RESUMO

Chinese medicinal resources are the material basis for the survival and development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and the sustainable development of Chinese medicinal resources is also an important project for the modernization of TCM in China. With the increasing demand for Chinese medicinal resources in China, over-exploitation has destroyed Chinese medicinal resources, resulting in a shortage of many natural medicinal resources in China and making the sustainable development of TCM in trouble. The introduced new foreign medicinal resources have become effective supplement and replacement for Chinese medicinal resources to some extent. However, the development and utilization of new foreign medicinal resources in China are different. To fully understand the development of new foreign medicinal resources in China, this paper, taking 43 new foreign medicinal resources such as Acacia nilotica as objects, sorted out the introduction forms and policies of new foreign medicinal resources, overviewed its current development status in China, summarized the application experience of new foreign medicinal resources in the place of origin, as well as the research progress and problems of new foreign medicinal resources in China and abroad, and analyzed the research situation, which can enrich Chinese medicinal resources and other uses, promote the sustainable development of Chinese medicinal resources, and provide ideas for further development and research of new foreign medicinal resources.

RESUMO

Foreign medicinal resources have always been an important part of Chinese medicine and have made great contributions to the development of the Chinese medical and health industry. Since the opening of the Silk Road in the Han Dynasty, foreign medicinal resources have been introduced for different purposes, some of which have become Chinese medicine in clinical practice and are still in use today.Today, foreign medicinal resources also serve the Big Health industry in China. They are introduced and applied to the fields in the Big Health industry, such as food, cosmetics, health products, decoction pieces, and daily chemical products. With the integration and development of the "Healthy China" initiative, more foreign resources will enter the Big Health industry. This paper retrospectedthe history of foreign medicinal resources serving the ancient medical and health industry, reviewedits current development under the Big Health industry, summarizedthe experience of foreign medicinal resources serving the ancient medical and health industry, as well as the development and problems of new foreign medicinal resources, and put forward some suggestions to provide ideas for the development and application of foreign medicinal resources under the Big Health industry.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo establish a specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method for the identification of Artemisia absinthium to allow accurate and convenient identification of A. absinthium and its related species. MethodThe chloroplast genome sequences of A. absinthium and its related species were searched from Chloroplast Genome Information Resource (CGIR), and the specific single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) sites of A. absinthium were screened out. A pair of specific identification primers (zykh1-F and zykh1-R) of A. absinthium was designed. The original plant samples of A. absinthium and its related species were collected. The specific PCR method was established and optimized, and the tolerance and feasibility of this method were investigated and verified. The method was used to identify A. absinthium samples purchased from Xinjiang medicinal materials market. ResultA 210 bp bright band was obtained from A. absinthium after PCR amplification and gel electrophoresis under the following conditions: specific primers zykh1-F and zykh1-R, annealing temperature of 54 ℃, and the number of cycles of 33. No such band was observed from its relative species, such as A. argyi, A. annua, A. leucophylla, and A. lavandulaefolia. ConclusionThe specific PCR identification method of established in this study can accurately identify A. absinthium and its common related species with high specificity. The method can save time and cost and allows a convenient and fast species identification for the introduction and utilization of A. absinthium resources.

RESUMO

The Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road were the important accesses for the exchanges of herbal medicine between the primary traditional medical systems in the ancient world, which also are the strategic links between the areas with herbal medicine widely used and the most active markets for herbs at present. This article focuses on the foreign medicinal resources introduced to traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) in China. As new resources of Chinese Materia Medica( CMM),the four basic conditions should be required, which are the clear origin, the safety and effectiveness in clinical, the efficacy and properties described with theory of TCM.Medicinal property is the key scientific problem of foreign medicinal resources introduced to TCM. The research strategies include three aspects. Medicinal properties of foreign medicinal resources will be deduced and analyzed across multiple medical systems by solving the difference depending on finding the similarities of traditional medical systems. The medicinal properties-efficacies of foreign medicinal resources will be identified by identifying Xiang and selecting similar CMM. And Xiang-properties-efficacies of foreign medicinal resources will be researched under formulae environment using medicinal properties.
