RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: To explore the expressions of c-fos and c-myc in skin lesion of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). METHODS: Using retrospective analysis, 73 cases of CSCC were selected from Department of Dermatology, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, which were removed between January 2000 and January 2012. It was considered as experimental group. Meanwhile, 11 cases of normal skin specimens of non tumor patients were selected as control group. The expression level of c-fos and c-myc was compared in the two groups. RESULTS: The expressions of c-fos [72.60% (53/73)] and c-myc [83.56% (61/73)] in experimental group were statistically significant (P≤0.05) compared with control group (0%). Expression of c-myc protein was negatively related to differentiation of CSCC. The difference was statistically significant (χ(2)=7.26, P=0.001<0.05). While expression of c-fos protein was positively related to differentiation of CSCC, which was statistically significant (χ(2)=7.47, P=0.001 2<0.025). CONCLUSIONS: The expression level of c-fos and c-myc can be used as an important indicator of CSCC differentiation, and it has closely connection with the differentiated degree, which can guide clinical prognosis.

RESUMO

Objective To detect the effect of leptin on proliferation and c.Myc mRNA expression of human colon carcinoma HT-29 cell line and investigate the role of Leptin in the development of the HT-29 cell line. Methods Human colon carcinoma HT-29 cell line was cultured in vitro. After treatment with various concentration of Leptin for 72h.MTr was used to detect the proliferative and inhibitive status. And c-myc mRNA-expression Was detected by RT-PCR.Results After treatment with various concentration of Leptin. The cell pmlifemtion and c-myc mRNA expression Wag obviously promoted, compared with the control group. The effect wag in a time-dose-dependent manner within a certain range. Conclusion Leptin can improve cell proliferation and c-myc gene expression level in HT-29 cell line.Promoting the c-myc gene expression level may be one of the reasons that Leptin improves the proliferation of the human colon carcinoma HT-29 cell line.

RESUMO

Objective:To study the expression of suppressor of cytokine signaling 1(SOCS1) and cellular myelocytomatosis oncogene(c-myc)in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and to inves-tigate the relation between the expression of SOCS1 and c-myc in HCC.Methods:The expressions of SOCS1 and c-myc protein of 41 HCC tissues and surrounding tissues,as well as the tissues of 11 normal cases, were detected by immunohistochemical(IHC)staining using SP method. The expression of SOCS1 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR.And the clinical and pathological data were analysed. Results:Compared with the para-carcinoma and normal liver tissue, the levels of SOCS1 and SOCS1 mRNA in HCC tissues were significantly lower(P

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the role of p53, rasp21 and C-myc in gastric carcinogenesis. Methods Expression and distribution feature of p53, rasp21 and C-myc in 60 cases of human gastric cancer were detected with immunohistochemical SP (Streptavidin-Peroxidase) staining. Results The positive rate of expression was respectively 51.7% for p53, 40.0% for rasp21, and 66.7% for C-myc, while in the gastric mucous membrane adjacent to carcinoma they were respectively 1.6% for p53, 13.3% for rasp21, and 15.0% for C-myc. The differences in expression of p53, rasp21 and C-myc oncoproteins in carcinoma and non-carcinoma tissues were very significant (P

RESUMO

Objective To explore the relationship between oxidative stress inducing neuronal apoptosis and the protein expressions of c-Myc, Fas-FasL and nuclear factor ?B (NF-?B) in neurons. Methods The primarily cultured neurons of SD rat in vitro were divided into 5 groups: Group A (control), Group B (treated with hypoxia), Group C (treated with small dose of H 2O 2), Group D (treated with hypoxia and SOD) and Group E (treated with H 2O 2 and SOD). Then, the neuronal apoptosis was elevated with TUNEL,Gel electrophoresis and flow cytometry. The protein expressions of c-Myc, Fas-FasL and NF-?B were detected with immunohistochemistry. Results Apoptosis rates of the Groups B and C were 6 and 8 times than that of the Group A respectively ( P
