RESUMO

This study aims to evaluate the effect of rhythm training in the early coordination development and to find out its role in the transfer of specific performance in young swimmers. Eighty young swimmers aged eight to twelve were divided randomly into a control group (CON, n = 40, M/F=17/23) or an experimental group (EXP, n = 40, M/F=19/21). A total of 72 swimmers completed all the training programs and tests included in this study (CON, n = 35, M/F=15/20; EXP, n = 37, M/F=16/21). The training programme lasted 12 weeks. During the study period, all groups participated in the same swimming training program with the control group participating six times a week, and the experimental group participating four times a week with an additional two rhythm trainings each week. The height, weight, walking backwards ability, jumping sideways ability, and 25 m freestyle were measured for each participant and an index of coordination was analyzed from recordings of the participant's 25 m freestyle. The results indicated that participation in rhythm training resulted in improved general motor and swimming-specific coordination among the swimmers, but the results varied by number of years of sport-specific training experience. The swimmers with more training experience improved more in swimming-specific coordination but less in general motor coordination. This study strengthens the evidence for the effectiveness of early rhythm training in swimmers, indicating that it is feasible to design programs to address general and sport-specific coordination in young athletes.

RESUMO

The development of social economy often requires a large consumption of water resources, and will also discharge a large amount of pollutants to the environment. Currently, the rapid development of regional water resources, social economy and ecological environment (WSE) complex system encounters significant challenges, and the coordination development of WSE complex system becomes important and necessary condition of regional sustainable development. Therefore, to scientifically evaluate the coordination development state of WSE system, based on the establishment of evaluation index system, the connection number and distance coordination model coupling approach for the coordination development evaluation of WSE complex system was proposed in this manuscript. The application results of the proposed method in Anhui Province, China indicate that, during 2011-2020, the coordination level of Anhui province is relatively high, and the coordination grade of most cities are in grade I or II. The coordination development degree of Anhui province presented a distinct improving trend with time, from most cities in grade IV or V in 2011 to most cities in grade II in 2020, from the worst 0.0580 in 2011 to the best 0.9200 in 2020. In terms of space, the coordinated development level of southern Anhui is higher than that of northern Anhui. Meanwhile, the coordination development status of the 16 cities in Anhui province can be divided into three patterns according to its historical variation characteristics, i.e., coordination development mode, ecological environment backward mode, and social and economic backward mode. Compared with the commonly used coordination evaluation method, the method of this paper can solve the problem of homogenization, and its calculation results are more reasonable and practical.

RESUMO

This study proposed an investigation-based multiple-criteria coordinated model to evaluate the sustainable development of urban public transport (PT) infrastructure, based on economic, social and environmental data from 2009 to 2019. The main problem with the traditional approach for assessing urban PT development is that economic and social benefits are considered individually, but also attention to environmental factors and coordination among the three issues are nearly overlooked. This leads to the likelihood of inaccuracies in the handling/assessment of sustainable development or an imbalance among the attributes in different cities. An investigation-based coordinated model was introduced in which a survey of 35 sub-criteria was conducted to derive the criteria necessary for coupling/coordination. A case study involving 13 cities in Jiangsu Province, China, illustrated the problems in coordinating PT systems and verified the efficacy of the proposed approach. With employing the entropy method, this study validated coordination of the PT infrastructure development of various cities in a balanced manner and used panel regression formulas to analyse the theoretical gap and empirical bottlenecks existing among economic, social and environmental benefits. With the findings of the study, the data-based investigation from 13 cities enabled the city planners/managers (including ones from other cities with similar urban levels) to give the individual priority between the ternary benefits, advance technology, allow big data-based informatisation and implement near-future autonomous PT vehicles.

RESUMO

Rapid urbanization and industrialization in the coastal zone have caused increasingly serious impacts on coastal ecosystems. It is necessary to assess the ecological risk caused by human activities to determine key areas of terrestrial-oceanic ecosystems preservation and restoration to ensure sustainable ecological management in the coastal zone. Key areas of ecosystem preservation and restoration were studied through the assessment of the impacts of ecological pressure sources related to human activities from the perspective of terrestrial-oceanic ecosystems, using the habitat risk assessment (HRA) and habitat quality (HQ) models in the Chinese coastal zone. The results showed that the impact of human activities on the terrestrial ecosystems in the South of China was significantly lower than that in the North. An improvement rate of habitat quality was noticed only in the south and central coastal areas when further away from industrial land. Agricultural production, urban expansion, and industrial pollution had major negative impacts on the habitat quality of terrestrial ecosystems in the Chinese coastal zone, and also threatened the health of marine ecosystems. The ecological risks caused by human activities in the offshore areas of northern Shandong and eastern Jiangsu were relatively low. Mineral development in the north, excessive nitrogen and phosphorus emissions from agricultural production in the south, and port operations were important drivers of increased ecological risks in offshore areas. There were regional spatial differences in the key ecosystem preservation and restoration areas. The provinces of Shandong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Liaoning, and Guangdong are key areas for strengthening the preservation and restoration of terrestrial-oceanic ecosystems. This study provides a reference for large-scale territorial spatial planning and ecosystems conservation.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To provide reference for the coordinated development of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy in the central and western regions of China. METHODS: With reference to China High-tech Industry Statistical Yearbook in 2011-2017 and China Statistical Yearbook in 2011-2017, relevant data of 14 provinces (municipatities, automous regions) in the central and western regions during 2010-2016 were collected, and a comprehensive evaluation index system and coupling coordination model of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy were constructed, and the coupling coordinated relationship between pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy in the central and western regions of China were analyzed. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: During 2010-2016, the comprehensive development level of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and the regional economy in the central and western was on the rise, but the growth rate was relatively slow; the provinces in the central region were better than the western provinces. There were obvious coupling characteristics between the pharmaceutical manufacturing system and the regional economic system, and the coupling coordination degree had an obvious upward trend in 2010-2016. Although there were fluctuations during the period, the fluctuation degree was small and the overall trend was rising. Among them, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy of Shanxi, Guangxi, Yunnan and Xinjiang had the same degree of coupling and coordination, which showed that the coupling coordination degree of them were greatly affected by the development of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry; Inner Mongolia, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu had same coupling coordination degree and fluctuation course of regional economic development, which showed that the coupling coordination degree of them was greatly influenced by the development of regional economy; Anhui and Hunan had same coupling coordination degree with the development of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy. The development of their pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy were on the rise, which showed that they were both in the rising stage of development. The mutual promotion of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy showed that their coupling coordination was also improving. It is suggested to speed up the adjustment of industrial structure, promote the industrial transfer; pay attention to talent education, improve the talent reserve mechanism; increase the investment in fixed assets, improve infrastructure construction in central and western regions; increase the per capita disposable income of residents, promote the development of regional econorny,so as to premote the coordinated development of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and regional economy.
