RESUMO

With the rapid development of modern biomedical technology industry, background and knowledge of a single discipline will not be adequate to meet the needs of research and development of cutting-edge technology. The cultivation of innovative research talents with interdisciplinary background at the undergraduate level poses great challenges for higher education institutions. National-level research institutes, including state key laboratories and national clinical research centers, for example, have an enormous supply of technological human resources and resources for research and teaching, which is of critical importance for the training of innovative talents at the undergraduate level. Herein, taking as an example the West China Innovation Class of State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, a special undergraduate program founded by the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, Sichuan University in 2016, we reported on the explorations and practices of a new model for cultivating innovative research talents at the undergraduate level. The new model features the leadership of a national-level research institute and an interdisciplinary approach.

RESUMO

With China's socioeconomic development, especially in the educational sector, foreign advanced education experience might not be omnipotent for the innovation and entrepreneurship education (IEE) in Chinese colleges. In response to such a difficult context, firstly, this study was conducted to analyze the applied innovative talent cultivation status quo in Chinese colleges under innovation and entrepreneurship. Then, the authors dug into the current situation and the development of IEE-related courses in College S through Questionnaire Survey (QS) and unveiled the efficacy of entrepreneurship environment and conditions, IEE courses, teaching methods, and policy system on the college applied innovative talents cultivation. Finally, the experiment discovered that three problems are prominent when training applied innovative talents in College S: unreasonable talent training process, imperfect education system, and emphasizing theory over practice. The main reason is that the IEE courses are not systematically set up, and teachers are in severely short supply. According to the research outcomes, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were proposed for applied innovative talents cultivation in College S. It is concluded that the cultivation of applied innovative talents under innovation and entrepreneurship should be reformed from four aspects: educational concept, educational model, educational policy, and social support, laying a foundation for improving the quality of IEE in Chinese colleges and universities and strengthening the cultivation of applied innovative talents.

RESUMO

This study combines the discovery methods and training of innovative talents, China's requirements for improving talent training capabilities, and analyses the relationship between the number of professional enrollments in colleges and universities and the demand for skills in specific places. The research learns the characteristics and training models of innovative talents, deep learning (DL), neural networks, and related concepts of the seasonal difference Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) Model. These concepts are used to propose seasonal autoregressive integrated moving average back propagation (SARIMA-BP). Firstly, the SARIMA-BP artificially sets the weight parameter values and analyzes the model's convergence speed, superiority, and versatility. Then, particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to pre-process the model and test its independence. The accuracy of the model is checked to ensure its proper performance. Secondly, the model analyzes and predicts the relationship between the number of professional enrollments of 10 colleges and universities in a specific place and the talent demand of local related enterprises. Moreover, the established model is optimized and tested by wavelet denoising. Independent testing is done to ensure the best possible performance of the model. Finally, the weight value will not significantly affect the model's versatility obtained by experiments. The prediction results of professional settings and corporate needs reveal that: there is a moderate correlation between professional locations and corporate needs; colleges and universities should train professional talents for local enterprises and eliminate the practical education concepts.

RESUMO

A time series model is designed based on the backpropagation neural network to further optimize the innovation and development of new ventures. The specific situation of two factors is primarily analyzed as follows: the supply and demand ratio of enterprise talents and the state of entrepreneurship in the development of new ventures. The results show that the potential demand of future enterprises for big data talents can be obtained by fitting prediction sequences. Based on the Backpropagation-Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average model, the post modeling and prediction are carried out, and the coefficient 0.6235 is obtained by substituting the equation of Pearson's correlation coefficient. The analysis results suggest that the matching needs to be strengthened between the cultivation of innovative talents in universities and the demand trend of big data-related positions in enterprises. Moreover, there is a mismatch between the cultivation of innovative talents and the demand for innovative talents. Meanwhile, the mental health level of young entrepreneurs is concerned. The mental health status of young entrepreneurs is compared with the national norm data through the questionnaire survey and statistical data analysis. The results reveal that the mental health level of young entrepreneurs is significantly lower than that of the national norm, and the proportion of anxiety and depression is 29.4% and 27.5%, respectively. Considering the professional characteristics and competitive environment of young entrepreneurs, busy work and the multiple missions given by society to entrepreneurs are the major reasons for their pressure, and mental health problems are serious.

RESUMO

Objective:To analyze the application for and funding for individual key clinical specialties under the Youth Program at the approved hospital groups, for suggestions on future development of hospitals. Methods:Based on the Youth Program data of the applications and approval as summarized by Beijing Hospitals Authority from year 2015 through 2018, 22 municipal hospitals were classified into three groups with more, less and none key clinical specialties respectively(the more group, the less group and the non group for short). The categories were made according to the number of state key clinical specialties approved by National Health Commission and key specialties approved by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. χ2 test was used to compare the baseline situation, the approval rate of project applications, and the categories of approved project among the three hospital groups. Results:During 2015—2018 period, the number of applicants for Youth Program was 1 128 persons/cases. The groups with more, less, and none key clinical specialties were 7, 10, 5 respectively. In the more specialties group, the applicants of seniority less than five years accounted for 40.93%, who had higher than those of the other two groups( χ2=13.794, P=0.032), and higher doctoral degree applicants(80.31%) as well. The difference was statistically significant( χ2=116.611, P<0.001). The approval rate of the Youth Program in 2015—2018 in the group with key clinical specialties vs. the group with none key clinical specialties was 36.09%(166/460) rersus. 29.04%(194/668) with significant difference( χ2=6.222, P=0.013). The approval rate of the departments with more key clinical specialties was 37.82%, higher than those of less and none key clinical specialties(approval rate at 31.82% and 21.50%, respectively), with significant difference( χ2=16.897, P<0.001). However, there was no significant difference between the approval rates of key specialties group and non-key specialties in each hospital group( P>0.05). Of the three groups, the proportion of clinical medical projects in each group was all higher than such other types as scientific research, medical technology, hospital administration and nursing. Conclusions:The applications and approval rate of key specialties under the Youth Program were higher than the rest, reflecting the discipline advantage. At the same time, it can play an important leading role in the construction of research-oriented hospitals. It is necessary to further strengthen the showcase role of specialties, for encouraging innovative talents cultivation of other specialties, in the hope for promoting the construction of research-oriented hospitals in their clinical, scientific research, medical technology, management and nursing comprehensively.
