RESUMO
El presente material tiene como objetivo fundamental, mostrar la perspectiva de la Neuropsicología Cognitiva en el manejo del paciente afásico, partiendo del análisis de las limitaciones fundamentales que muestra la perspectiva clásica en neuropsicología durante el diagnóstico y la rehabilitación de las afasias y de las ventajas que ofrece, tanto para el neuropsicólogo como para el paciente, la forma en que aborda la Neuropsicología Cognitiva, el problema de la afasia y el manejo general los déficits neuropsicológicos que muestra el paciente con daño cerebral. Pues, desde los primeros trabajos sobre las afasias presentados por Broca y Wernicke, éstas han sido abordadas desde una perspectiva de correlación anátomo-clínica, que a pesar de haber evolucionado durante más de 100 años de investigación, ha mantenido en su esencia una tendencia sindrómica, que aunque constituye un sistema de comunicación entre especialistas para la descripción de los cuadros clínicos que muestran los pacientes, no logra especificar los componentes del Sistema de Procesamiento del Lenguaje responsables del funcionamiento deficitario en el paciente afásico, como si lo hace la perspectiva de trabajo de la neuropsicología cognitiva, ni satisface el total de exigencias que implica el sutil diagnóstico diferencial que implican las afasias, tan importante para la adecuada rehabilitación de los déficits(AU)
The present paper has as main objective to show the perspective of the Cognitive Neuropsychology in patients suffering from Aphasia, since the analysis of the main limitations that shows the classical perspective on Neuropsychology during the diagnostic and the rehabilitation of patients with Aphasias and the advantages that offers for the Neuropsychologist as well as for the patient the form that rapprochements the Cognitive Neuropsychology the Aphasias problem and the general management of the neurological deficits that shows the patient with brain injury, since the first works presented by Broca and Wernicke, that aphasia has been rapprochement from the anatomic-clinical perspective , though it has developed during more than 100 years of research, has kept in its essence a syndrome tendency even when it constitutes a system of communication among the specialists for the description of the clinical features that patients show it can not specified the components of the Language Process System that are responsible of the deficit function in the patient suffering from Aphasia, the same if it is done from the perspective of the Cognitive Neuropsychology, neither satisfy the total of demanding aspects that implies the subtle differential diagnostic that implies the Aphasias so important for the adequate rehabilitation of deficits(AU)
