RESUMO

The psychological problems and employment problems of college students have always been the focus of attention of all sectors of society. The COVID-19 epidemic has a great impact on the mental health and employment of Chinese college students. Under this background, this study discusses how epidemic anxiety affects the employment confidence and perception of employment situation of Chinese college students. Through the online questionnaire survey of 1,132 college students nationwide, and the ordinal logistic regression analysis of the survey data using Stata 16.0 software, the results show that: (1) Epidemic anxiety negatively affects Chinese college students' employment confidence and employment situation perception, and has a significant impact on employment confidence. The three control variables of employment guidance, older age and higher education have a significant positive impact on college students' employment confidence and employment situation perception. College students in the eastern region have stronger employment confidence and more optimistic employment situation perception. But the expected monthly salary is negatively correlated with employment confidence. (2) Male college students and Science and Engineering students' epidemic anxiety have a stronger negative impact on employment confidence and employment situation perception. (3) Employment guidance has a moderating effect on the relationship between epidemic anxiety, employment confidence and employment situation perception. Employment guidance can enhance college students' employment confidence and reduce their sense of employment crisis by alleviating epidemic anxiety. Combined with the research conclusions, it is proposed that the state and schools should pay attention to the psychological counseling of college students, strengthen the employment guidance of colleges and universities, vigorously support the development of small, medium-sized and micro enterprises, and improve the employment and entrepreneurship service system of college students, so as to promote the employment of college students.

With the popularization of higher education and the promotion of college enrollment expansion, the number of college graduates increases sharply. At the same time, the continuous transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure put forward higher requirements on the employability of college students, which leads to the imbalance between supply and demand in the labor market. The key to dealing with employment difficulties lie in the improvement of college students' employability. Therefore, we make a regression analysis of 263 valid samples from universities in Anhui Province and extract the factors that influence the improvement of college students' employability in the process of talent cultivation in university. The result shows that there is a positive correlation between course setting, course teaching, club activities, and college students' employability, among which the course teaching and club activities are the most critical factors which may influence college students' employability. In addition, from the viewpoint of individual college students, the overall grades of college students and the time of participating in the internship are also closely related to their employability, i.e., college students with good overall grades and long internship time should also have stronger employability.

BACKGROUND: Career intention is closely related to the distribution of university graduates across sectors in pharmacy-related field. The aim of the study was to describe career intention and identify its influencing factors among final-year pharmacy undergraduate students in China. METHODS: A questionnaire study on demographic characteristics, educational situation, family background, occupational value and career intention was conducted among final-year pharmacy undergraduate students at three universities in northwest China. Exploratory factor analysis was used to identify the constructs of occupational value. Multinominal logistic regression was adopted to analyse the factors influencing career intention. RESULTS: Among the 275 student participants, 62.6% intended to work in public medical institutions (rural: 44.4%; urban: 18.2%), 26.5% aimed to work in the pharmaceutical industry, 6.5% wanted to work in other sectors in the pharmacy-related field, and 4.4% planned to work in other fields. Their gender, father's education level, monthly household income per capita, whose opinions were considered most during job selection, the self-gratification factor of occupational value, and employment guidance had significant impacts on students' career intentions. CONCLUSION: In the Chinese background, the career intention of more than half of the undergraduate pharmacy students was to work in public medical institutions. The career intentions of the overall participants were mainly determined by their gender, family background as well as psychological self-gratification, and they could also be influenced by employment guidance.

Objective To understand employment directions and levels of the graduates majoring in health service management, so as to provide reference for talent cultivation and employment guidance for future graduates. Methods Collecting the data of employment directions of 244 graduates from 2014 to 2016 majoring in health service management from Nanjing Medical University and analyzing the dynamic trend of employment directions. Data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0. Results There was no significant dif-ference in the employment rate among graduates from 2014 to 2016. The proportion of female graduates choosing to do postgraduate work in mainland China was 19.7%( 34/173), higher than that of male 12.7% (9/71). The proportion of female graduates choosing directly to work was 65.3% (113/173), lower than that of male 76.1% (54/71), and the differences were statistically significant. The proportion of graduates working in upper first-class hospitals was relatively higher 39.1% (45/115), and the employment rate of that working in non-public general hospitals increased year by year. Conclusion In order to effectively ease the problem of employment imbalance, the related departments of the university should strengthen employment guidance, timely update the mentality about employment among graduates, and abandon the inherent employment orientation of large public hospitals and economically developed areas.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the further implementation of employment guidance for graduate students ma-joring in Chinese pharmacy. METHODS:According to literature analysis,questionnaires,field visits and other ways,the current status and problems of employment guidance for graduate students majoring in Chinese pharmacy were investigted and the employ ment guidance pattern for graduate students majoring in Chinese pharmacy was explored and constructed. RESULTS:Theone body and three wingsemployment guidance pattern centered by taxonomy guiding and establishment of employment guidance institu-tions,graduate tutor selection evaluation mechanism and employment services platform were established. CONCLUSIONS:The em-ployment guidance pattern for graduate students majoring Chinese pharmacy established by the institute has great significance for im-plementing the work.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate and analyze the influencing factors of community nursing cognition and employment intention of higher vocational nursing students,and provide reference for higher vocational colleges to carry out community nursing education and employment guidance.Methods Using the stratified cluster sampling method,nursing students from different grades and different education levels were selected as the object of study and participate in the questionnaire survey.Results The nursing students from different grades,education levels and areas showed significant difference in community nursing and employment intention.Conclusions Higher vocational nursing colleges should strengthen the community nursing practice education and community employment guidance; improve the community nursing cognition and community employment intention of nursing students.

Based on the follow-up investigation made on the employment of university graduates in pharmacy,we analyzed the situation of their jobs,salary and their attitude towards pharmacy and suggested some mothods to promote the graduates employment and give the students the career guidance.Up to now,492 students have graduated,the first employment rate was 78%,and last employment rate was 100%.
