[Accessibility and content of electronic information about specialization courses in nursing administration]. / Acessibilidade e conteúdo de informação eletrônica sobre Cursos de Especialização em Administração em Enfermagem.

The objective of this descriptive study was to analyze the accessibility and the content of the information about Specialization Courses in Nursing Administration available on the websites of federal universities in Brazil. From September 2008 to April 2009, evaluations were performed on a total 19 courses that were available on the websites of the universities, regarding the level of access to information and the design of the curricula, in terms of the structure of the knowledge about Nursing Administration: Ideological and Theoretical Bases, Intervention Methods, and Resource Administration Practices. Results showed that, though we are currently in the era of the knowledge society, the electronic access to the teaching programs remain below the expectations in terms of the concepts of information and browsability. In terms of the design of the courses, it was observed that most are many times longer than the what s legally established as a minimum load of hours, and that there has been an appreciation towards studying the Ideological and Theoretical Bases in detriment to the Practices of Human Resources.

[Historical analysis of ABEn's Newsletter: changes and transformations in the XXI Century]. / Análise histórica do Jornal da ABEn: mudanças e transformações no Século XXI.

This is an descriptive-exploratory and interpretative study that presents and criticizes matters of 19 issues of ABEn's Newsletter published in the beginning of XXI Century, under the nursing student's view. The study aimed at identifying, quantifying and analyzing the content of this publication that is published since 1958, whose content offers information of general and political interest to guide Nursing routes. The analysis allowed to observe that the periodical had jumped in quality since the beginning of 2002, and that prevalent authorship is of membership directors of National ABEn, while predominant thematic are related to health policies and nursing education.

[A proposal for a geometrical delimitation model for ventro-gluteal injection]. / Proposta de um modelo de delimitação geométrica para a injeção ventro-glútea.

This study aimed at presenting and comparing geometrical and traditional technique for intramuscular injection in the ventrogluteal area. This is a quasi-experimental study of non-equivalent control group type, carried out with anatomical parts of corpses to verify the precision of function between traditional delimitation using hand as reference and the geometrical model which was constituted by tracing imaginary lines across bone structures of the hip, making a configuration of a triangle whose barycenter points the punction site. The study demonstrated that the punction site delimited by the geometrical technique keeped proportion of the envolved structures, and matched with the muscular womb of the ventrogluteal area in 100% of punctions. In another hand, in the traditional technique the punction site varied in 39.9% of punctions.
