RESUMO

La educación a través del cine constituye un exponente de concientización contra la discriminación racial y sus efectos. En la Facultad de Medicina No.1 de Santiago de Cuba se facilita el debate de filmes que abordan este asunto, partiendo del intercambio creativo y reflexivo con estudiantes y docentes según las situaciones complejas de diversas épocas que se reflejan en los materiales exhibidos y su paralelismo en la actualidad mundial, y en las complejas situaciones que prevalecen en la sociedad cubana.(AU)


Education through cinema is an exponent of awareness against racial discrimination and its effects. In the Faculty of Medicine No.1 of Santiago de Cuba the debate of films that promotes activity based on the creative and reflective exchange with students and teachers according to the complex situations of different times that are reflected in the exhibited materials and their parallelism in world news and the complex situations that prevail in Cuban society.(AU)

RESUMO

En la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de la Habana, se realizan cines debate desde el año 2013, como parte del programa educativo para la formación humana en las carreras de la salud. El artículo da cuenta del universo cultural que representa el cine para la formación en Salud, de los principales ejes metodológicos formulados desde la presente experiencia- así como- del balance favorable obtenido. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa con la revisión de fuentes bibliográficas disponibles en bases de datos de internet. Las autoras evidencian sus propias consideraciones y las conclusiones sobre las significativas ventajas del uso del cine para la formación humana en Salud. (AU)


At the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, debate cinemas have been held since 2013, as part of the educational program for human training in health careers. The article gives an account of the cultural universe that the cinema represents for Health training, of the main methodological axes formulated from the present experience - as well as - of the favorable balance obtained. A qualitative methodology was used with the review of bibliographic sources available in internet databases. The authors evidence their own considerations and conclusions about the significant advantages of using cinema for human training in Health. (AU)

Objetivo: conocer los efectos del cine-debate en casa, en los significados culturales del concepto de jubilación y en las vivencias de retiro laboral, en una familia mexicana, confinada por la pandemia de Covid-19. Metodología: estudio descriptivo exploratorio con intervención pre-experimental, evaluación pre-test, intermedia y post-test. Participaron cuatro mujeres, tres retiradas del trabajo y su nieta universitaria. El programa de intervención se integró con un ciclo de cine de ocho películas para jubilados. En el pre-test y post-test se usaron las listas libres y se analizaron a través del modelo de los dominios culturales. Para la evaluación intermedia se usó el grupo focal, sus datos obtenidos se analizaron con fundamento en la fenomenología. Resultados: las participantes ampliaron y resignificaron su significado cultural sobre el concepto de jubilación. Antes de la intervención, definieron el concepto como descanso, retiro y tranquilidad. Después de la intervención, les significó felicidad y tranquilidad. Reflexionaron sobre su propio proceso de retiro laboral y tomaron conciencia de la problemática social de la jubilación. La proyección secuencial de las películas contribuyó positivamente en los resultados obtenidos. Conclusiones: en tiempos de pandemia se puede continuar con la formación para la jubilación a través del cine-debate en casa. (AU)


Objective: to know the effects of the cinema-debate at home, in the cultural meanings of the concept of retirement and on the experiences of retirement, in a Mexican family, confined by the Covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: exploratory descriptive study with pre-experimental intervention, pre-test, intermediate and post-test evaluation. Four women participated, three retirees and their university granddaughter. The intervention program was integrated with a cinema series of eight films for retirees. In the pre-test and post-test, the free lists were used and analyzed through the model of cultural domains. For the intermediate evaluation, the focus group was used, its data obtained were analyzed based on phenomenology. Results: the participants expanded and re-signified their cultural meaning on the concept of retirement. Before the intervention, they defined the concept as rest, retirement and tranquility. After the intervention, it meant happiness and tranquility. They reflected on their own retirement process and became aware of the social problems of retirement. The sequential projection of the films contributed positively to the results obtained. Conclusions: in times of pandemic, retirement training can be continued through cinema-debate at home. (AU)

RESUMO

La formación médica amerita una educación que estimule el conocimiento científico, en la cual el cine y sus muchos materiales audiovisuales concebidos para la televisión se vinculan como un ente facilitador al docente para elevar la cultura del estudiante y con ello incidir en la pertinencia de su gestión como futuro profesional de la salud pública, comprometido con la ética de su praxis y en particular con las investigaciones que implican ensayos en humanos. En este sentido sobresalen programas como la entrevista al Dr. Jorge Berlanga Acosta, eminente investigador en el espacio televisivo «Con dos que se quieran», empleado mediante el debate con los estudiantes de Medicina. Medical training deserves an education that stimulates scientific knowledge, in which the cinema and the many audiovisual materials conceived for television are linked as a facilitating entity to the teacher to elevate the student's culture and thus influence the relevance of his management as a future public health professional, committed to the ethics of his practice and in particular to research involving trials. In this sense, programs such as the interview with Dr. Jorge Berlanga Acosta, an eminent researcher in the television space ¨Con dos que se quieran¨, used through debate with medical students, stand out. RESUMEN Introducción: La enseñanza de la Medicina vinculada al cine aporta un pensamiento estético, proveyendo así de recursos para movilizar su gestión en función del estado de salud de la población, a favor de la calidad de vida y la sostenibilidad en los escenarios en los que debe actuar como médicos. Objetivo: Valorar la aplicación del cine debate en la formación cultural del estudiante de Medicina. Método: Se aplicaron instrumentos que permitieron constatar la existencia de limitaciones y dificultades en la utilización del debate de materiales audiovisuales en la formación de estudiantes de Medicina. Se diseñó y aplicó un sistema de cine debate en la que participaron estudiantes de cuarto año de la Facultad de Medicina No. 1 de Santiago de Cuba en el período comprendido entre septiembre de 2017 a febrero de 2018. Resultados: Se ofrecen las propuestas de cine debate con sus objetivos y acciones a cumplimentar por los estudiantes. Conclusiones: El debate de materiales audiovisuales constituye una herramienta de apoyo en la formación de los estudiantes de Medicina, pues favorece una mayor calidad profesional y contribuye a enriquecer su acervo cultural. De esta manera el estudiante se convierte en agente protagónico de su preparación al estimular su conocimiento, su mentalidad inquisitiva y el interés gnoseológico que lo conduce de la ciencia a la vida en provecho de una postura ética ante la población con la que ha de interactuar propiciando el logro de una adecuada competencia profesional.


ABSTRACT Introduction: The education of the Medicine related to the movies contributes of an esthetical thought, providing resources to mobilize its management according to the state of health of the population, in favour of the quality of life and the sustainability. Objective: The objective is to value the use of the debate of audiovisual materials in students' Medicine cultural formation. Method: Instruments that allowed to state the existence of limitations and difficulties in the use of the debate of audiovisual materials in the students' Medicine formation were applied. It was designed and applied a movies-debates system in which students of the fourth year of the faculty of Medicine Not. 1 of Santiago de Cuba participated between September, 2017 and February, 2018. Results: The movies-debates proposals were offered with their objectives and actions to complete by the students. Conclusions: The audiovisual materials debate constitutes a support tool in the formation of the students of Medicine, since it favors a major professional quality and helps to enrich their cultural background. This way, the student turns into leading agent of his preparation while stimulating his knowledge, his inquisitive mentality and the gnoseologic interest that leads him from science to life benefiting of an ethical position before the population with whom it has to interact propitiating the achievement of a suitable professional competence.

RESUMO

Este artigo trata da relação entre o imaginário do cinema sobre a velhice e a vivência do envelhecimento num processo de cine-debate, no Distrito Federal. Objetiva-se a discussão da velhice em filmes contemporâneos e das representações sociais dos participantes. A metodologia do trabalho articula a pesquisa participante com a expressão construtivista de saberes a partir da apresentação e discussão de sete filmes em 2014 com aproximadamente 50 pessoas idosas, em média, por sessão. O projeto fundamentou-se na "construção do espectador emancipado" (RANCIÈRE, 2008) e na ressignificação da velhice. Os temas relevantes (BARDIN, 2008) evidenciados a posteriori, a partir expressões dos participantes, foram: a família é fundamental; a felicidade pode existir no entardecer da vida; a velhice é continuidade da vida; a experiência do cine-debate propicia trocas e amizades e; é preciso ter um projeto de vida. Os temas repercutem as histórias apresentadas, mas vão além da representação imediata da velhice, pois se ancoram na família, na amizade e nos projetos de vida. (AU)


This article deals with the relation between the imaginary of the cinema on the old age and the experience of the aging in a process of cinema-debate, in the Federal District. Its objective is the discussion of old age in contemporary films and the social representations of the participants. The methodology articulates the participant research with the constructivist expression of knowledge from the presentation and discussion of seven films in 2014 with approximately 90 elderly people per session. The project was based on the "construction of the emancipated spectator" (RANCIÈRE, 2008) and the resignification of old age. The relevant themes (BARDIN, 2008), evidenced a posteriori, from the expressions of the participants were: the family is fundamental; happiness can exist in the evening of life; old age is the continuity of life; the experience of cinema-debate promotes exchanges and friendships; you have to have a life project. The themes reverberate the stories presented, but go beyond the immediate representation of old age, because they anchor in the family, the friendship and the projects of life. (AU)
