrogels and analyzes their applications as delivery systems in arthritis treatment. We also explored how hydrogels counteract inflammation, bone and cartilage degradation, and oxidative stress, while promoting joint cartilage regeneration in the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This review also highlights new approaches to developing injectable hydrogels as delivery systems for OA and RA.

An efficient cascade cyclization strategy was developed to synthesize aminobenzofuran spiroindanone and spirobarbituric acid derivatives utilizing 2-bromo-1,3-indandione, 5-bromo-1,3-dimethylbarbituric acid, and ortho-hydroxy α-aminosulfones as substrates. Under the optimized reaction conditions, the corresponding products were obtained with high efficiency, exceeding 95% and 85% yields for the respective derivatives. This protocol demonstrates exceptional substrate versatility and robust scalability up to the Gram scale, establishing a stable platform for the synthesis of 3-aminobenzofuran derivative. The successful synthesis paves the way for further biological evaluations with potential implications in scientific research.

Limited treatment options and multidrug-resistant (MDR) Klebsiella pneumoniae present a significant therapeutic challenge, underscoring the need for novel approaches. Drug repurposing is a promising tool for augmenting the activity of many antibiotics. This study aimed to identify novel synergistic drug combinations against K. pneumoniae based on drug repurposing. We used the clinically isolated GN 172867 MDR strain of K. pneumoniae to determine the reversal resistance activity of zidovudine (AZT). The combined effects of AZT and various antibiotics, including nitrofurantoin (NIT) and omadacycline (OMC), were examined using the checkerboard method, growth curves, and crystal violet assays to assess biofilms. An in vitro combination activity testing was carried out in 12 isolates of K. pneumoniae. In vivo murine urinary tract and lung infection models were used to evaluate the therapeutic effects of AZT + NIT and AZT + OMC, respectively. The fractional inhibitory concentration index and growth curve demonstrated that AZT synergized with NIT or OMC against K. pneumoniae strains. In addition, AZT + NIT inhibited biofilm formation and cleared mature biofilms. In vivo, compared with untreated GN 172867-infected mice, AZT + NIT and AZT + OMC treatment decreased colony counts in multiple tissues (P < 0.05) and pathological scores in the bladder and kidneys (P < 0.05) and increased the survival rate by 60% (P < 0.05). This study evaluated the combination of AZT and antibiotics to treat drug-resistant K. pneumoniae infections and found novel drug combinations for the treatment of acute urinary tract infections. These findings suggest that AZT may exert significant anti-resistance activity.

The recovery of silver ions from wastewater is of great importance due to their adverse environmental impact and significant economic value. This paper introduces a novel adsorbent (CS-AHMT) that can be easily synthesized via a one-step functionalization of chitosan with 4-Amino-3-hydrazino-1,2,4-triazol-5-thiol to efficiently recover silver ions from actual wastewater. CS-AHMT demonstrated superior adsorption performance, achieving an adsorption capacity of 241.4 mg·g-1 at pH 5 and 318 K, and the adsorption equilibrium was rapidly attained within 60 to 120 min. Kinetic and isotherm studies indicate that the adsorption process conforms to the pseudo-nth-order (PNO) and Sips models, suggesting a monolayer adsorption that incorporates both physical and chemical processes, with internal mass transfer being the primary rate-limiting step. Electrostatic and coordination interactions are primarily involved in the adsorption mechanism of silver ions on CS-AHMT, as further validated by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The selectivity and practical applicability of CS-AHMT were confirmed in real wastewater containing high concentrations of competing ions. The findings underscore the potential of CS-AHMT as an effective adsorbent for silver ion recovery in wastewater treatment applications.

The present study successfully synthesized a novel biochar adsorbent (M-L-BC) using litchi seed modified with zinc chloride for PFASs removal in water. M-L-BC greatly enhanced removal of all examined PFASs (>95 %) as compared to the pristine biochar (<40 %). The maximum adsorption capacity was observed for PFOS, reaching 29.6 mg/g. Adsorption kinetics of PFASs followed the pseudo-second-order model (PSO), suggesting the predominance of chemical adsorption. Moreover, characterization and density functional theory (DFT) calculations jointly revealed involvement of surface complexation, electrostatic interactions, hydrogen bonding, and hydrophobic interactions in PFAS adsorption. Robust PFAS removal was demonstrated for M-L-BC across a wide range of pH (3-9), and coexisting ions had limited impact on adsorption of PFASs except PFBA. Furthermore, M-L-BC showed excellent performance in real water samples and retained reusability after five cycles of regeneration. Overall, M-L-BC represents a promising and high-quality adsorbent for efficient and sustainable removal of PFASs from water.

A glucosyl-rich pectin, JMMP-3 (Mw, 2.572 × 104 g/mol, O-methyl % = 3.62%), was isolated and purified from the pericarp of the immature fruit of Juglans mandshurica Maxim. (QingLongYi). The structure of JMMP-3 was studied systematically by infrared spectroscopy, monosaccharide compositions, methylation analysis, partial acid hydrolysis, and 1/2D-NMR. The backbone of JMMP-3 possessed a smooth region (→ 4GalA1 →) and a hairy region (→ 4GalA1 → 2Rha1 →) with a molar ratio of 2: 5. Recovering silver from wastewater not only significantly reduces environmental harm but also meets the growing demand for silver in modern industry. Here, a novel metal-organic framework adsorbent (MOF-RD) using rhodanine derivatives as linkers is introduced for the efficient and selective capture of silver ions in real wastewater. The adsorption of MOF-RD followed pseudo-second-order and Sips models, and thermodynamic investigations revealed the process to be endothermic. MOF-RD demonstrated a remarkable adsorption capacity of 707.2 mg·g-1 for Ag(I) at pH 5 and 318 K. The interaction between silver ions and MOF-RD was mainly electrostatic attraction and coordination, with coordination primarily occurring at the CO and CS sites within the rhodanine motif. The practical applicability of MOF-RD for selective adsorption of Ag(I) was validated in actual wastewater with high-concentration competing metal ions. Furthermore, after 10 adsorption-desorption cycle experiments, MOF-RD still retained a strong regenerative capability. The results reveal the good potential of MOF-RD as an adsorbent for selectively recovering Ag(I) from industrial wastewater. Additionally, the strategies and methods adopted in this article also provide new perspectives and technical paths for the separation and recovery of other metal ions in wastewater.

Making full use of the captured energy by phosphorescence light-harvesting systems (PLHSs) and the tunable photoluminescence in energy transfer process to realize the multiple applications is still the challenge of PLHSs research. In this study, we have successfully constructed a highly effective PLHS with tunable multicolor luminescence and efficient conversion of photosensitizer types, which can further be used in photocatalytic organic conversion, information anti-counterfeiting and storage. The supramolecular polymer of BDBP-CB[8], which is generated by cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) and 4-(4-bromophenyl)-pyridine derivative (BDBP), realizes a phosphorescence emission and a change in luminescence color. Notably, white light emission was achieved and the logic gate systems were constructed utilizing the application of adjustable luminescence color. More interestingly, PLHS can be constructed by employing BDBP-CB[8] as energy donors, Sulforhodamine 101 (SR101) and Cyanine5 (Cy5) as energy acceptors, which results in a remarkably tunable multicolor photoluminescence to achieve the information storage. Furthermore, we have also found that BDBP-CB[8] can serve as type II photosensitizer for the effective production of singlet oxygen (1O2) during the photooxidation process of styrene in aqueous environments, attaining a remarkable output rate reaching as high as 89 %. Particularly, compared with 1O2 produced by type II photosensitizer BDBP-CB[8], the construction of PLHS can effectively convert type II photosensitizer to type I photosensitizer and efficiently generate superoxide anion radical (O2•-), which can be used for photocatalytic cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) reaction in the aqueous solution with a yield of 90 %. Thus, we have created a PLHS that not only achieves tunable multicolor emission for information anti-counterfeiting and storage, but also realizes the conversion of reactive oxygen species (ROS) for different types photocatalytic oxidation reactions.

BACKGROUND: This study investigates the effects of birth season and sex on the development of gross and fine motor skills in 2-year-old children in Jinhua, Eastern China. METHODS: Conducted in Jinhua, a city in central Zhejiang Province, Eastern China, this research involved 225 children, assessing their gross and fine motor skills using the Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, Second Edition. Scores were adjusted for age in months to avoid the relative age effect. Statistical analyses included MANOVA to evaluate the impacts of season and sex. RESULTS: Sex had no significant impact on overall motor development scores (p > 0.05). However, the season of birth significantly affected fine motor quotient (FMQ) and total motor quotient (TMQ) (p < 0.05). Boys' motor skills were generally unaffected by season, whereas girls born in winter exhibited superior fine motor skills compared to those born in summer. CONCLUSIONS: Seasonal environmental factors significantly influence early motor development, particularly fine motor skills in girls. These findings highlight the importance of considering seasonal variations in early childhood interventions aimed at enhancing exercise physiology and sports performance.

Here, we report a set of new polymerization reactions enabled by the 1,2-regioselective hydro- and silylcupration of enyne-type propargylic electrophiles. Highly regioregular head-to-tail poly(2-butyne-1,4-diyl)s (HT-PBD), bearing either methyl or silylmethyl side chains, are synthesized for the first time. A rapid entry into carbon-rich copolymers with adjustable silicon content is developed via in situ monomer bifurcation. Furthermore, a one-pot polymerization/semireduction sequence is developed to access a cis-poly(butadiene)-derived backbone by a ligand swap on copper hydride species. Interestingly, borocupration, typically exhibiting identical regioselectivity with its hydro- and silyl analogues, seems to proceed in a 3,4-selective manner. Computational studies suggest the possible role of the propargylic leaving group in this selectivity switch. This work presents a new class of regioregular sp-carbon-rich polymers and meanwhile a novel approach to organosilicon materials.

BACKGROUND: Accurate detection of lymph node metastasis (LNM) is crucial for determining the tumor stage, selecting optimal treatment, and estimating the prognosis for cervical cancer. This study aimed to assess the diagnostic efficacy of multimodal diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and morphological parameters alone or in combination, for detecting LNM in cervical cancer. METHODS: In this prospective study, we enrolled consecutive cervical cancer patients who received multimodal DWI (conventional DWI, intravoxel incoherent motion DWI, and diffusion kurtosis imaging) before treatment from June 2022 to June 2023. The largest lymph node (LN) observed on each side on imaging was matched with that detected on pathology to improve the accuracy of LN matching. Comparison of the diffusion and morphological parameters of LNs and the primary tumor between the positive and negative LN groups. A combined diagnostic model was constructed using multivariate logistic regression, and the diagnostic performance was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curves. RESULTS: A total of 93 cervical cancer patients were enrolled: 35 with LNM (48 positive LNs were collected), and 58 without LNM (116 negative LNs were collected). The area under the curve (AUC) values for the apparent diffusion coefficient, diffusion coefficient, mean diffusivity, mean kurtosis, long-axis diameter, short-axis diameter of LNs, and the largest primary tumor diameter were 0.716, 0.720, 0.716, 0.723, 0.726, 0.798, and 0.744, respectively. Independent risk factors included the diffusion coefficient, mean kurtosis, short-axis diameter of LNs, and the largest primary tumor diameter. The AUC value of the combined model based on the independent risk factors was 0.920, superior to the AUC values of all the parameters mentioned above. CONCLUSION: Combining multimodal DWI and morphological parameters improved the diagnostic efficacy for detecting cervical cancer LNM than using either alone.
