[Development of handshape tuina-cupping instrument based on pulsating airflow technology].

A new type of handshape tuina-cupping instrument is developed to overcome the shortcomings of traditional cupping therapy, such as indentation and pain, and simulates the tuina manipulation, so as to realize the combination of cupping therapy and tuina manipulation. The handshape tuina-cupping instrument has a trumpet-shaped, silica gel edge. At the same time, the finger-belly shape is added at the cupping edge to simulate the shape of fingers during tuina. Under the action of air suction and deflation of pulsating airflow, the purpose of simulating tuina manipulation is achieved, and the indentation and pain caused by the handshape tuina-cupping instrument is significantly less than that of the traditional cupping instrument.

This paper introduces the data of tested drugs in vitro, in animal and in clinical trials marketed and in research, in hoping of providing reference for the prevention and control of SARS-CoV-2.

[Development of non-traumatic-pain acupuncture-moxibustion apparatus and its industrialization].

In order to alleviate the discomforts induced by the invasive manipulation of acupuncture, improve the acceptability of acupuncture-moxibustion therapy and promote the application of it in healthcare, the research team developed the non-traumatic-pain acupuncture-moxibustion apparatus for disease treatment and prevention as well as healthcare, such as crude herbal moxibustion plus cupping device (cupping device), the healthcare cloth for warming the governor vessel (healthcare cloth) and the governor vessel intelligent diagnosis apparatus (diagnosis apparatus). Cupping device was developed through the integration of crude herb extract for moxibustion and silica gel, which is used specially on the governor vessel, Jiaji (EX-B2) and the bladder meridian of food-taiyang for chronic disorders and healthcare. The healthcare cloth was prepared with hi-tech thermal material and on the basis of yang nourishment of the governor vessel, acting on warming yang, benefiting qi and promoting qi circulation. It is applicable for the people of 7 body constitutions, such as neutral constitution, qi deficiency constitution and yang deficiency constitution to regulate the body constitution. The diagnosis apparatus integrates the functions of diagnosis and treatment as well as data analysis, implying the future of "internet+" medical development of TCM. The industrialization of non-traumatic-pain acupuncture-moxibustion apparatus should be guided under the national policy and use fully the advantage of internet so as to maintain and promote the people's health through the industry-university-research cooperation.

Discussion on research status and development ideas of biopotency for Chinese materia medica / 中草药

The quality control of Chinese materia medica (CMM) has been the focus of CMM modernization, and how to demonstrate the consistency of product quality and clinical efficacy has become an important research aspect of development and innovation of CMM. Due to the heterogeneity of CMM, it is necessary to combine biopotency with other detection methods to guarantee the quality of medicines. This article reviewed the research status of CMM biopotency, analyzed the global local government regulations about biopotency and the difficulties of development in CMM, and discussed development ideas of biopotency based on PK-PD for CMM. Its main aim is to provide reference for the construction of the follow-up quality evaluation system, and to promote recognition from the international drug administration management on CMM quality standard.

Fine materials with clear composition, stable content and high quality control conform to the international development trend of traditional Chinese medicine preparations. In this paper, the status of fine materials was analyzed, and the development ideas were tentatively put forward. On the one hand, the study on simple methods and efficient equipment shall be strengthened for the simultaneous separation of multiple components of traditional Chinese medicine; on the other hand, the knowledge for traditional Chinese medicine shall be broadened to further develop the scientific compatibility of monomers under the guidance of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
