RESUMO

To start with an infinitely repeated game of supply chains of public goods, a stout reciprocity mechanism is introduced into income games to build a matric dynamic equation. The conventional evolutionary game method is employed to propose a model called the evolutionary game for the cooperative strategy of both the manufacturer and the seller groups in the supply chain of public goods. Also, white Gaussian noise (WGN) is added to reflect random interference in the evolution process. Then, a stochastic dynamic system is established, and Ito's differential equation is used to analyze both sides' strategy evolution in a game, interpret changes in system stability when random disturbance is added, and finally test the influence of different situations on the system stability by running a numerical simulation. The research shows that the stronger the reciprocity coefficient is, and the system is subjected to random interference, the greater the strategy choice change in players' decision-making procedures when the repeated game of public goods is conducted.

RESUMO

In recent years, considerable attention has focused on high-performance and flexible crystalline metal oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs). However, achieving both high performance and flexibility in semiconductor devices is challenging due to the inherently conductive and brittle nature of crystalline metal oxide. In this study, we propose a facile way to overcome this limitation by employing a junctionless (JL) TFT structure via oxygen plasma treatment of the crystalline indium-tin oxide (ITO) films. The oxygen plasma treatment significantly reduced oxygen vacancies in the ITO films, contributing to the significant reduction in the carrier concentration from 4.67 × 1020 to 1.39 × 1016. Importantly, this reduction was achieved without inducing any noticeable structural changes in the ITO, enabling the successful realization of ITO JL TFTs with an adjustable threshold voltage. Furthermore, the ITO JL TFTs demonstrate good stability and reliability under various bias stress conditions, aging in the air atmosphere, and high-temperature processes. In addition, the ITO JL TFTs exhibit low light sensitivity due to the wide bandgap of ITO and further suppression of Vo defects, making them suitable for applications requiring stable performance under light exposure. To compare and analyze the flexibility of the JL structure and conventional structure with additional source/drain (S/D) junction in ITO TFTs with nonencapsulation, we utilized mechanical simulations and transmission line method (TLM). By employing the JL structure in ITO TFT through carefully optimized oxygen plasma treatment, we successfully mitigated stress concentration at the S/D-channel interface. This resulted in a JL ITO TFT that exhibited a change in contact resistance of less than 20% even after 20,000 bending cycles. Consequently, a stable and flexible ITO TFT with field-effect mobility (µFE) of 12.74 cm2/(V s) was realized, outperforming conventionally structured ITO TFTs with additional S/D junction, where the contact resistance nearly tripled.

RESUMO

We study, both theoretically and experimentally, strong interaction between a quasi-bound state in the continuum (QBIC) supported by a resonant metasurface with an epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) guided mode excited in an ultrathin ITO layer. We observe and quantify the strong coupling regime of the QBIC-ENZ interaction in the hybrid metasurface manifested through the mode splitting over 200 meV. We also measure experimentally the resonant nonlinear response enhanced near the ENZ frequency and observe the effective nonlinear refractive index up to ∼4 × 10-13 m2/W in the ITO-integrated dielectric nanoresonators, which provides a promising platform for low-power nonlinear photonic devices.

RESUMO

A series of TiN/ITO composite films with various thickness of ITO buffer layer were fabricated in this study. The enhancement of optical properties was realized in the composite thin films. The absorption spectra showed that absorption intensity in the near-infrared region was obviously enhanced with the increase of ITO thickness due to the coupling of surface plasma between TiN and ITO. The epsilon-near-zero wavelength of this composite can be tuned from 935 nm to 1895 nm by varying the thickness of ITO thin films. The nonlinear optical property investigated by Z-scan technique showed that the nonlinear absorption coefficient (ß = 3.03 × 10-4 cm/W) for the composite was about 14.02 times greater than that of single-layer TiN films. The theoretical calculations performed by finite difference time domain were in good agreement with those of the experiments.

RESUMO

This study examined the impact of temperature optimization on indium tin oxide (ITO) films in monolithic HJT/perovskite tandem solar cells. ITO films were deposited using magnetron sputtering at temperatures ranging from room temperature (25 °C) to 250 °C. The sputtering target was ITO, with a mass ratio of In2O3 to SnO2 of 90% to 10%. The effects of temperature on the ITO film were analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), spectroscopic ellipsometry, and sheet resistance measurements. Results showed that all ITO films exhibited a polycrystalline morphology, with diffraction peaks corresponding to planes (211), (222), (400), (440), and (622), indicating a cubic bixbyite crystal structure. The light transmittance exceeded 80%, and the sheet resistance was 75.1 Ω/sq for ITO deposited at 200 °C. The optical bandgap of deposited ITO films ranged between 3.90 eV and 3.93 eV. Structural and morphological characterization of the perovskite solar cell was performed using XRD and FE-SEM. Tandem solar cell performance was evaluated by analyzing current density-voltage characteristics under simulated sunlight. By optimizing the ITO deposition temperature, the tandem cell achieved a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 16.74%, resulting in enhanced tandem cell efficiency.

RESUMO

Flexible perovskite solar cells (f-PSCs) have achieved significant success. However, high-quality tin dioxide (SnO2) electron transport layers (ETLs) fabricated via chemical bath deposition (CBD) have not been achieved on flexible PEN/ITO substrates. This limitation is primarily due to the corrosion of the poor-quality ITO layer by the strongly acidic CBD solution. Here, we analyzed the reasons for the poor corrosion resistance of ITO films on PEN substrate from multiple perspectives, such as element composition, microstructure, and crystallinity. Then, we proposed a modified CBD method for SnO2films suitable for flexible PEN/ITO substrates. We employed SnCl2·2H2O as the tin source and regulated the pH of the CBD solution by NH3·H2O, which effectively avoided the corrosion of the ITO layer by the CBD solution and achieved high-quality SnO2films on the ITO layers. Compared to the commercial SnO2dispersion, the SnO2films prepared by this method have smaller grains and higher transmittance. As a result, we achieved an unprecedented power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.71% for f-PSCs fabricated on PEN/ITO substrates with SnO2ETLs by CBD method. This breakthrough facilitates the development of high-performance f-PSCs by a low-cost and large-scale chemical bath deposition of high-quality ETLs on flexible substrates.

RESUMO

In this paper, a novel silicon-on-chip integrated 4 × 1 wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) multiplexer has been developed. This is the first time that the multiplexer design incorporates arrayed electro-optical modulators with crosstalk cancellation. The design utilizes two types of electro-optic modulators in each channel. The first modulator, based on 1D-PhCNBC, extracts the desired wavelengths from the WDM spectrum. The second modulator, based on coupled hybrid plasmonics, acts as a switch to eliminate crosstalk of the desired optic wavelength signal at the multiplexer output. By combining the advantages of electro-optical modulators and crosstalk cancellation techniques, we anticipate that our proposed design contributes to the advancement of WDM multiplexing technology and facilitates the implementation of efficient and compact optical communication systems. Additionally, this synergy enables enhanced performance, reduced signal interference, and improved signal quality, leading to more reliable and high-speed data transmission in optical networks. The functionality of the device is theoretically simulated using 3D-FDTD (Finite-Difference Time-Domain) method.

RESUMO

Sputtered indium tin oxide (ITO) fulfills the requirements of top transparent electrodes (TTEs) in semitransparent perovskite solar cells (PSCs) and stacked tandem solar cells (TSCs), as well as of the recombination layers in monolithic TSCs. However, the high-energy ITO particles will cause damage to the devices. Herein, the interface reactive sputtering strategy is proposed to construct cost-effective TTEs with high transmittance and excellent carrier transporting ability. Polyethylenimine (PEI) is chosen as the interface reactant that can react with sputtered ITO nanoparticles, so that, coordination compounds can be formed during the deposition process, facilitating the carrier transport at the interface of C60/PEI/ITO. Besides, the impact force of energetic ITO particles is greatly alleviated, and the intactness of the underlying C60 layer and perovskite layer is guaranteed. Thus, the prepared semitransparent subcells achieve a significantly enhanced power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 19.17%, surpassing those based on C60/ITO (11.64%). Moreover, the PEI-based devices demonstrate excellent storage stability, which maintains 98% of their original PCEs after 2000 h. On the strength of the interface reactive sputtering ITO electrode, a stacked all-perovskite TSC with a PCE of 26.89% and a monolithic perovskite-organic TSC with a PCE of 24.33% are successfully fabricated.

RESUMO

Naevus of Ito and naevus of Ota are benign dermal melanocytoses with similar pathogenic mechanisms of failure in the melanocyte migration to typical locations within the basal layer from neural crest cells and differ in distribution. Bilateral and oral mucosal involvement of naevus of Ota can occur but is infrequent. Naevus of Ito is seldom associated with naevus of Ota and extracutaneous manifestations. A review of the English literature showed 14 cases of naevus of Ota with palatal involvement. None showed bilateral involvement of both naevi with oral involvement. Here we report the case of bilateral naevus of Ito and bilateral naevus of Ota with palatal involvement. A 32-year-old male came to us with naevus of Ito on both sides of his back and naevus of Ota on both sides of his face involving the sclera of both eyes with a bluish lesion along the midline of the hard palate.

RESUMO

In this study, the electrical performance and bias stability of InSnO/a-InGaZnO (ITO/a-IGZO) heterojunction thin-film transistors (TFTs) are investigated. Compared to a-IGZO TFTs, the mobility (µFE) and bias stability of ITO/a-IGZO heterojunction TFTs are enhanced. The band alignment of the ITO/a-IGZO heterojunction is analyzed by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). A conduction band offset (∆EC) of 0.5 eV is observed in the ITO/a-IGZO heterojunction, resulting in electron accumulation in the formed potential well. Meanwhile, the ∆EC of the ITO/a-IGZO heterojunction can be modulated by nitrogen doping ITO (ITON), which can affect the carrier confinement and transport properties at the ITO/a-IGZO heterojunction interface. Moreover, the carrier concentration distribution at the ITO/a-IGZO heterointerface is extracted by means of TCAD silvaco 2018 simulation, which is beneficial for enhancing the electrical performance of ITO/a-IGZO heterojunction TFTs.

RESUMO

A biosensing electrochemical platform for heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) has been developed by integrating a three-electrode indium tin oxide (ITO) on a chip. The platform includes modifications to the reference electrode and working electrode for the detection of HSP70. The new platform is constructed by assembly of HSP70 antibody on PS-AuNPs@Cys/Au indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode to create a high HSP70 sensitive surface. The PS-AuNPs@Cys/Au indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode is obtained by immersing the ITO electrode into the PS-AuNPs@Cys solution and performing constant potential deposition at -1.4 V (Ag/AgCl). The PS-AuNPs@Cys/Au film deposited on ITO glass provides a desirable substrate for the immobilization of the HSP70 antibody and improves the loading of antibody between PS-AuNPs@Cys/Au and the electrode resulting in a significant amplification. Under optimal conditions, the fabricated sensor demonstrates a linear range extending from 0.1 ng mL- 1 to 1000 ng mL- 1, with an impressive detection limit of 25.7 pg mL- 1 (S/N = 3). The developed immunoassay method successfully detected the HSP70 content in normal human blood samples and outperformed the ELISA method commonly used for clinical sample analysis.

RESUMO

Protein generation has numerous applications in designing therapeutic antibodies and creating new drugs. Still, it is a demanding task due to the inherent complexities of protein structures and the limitations of current generative models. Proteins possess intricate geometry, and sampling their conformational space is challenging due to its high dimensionality. This paper introduces novel Markovian and non-Markovian generative diffusion models based on fractional stochastic differential equations and the Lévy distribution, allowing for a more effective exploration of the conformational space. The approach is applied to a dataset of 40,000 proteins and evaluated in terms of Fréchet distance, fidelity, and diversity, outperforming the state-of-the-art by 25.4%, 35.8%, and 11.8%, respectively.

RESUMO

Efficient and stable photocathodes are crucial for the development of photoelectrochemical (PEC) water-splitting devices. Silicon heterojunction (SHJ) solar cell is one of the most advanced photovoltaic cells. However, due to the instability of its outermost indium tin oxide (ITO) layers in the electrolyte, a protective layer needs to be introduced on its surface. Previously reported high-quality protective layers almost all involved the use of expensive thin film manufacturing techniques such as atomic layer deposition (ALD). In this work, for the first time, a new strategy is proposed of modifying SHJ-based photocathode with yttrium hydroxide (Y(OH)3) through two-step solution methods to simultaneously improve the stability and activity. The optimized SHJ photocathode exhibits a high applied bias photon-to-current efficiency (ABPE) of 8.4% under simulated 100 mW cm-2 (1 Sun) with an AM 1.5G filter in 0.5 m KOH. Furthermore, the obtained SHJ photocathode demonstrates excellent stability of at least 110 h at 0.3 V versus RHE. In this work, combining facile direct current magnetron sputtering with a solution treatment technique provides a novel design strategy, which lowers the threshold for preparing high-quality protective layer, and paves the way for developing economic, efficient, and stable SHJ-based PEC devices.

RESUMO

Resident macrophages of various mammalian organs are characterized by several distinctive features in their gene expression profile and phenotype, including involvement in the regulation of organ functions, as well as reduced sensitivity to proinflammatory activation factors. The reasons for the formation of such a specific phenotype remain the subject of intensive research. Some papers emphasize the role of the origin of organ macrophages. Other studies indicate that monocytes that develop in the red bone marrow are also able to form resident macrophages with a phenotype characteristic of a particular organ, but this requires appropriate microenvironmental conditions. In this article, we studied the possibility of differentiation of monocyte-derived macrophages into cells with a Kupffer-like phenotype under the influence of the main stromal components of Kupffer cells macrophage niche: Ito cells, liver sinusoid endotheliocytes and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF). It was found that Kupffer cells are characterized by several features, including increased expression of transcription factors Spic and Id3, as well as MUP family genes, Clusterin and Ngp genes. In addition, Kupffer cells were characterized by a higher proliferative activity. The expression of marker genes of Kupffer cells (i.e. Id3, Spic, Marco and Timd4) increased in monocyte-derived macrophages during coculture with Ito cells, liver sinusoid endothelial cells, macrophage colony-stimulating factor and HGF cells only by 3 days. However, the expression level of these genes was always higher in Kupffer cells. In addition, a complete coincidence of the expressed gene profile in monocyte-derived macrophages and Kupffer cells did not occur even after 3 days of culturing.

RESUMO

Herein, we made 3D MXene-AuNPs by in situ growth of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) on the surface of MXene by chemical reduction method, and then introduced three sulfhydryl (-SH) compounds as functionalized modifiers attached to the AuNPs to form a highly selective composite material for the detection of Pb2+, Cu2+, and Hg2+, respectively. The doping of AuNPs changes the microstructure of 2D MXene and generates more active sites. On a sensing platform based on ITO array electrodes, the detection system was optimised with sensitivities up to 1.157, 0.846 and 0.799 µA·µg-1Lcm-2 (Pb2+, Cu2+, and Hg2+). The selectivity of MXene@AuNPs was effectively improved by sulfhydryl group modification. In the range of 1-1300 µg L-1, the detection limits of three ions were 0.07, 0.13 and 0.21 µg L-1. In addition, this method can efficiently and accurately detect heavy metal ions in four cereal samples with consistent results with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.

RESUMO

Here we report on an experimental and theoretical investigation of the long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) photoresponse of photodetectors based on arrays of three million InP nanowires with axially embedded InAsP quantum discs. An ultra-thin top indium tin oxide contact combined with a novel photogating mechanism facilitates an improved LWIR normal incidence sensitivity in contrast to traditional planar quantum well photodetectors. The electronic structure of the quantum discs, including strain and defect-induced photogating effects, and optical transition matrix elements were calculated by an 8-bandk·psimulation along with solving drift-diffusion equations to unravel the physics behind the generation of narrow linewidth intersubband signals observed from the quantum discs.

RESUMO

In this study, we have fabricated a 368 nm LED with an epitaxial Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) contact layer. We analyze the thermal performance of the flip-chip LED with a symmetric electrode and metal reflective layer, applying ANSYS to build a coupled electro-thermal finite element model (FEM) of the temperature distribution in the multiple quantum wells (MQWs). We compare our system with the traditional Au-bump flip-chip LED and a flip-chip LED with a Distributed Bragg Reflector (DBR) layer. The simulation results have shown that the flip-chip LED with a metal reflective layer and symmetric electrode exhibits better heat dissipation performance, particularly at high input power. The influence of the insulating layer on the LED chip junction temperature is also examined. The simulation data establish an effect due to the thermal conductivity of the insulating layer in terms of heat dissipation, but this effect is negligible at an insulation layer thickness ≤1 µm.

RESUMO

Bottom-gate thin-film transistors (TFTs) with n-type amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide (a-IGZO) active channels and indium-tin oxide (ITO) source/drain electrodes were fabricated. Then, an ultraviolet (UV) nanosecond pulsed laser with a wavelength of 355 nm was scanned to locally anneal the active channel at various laser powers. After laser annealing, negative shifts in the threshold voltages and enhanced on-currents were observed at laser powers ranging from 54 to 120 mW. The energy band gap and work function of a-IGZO extracted from the transmittance and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) measurement data confirm that different energy band structures for the ITO electrode/a-IGZO channel were established depending on the laser annealing conditions. Based on these observations, the electron injection mechanism from ITO electrodes to a-IGZO channels was analyzed. The results show that the selective laser annealing process can improve the electrical performance of the a-IGZO TFTs without any thermal damage to the substrate.

RESUMO

This work presents highly responsive gate-controlled p-GaN/AlGaN/GaN ultraviolet photodetectors (UVPDs) on Si substrates with a high-transmittance ITO gate. The two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in the quantum well of the polarized AlGaN/GaN heterojunction was efficiently depleted by the p-GaN gate, leading to a high photo-to-dark current ratio (PDCR) of 3.2 × 105. The quantum wells of the p-GaN/AlGaN and AlGaN/GaN heterojunctions can trap the holes and electrons excited by the UV illumination, thus efficiently triggering a photovoltaic effect and photoconductive effect, separately. Furthermore, the prepared photodetectors allow flexible adjustment of the static bias point, making it adaptable to different environments. Compared to traditional thin-film semi-transparent Ni/Au gates, indium tin oxide (ITO) exhibits higher transmittance. Under 355 nm illumination, the photodetector exhibited a super-high responsivity exceeding 3.5 × 104 A/W, and it could even exceed 106 A/W under 300 nm illumination. The well-designed UVPD combines both the advantages of the high-transmittance ITO gate and the structure of the commercialized p-GaN/AlGaN/GaN high-electron-mobility transistors (HEMTs), which opens a new possibility of fabricating large-scale, low-cost, and high-performance UVPDs in the future.
