RESUMO

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has greatly impacted health-care systems worldwide, leading to an unprecedented rise in demand for health-care resources. In anticipation of an acute strain on established medical facilities in Dallas, Texas, federal officials worked in conjunction with local medical personnel to convert a convention center into a Federal Medical Station capable of caring for patients affected by COVID-19. A 200,000 square foot event space was designated as a direct patient care area, with surrounding spaces repurposed to house ancillary services. Given the highly transmissible nature of the novel coronavirus, the donning and doffing of personal protective equipment (PPE) was of particular importance for personnel staffing the facility. Furthermore, nationwide shortages in the availability of PPE necessitated the reuse of certain protective materials. This article seeks to delineate the procedures implemented regarding PPE in the setting of a COVID-19 disaster response shelter, including workspace flow, donning and doffing procedures, PPE conservation, and exposure event protocols.

RESUMO

Objective To study a new method for fast unloading and positioning of medical shelter at night to accelerate the deployment speed of medical shelter system at night and improve the rapid reaction of medical support forces.Methods Laser marking device was used to indicate the three baseline for vehicle positioning based on three line positioning method,and then the position of the self-contained vehicle was determined.Reversing radar assisted in monitoring the vehicle position,and facilitated parking at a predetermined location.Results The problems such as low visibility were solved during the deployment at night,and the time consumed was decreased to 40 min for shelter positioning and unloading,so that the workload and artificial errors were both reduced greatly.Conclusion The method realizes medical shelter unloading efficiently with high practicability and flexibility.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the present situation,application and prospect of the medical shelter of the PLA.Methods The application,advantages and disadvantages of the medical shelter were introduced,and some suggestions were proposed for its futural development.Results It's suggested that standardization mechanism and maintenance system be established for modular medical shelter system and medical equipment.Conclusion Military medical service facilities have to execute medical shelter modular allocation to enhance the field hospital in rapid response and treatment.

S95-100field mobile medical system is a field mobile hospital composed of such function cells as medical shelters,tents,special vehicles and transportable containers.Several logistic functions of the cells are introduced including patients checking and sorting,surgery,pre-operation preparation,emergency,clinical laboratory,medical supply,X-ray diagnosis,sterilization,medical command and communication,patient holding ward,logistic technical support and connection.The whole system assignments by different modules clipping and transformations,the application tests and widen tryouts in the army are alsopresented.

RESUMO

Objective To study way of unloading and positioning of the new type medical shelter. Methods Through repeated testing and practical application, the ways of "3-lines" is used in the ground precession standardization. The first line is guard line of the left marginal of the shelter, the second is allocation line of the end part of the shelter and the third is front wheel alignment line of the whole unloading vehicles. Based on the lines, vehicles carrying shelters access to the ground in accordance with the order of three channel shelters ahead of five functional shelters. Results The real time of the shelter started is reduced to 35min, much lower than the time designed of 4h. Conclusion The application can be carried out precise positioning and improve the speed of the equipment spread.
