RESUMO

The widespread ozone (O3) pollution is extremely hazardous to human health and ecosystems. Catalytic decomposition into O2 is the most promising method to eliminate ambient O3, while the fast deactivation of catalysts under humid conditions remains the primary challenge for their application. Herein, we elaborately developed a splendidly active and stable Mn-based catalyst with double hydrophobic protection of active carbon (AC) and CeO2 (CeMn@AC), which possessed abundant interfacial oxygen vacancies and excellent desorption of peroxide intermediates (O22-). Under extremely humid (RH = 90%) conditions and a high space velocity of 1200 L h-1 g-1, the optimized CeMn@AC achieved nearly 100% O3 conversion (140 h) at 5 ppm, showing unprecedented catalytic activity and moisture resistance toward O3 decomposition. In situ DRIFTS and theory calculations confirmed that the exceptional moisture resistance of CeMn@AC was ascribed to the double protection effect of AC and CeO2, which cooperatively prevented the competitive adsorption of H2O molecules and their accumulation on the active sites of MnO2. AC provided a hydrophobic reaction environment, and CeO2 further alleviated moisture deterioration of the MnO2 particles exposed on the catalyst surface via the moisture-resistant oxygen vacancies of MnO2-CeO2 crystal boundaries. This work offers a simple and efficient strategy for designing moisture-resistant materials and facilitates the practical application of the O3 decomposition catalysts in various environments.

RESUMO

In order to address the issue of hole collapse, which frequently arises when boring piles are being constructed in intricate marine strata, this paper discusses the influence of the slurry ratio on the slurry performance as well as the mechanism of slurry wall protection. It performs this by means of theoretical analysis, laboratory ratio testing, engineering analogies, numerical simulation, and field testing. Our findings demonstrate that adding sodium polyacrylate and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose can enhance mud's viscosity, contribute to flocculation, and improve the connection between mud and soil layers. Refering similar engineering cases, three optimization schemes are proposed for achieving a mud ratio that offers wall protection in complex marine strata. Furthermore, the particle flow model of slurry viscous fluid is established. The collapse of holes in the sand layer is reflected in the uneven radial displacement of hole walls and the invasion of mud particles. Increasing the viscosity of mud gradually transforms the uneven radial deformation of pore walls in the sand layer into a uniform radial deformation, whereas increasing the proportion of mud significantly decreases the radial displacement of hole walls. Additionally, when the mud pressure in the hole is 300 kPa and 600 kPa, the wall protection effect is better, and there is no particle penetration by substances such as sand. It is found that a high mud pressure can promote the diffusion of mud particles into the sand layer, while low mud pressure cannot balance the pressure on deep soil. The results of the field tests show that the ratio of water-clay-bentonite-CMC-Na-sodium carbonate = 700:110:90:1.5:0.5 used (where the mass percentage of each material is 77.8% water, 12.2% clay, 10% bentonite, 0.16% CMC-Na, and 0.05% sodium carbonate) can effectively prevent hole collapse and reduce the thickness of the sand layer at the bottom of the hole by 50%.

RESUMO

This study delves into the protective mechanisms of Icariin (ICA) against cisplatin-induced damage in Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cells. Comprising two distinct phases, the investigation initially employed a single-factor randomized design to ascertain the minimal cisplatin concentration eliciting MDCK cell damage, spanning concentrations from 0 to 16 mmol/L. Concurrently, various concentrations of ICA (ranging from 5 to 50 mmol/L) were combined with 1 mmol/L cisplatin to determine the most efficacious treatment concentration. Subsequent investigations utilized four treatment groups: control, 1 mmol/L cisplatin, 1 mmol/L cisplatin + 20 mmol/L ICA, and 1 mmol/L cisplatin + 25 mmol/L ICA, aimed at elucidating ICA's protective mechanisms. Findings from the initial phase underscored a significant reduction in MDCK cell viability with 1 mmol/L cisplatin in comparison to the control (P < 0.01). Notably, the inclusion of 20 and 25 mmol/L ICA substantively ameliorated MDCK cell viability under 1 mmol/L cisplatin (P < 0.01). Moreover, cisplatin administration induced an elevation in inflammatory factors, malondialdehyde (MDA), reactive oxygen species (ROS), and Bax protein levels, while concurrently suppressing superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and Bcl-2 expression (P < 0.01). Conversely, supplementation of 20 and 25 mmol/L ICA demonstrated a marked increase in mitochondrial membrane potential and levels of SOD, CAT, and Bcl-2 (P < 0.01). These interventions effectively attenuated inflammatory responses and suppressed Bax protein expression (P < 0.05), consequently mitigating cisplatin-induced apoptosis in MDCK cells (P < 0.01). In summary, these findings elucidate the role of ICA in impeding apoptosis in cisplatin-induced MDCK cells by regulating inflammatory responses, oxidative stress, and autophagic protein expression.

RESUMO

Radiotherapy plays a pivotal role in the control and eradication of tumors, but it can also induce radiation injury to surrounding normal tissues while targeting tumor cells. In recent years, FLASH-Radiotherapy (FLASH-RT) has emerged as a cutting-edge research focus in the field of radiation therapy. By delivering high radiation doses to the treatment target in an ultra-short time, FLASH-RT produces the FLASH effect, which reduces the toxicity to normal tissues while achieving comparable tumor control efficacy to conventional radiotherapy. This review provides a brief overview of the development history of FLASH-RT and its impact on tumor control. Additionally, it focuses on introducing the protective effects and molecular mechanisms of this technology on various normal tissues, as well as exploring its synergistic effects when combined with other tumor therapies. Importantly, this review discusses the challenges faced in translating FLASH-RT into clinical practice and outlines its promising future applications.

RESUMO

Octenyl succinic anhydride-modified chitosan (OSA-CS) was synthesized and applied as a coating material to enhance the stability of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)-loaded nanoemulsion. Due to the presence of the positively charged OSA-CS coating, the nanoemulsion exhibited a high positive zeta potential and two different layers. Compared with natural CS-coated nanoemulsion, OSA-CS-coated nanoemulsion showed improved storage stability (physical and chemical stability) and stability against environmental stresses (ionic strengths, temperatures and pH). Besides, OSA-CS-coated nanoemulsion protected encapsulated DHA from simulated gastric fluid damage better than that of natural CS-coated nanoemulsion, suggesting that OSA-CS-coated nanoemulsion had the potential to deliver more DHA into the small intestine. In conclusion, based on the comparison of two coating materials, natural chitosan and OSA-CS, it was found that the encapsulated nutrient was better protected by the OSA-CS coating. Such a finding will provide insights to broaden the application of modified chitosan in food delivery systems.

RESUMO

Newcastle disease (ND) and infectious bursal disease (IBD) pose significant threats to the chicken industry, causing substantial economic losses. Currently, immunization through vaccination is the most effective strategy to prevent ND and IBD but currently used traditional vaccines, including inactivated or attenuated vaccines, face challenges in achieving a balance between immunogenicity and safety. To develop a green and efficient novel vaccine for ND and IBD, we developed a bivalent chimeric virus-like particle vaccine (ND-IBD cVLPs) displaying the ND virus (NDV) HN protein and the IBD virus (IBDV) VP2 protein based on the ND VLPs carrier platform and insect baculovirus expression system. This study aimed to evaluate the immunogenicity and protective efficacy of ND-IBD cVLPs in specific pathogen-free chickens. Chickens were immunized with 50 µg of purified ND-IBD cVLPs at 7 days old, boosted at 21 days old, and challenged at 42 days old. The results demonstrated that ND-IBD cVLPs stimulated highly effective hemagglutination inhibition antibody levels against NDV HN protein and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay antibody levels against the IBDV VP2 protein. Furthermore, ND-IBD cVLPs provided complete protection against virulent NDV and IBDV challenges and mitigated pathological damage to the lung caused by NDV infection and the bursa of Fabricius caused by IBDV infection. These findings suggest that ND-IBD cVLPs hold promise as a safe and efficient novel vaccine candidate for the effective prevention of ND and IBD, extending the development of a foreign protein delivery platform of ND VLPs.

RESUMO

A new emerging disease called "translucent post-larvae disease" (TPD) in Penaeus vannamei, caused by a novel type of highly lethal Vibro parahaemolyticus (VpTPD), has become an urgent threat to the shrimp farming industry in China. In order to develop an effective disinfectant for the prevention and control of the VpTPD, the clinical protective effects of polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride (PHMB) against VpTPD in Penaeus vannamei were investigated by carrying out an acute toxicity test of PHMB on post-larvae of P. vannamei and its effect of treatment test on VpTPD infection. The results showed that the median lethal concentration of disinfectant (LC50) values of PHMB to post-larvae of P. vannamei after treatment for 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, 96 h were 16.13 mg/L (14.18-18.57), 10.77 mg/L (9.93-11.72), 9.68 mg/L (8.53-11.64), 9.14 mg/L (7.70-10.99), respectively. In addition, a clinical trial showed that 1 mg/L PHMB showed a strong protective effect on the post-larvae of shrimp challenged with 101-104 CFU/ml of VpTPD. The relative percentage survival (RPS) of 1 mg/L PHMB on post-larvae of P. vannamei challenged with VpTPD at 101, 102, 103 and 104 CFU/ml were 63.65 %±6.81, 62.96 %±5.56, 60.00 %±3.75 and 66.67 %±3.75 at 96 hours post infection. The results highlight the clinical protective effects of the PHMB and therefor PHMB can be used as a preventive measure to control early TPD infection in shrimp culture. This study also provides valuable information for the prevention of other bacterial diseases in shrimp culture.

RESUMO

Gas protection is a crucial part of quality control in laser welding, especially for titanium alloy, which oxidizes easily at high temperatures. Substantial experiments concerning shielding gas characteristics in the welding process have been implemented. However, the common analysis conducted is simplistic and lacks a theoretical basis. This paper presented an investigation of the shielding gas behaviors based on numerical simulation and a titanium alloy laser welding experiment. The numerical model was established and validated by experiment. Subsequently, the temperature field and gas flow fields were calculated. By combining the two fields, the threshold temperature of gas protection was determined, and the influence of shielding gas parameters on the protection effect was examined. The results revealed that the protection of the high-temperature zone was primarily influenced by the nozzle height, nozzle inner diameter, and nozzle angle, while the plasma suppression effect was mainly correlated with the nozzle inner diameter and gas flow rate. These initial findings provide scientific guidance for the better quality production of laser beam welded components made of not only titanium alloy but also other metallic materials.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to investigate vaccine effectiveness in relieving symptoms in patients with the SARS-CoV-2 delta (B.1.617.2) variant. METHODS: In this retrospective study, 31 patients did not receive any vaccine (non-vaccination, NV), 21 patients received 1-dose of inactivated vaccine (one-dose vaccination, OV), and 60 patients received at least 2-dose inactivated vaccine (two-dose vaccination, TV). The baseline data, clinical outcomes and vaccination information were collected and analyzed. RESULTS: Patients in the OV group were younger than those in the other two groups (p = 0.001), but there was no significant difference in any of the other baseline data among the three groups. The TV group showed higher IgG antibody levels and cycle threshold values of SARS-CoV-2 than the NV and OV groups (p < 0.01), and time to peak viral load was shorter in the TV group (3.5 ± 2.3 d) than in the NV (4.8 ± 2.8 d) and OV groups (4.8 ± 2.9 d, p = 0.03). The patients in the TV group (18%) showed a higher recovery rate without drug therapy (p < 0.001). Viral clearance time and hospital stay were significantly shorter in the TV group than in the NV and OV groups (p < 0.01), and there were no significant differences in these parameters between the OV and NV groups, but IgG values were higher in the OV group (p = 0.025). No severe complications occurred in this study. CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that 2-dose vaccination can reduce viral load and accelerate viral clearance in patients with the delta variant and enhance the protection afforded by IgG antibodies in vivo.Key MessagesIn this study, our results shows that two-dose vaccination can reduce viral loads and accelerate viral clearance, and two-dose vaccination enhance the protection of IgG antibodies in vivo; however, one-dose vaccination did not confer protective effectiveness.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the associations between single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene and tuberculosis (TB) infection risk. METHODS: 597 newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) patients from the Han population in Western China were randomly selected while 901 healthy subjects were divided into control group from September 2015 to September 2018. In the case-control study, 21 SNPs within the VDR gene were genotyped. Use SPSS 19.0 statistical software, SNP statistical software (Plink) and Pub-med network database to analyze the correlation between VDR SNP and PTB susceptibility. RESULTS: The 14 SNPs of VDR gene screened in the experiment were consistent with the frequency of PTB-related and minor alleles> 5% in HapMap Asian population. Three SNPs (rs58379944, rs11574012, rs12581281) were correlated with PTB by x2 analysis. The rs58379944, rs11574012 alleles "G" and rs12581281 alleles "A" in genotype analysis were susceptible to tuberculosis. In the genotype analysis, allele "G" of rs58379944 and rs11574012 and allele "A" of rs12581281 provided protection against PTB infection. CONCLUSION: rs58379944, rs12581281 and rs11574012 allelic variants in VDR gene were found to be closely associated with PTB infection in the Han population in Western China. The protection it achieved may be one of the reasons for reducing the infection rate.

RESUMO

The differences of the active ingredients in Dendrobium huoshanense of different growth years and their protective effects on acute liver injury were studied to provide evidence for optimizing harvest time. The contents of polysaccharides, total flavonoids and total alkaloids in D. huoshanense of different growth years were determined by UV spectrophotometry, and the contents of gigantol in D. huoshanense were determined by HPLC. C57 BL/6 mice were randomly divided into blank control group(saline), modeling group(saline), high-dose(7.5 g·kg~(-1)) and low-dose(1.25 g·kg~(-1)) groups of D. huoshanense of different growth years. Each group was intragastrically administered every day for 2 weeks. 500 mg·kg~(-1) paracetamol was injected intraperitoneally 2 h after last treatment except the control group. After 12 hours, the serum and liver tissues were collected to detect the activities of ALT and AST, and the levels of SOD and MDA. The hepatic histopathological examination was performed. The results showed that the chemical constituents of D. huo-shanense of different growth years were significantly different(P<0.05). The contents of polysaccharide and gigantol of D. huoshanense of 2 growth years were the highest. The contents of flavonoids and alkaloids of D. huoshanense of 3 growth years were the hig-hest, followed by the D. huoshanense of 2 growth years, and the lowest were that of 1 growth year. Compared with the modeling group, D. huoshanense of different growth years could decrease the activities of ALT and AST in serum. Meanwhile, the levels of MDA reduced significantly, while those of SOD increased markedly. Histopathological results suggested that all D. huoshanense samples were effective in the reduction of the necrosis of hepatocytes in different degrees. The results of the multi-component SPSS paired tests showed that polysaccharide and gigantol probably played a leading role in the liver protection effects, while D. huoshanense of 2 growth years showed the best efficacy. The optimal harvesting time of D. huoshanense is 2 growth years.

RESUMO

AIMS: Immunocompromised mice are extensively used in the screening of vaccines and drugs for Cryptosporidium, but this study model does not reflect the real status of infection in immunocompetent animals. This study aimed to provide an optimized animal model for future studies of Cryptosporidium vaccine. METHODS AND RESULTS: Three mouse strains (ICR, BALB/c and KM) with or without immunosuppression were compared after challenge with Cryptosporidium tyzzeri (C tyzzeri). The results indicated that ICR mice shed a greater number of faecal oocysts (20 346 ± 203 oocysts/g) compared with BALB/c (2077 ± 142 oocysts/g) and KM mice (3207 ± 431 oocysts/g) after experimental infection with C tyzzeri (P < .001). However, ICR mouse model is uniquely effective for C tyzzeri, not for other Cryptosporidium spp. such as C parvum. ICR mice were then used to determine the immunoreactions and immunoprotection of P23-DNA vaccine (pVAX1-P23) to C tyzzeri experimental infection. The results showed that a significant increase in anti-P23 antibody levels was induced by the pVAX1-P23 vaccine. Compared to pVAX1, TB and blank control mice, pVAX1-P23 immunized mice produced specific spleen cell proliferation as well as enhanced IL-5, IL-12p70 and IFN-γ production in sera. After challenge with 5 × 106 C tyzzeri oocysts, the oocyst shedding of the pVAX1-P23 immunized group was reduced by 69.94% comparing to the infection control. CONCLUSION: These results provide an optimized animal model for the study of prophylactic vaccines and this model might be applied to other candidates against Cryptosporidium, not only for pVAX1-P23.

RESUMO

Serine protease inhibitors (serpins) are involved in inflammation, coagulation, fibrinolysis, tumor suppression, molecular chaperone, chromatin densification, and hormone transport. However, their anti-intoxication activity has not been determined. Here, we heterologously expressed the serpin gene from Lentinula edodes in Escherichia coli and purified the recombinant serpin protein from L. edodes (rLeSPI). Then, we administered alcohol and active protein or Haiwangjinzun as a positive control to mice via gavage to evaluate the anti-intoxication activities of rLeSPI in vivo. We also investigated the protective effects of rLeSPI on acute alcohol-induced liver injury in mice by physiological and biochemical assays. The assay results for the anti-intoxication activity revealed that pretreating mice with 5 mg/kg rLeSPI for 0.5 h before gavage with Erguotou liquor (56%V EtOH, 0.15 ml/10 g) significantly prolonged the tolerance time and shortened the intoxication time relative to the results of the control group, thereby proving its anti-intoxication activities. The biochemical analysis showed that rLeSPI improved glutathione peroxidase activity, which was evidently reduced by ethanol. Additionally, rLeSPI significantly improved the activity of aldehyde dehydrogenase, which is important in alcohol metabolism, and reduced the intracellular malondialdehyde content, aspartate amino transferase, and alanine amino transferase activity. We concluded that LeSPI displayed anti-intoxication activity and exerted protective effects against acute alcohol-induced liver injury, providing new insight into the prevention of alcoholism and alcohol-related diseases.Key Points• Anti-intoxication activity of a recombinant serpin protein rLeSPI was assessed.• LeSPI displayed anti-intoxication activity in mice.• LeSPI exerted protective effects against acute alcohol-induced liver injury in mice.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To in vestigate the effects of dexmedetomidine (Dex)on SIRT 1/Akt/GSK3β/β-catenin signaling pathway in cerebral injury of sepsis model rats ,and explore the mechanism of its protecitve effect on cerebral injury. METHODS : A total of 80 male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group (Sham group ),sepsis group (CLP group ),CLP+Dex group(10 μg/kg Dex),CLP+Dex+Sirtinol group (10 μg/kg Dex+2 μL/100 g SIRT 1 inhibitor sirtinol ),with 20 mice in each group. Two hours before modeling ,CLP+Dex+Sirtinol group was injected with sirtinol via lateral ventricle. Sepsis model was induced by cecal ligation and perforation in each group (in sham group ,only operation was performed but no ligation was performed). At 0,3,6 h after modeling ,CLP+Dex group and CLP+Dex+Sirtinol group were given Dex (10 μg/kg) intraperitoneally,Sham group and CLP group were given constant volume of normal saline intraperitoneally. Cerebral tissue water content,Evans blue (EB)content, apoptosis in cerebral cortex ,the levels of IL- 1β and TNF-α in cerebral tissue as well as the protein expression of SIRT 1,p-Akt,p-GSK3β and β-catenin in hippocampus were detected 24 h after last medication. RESULTS : Compared with Sham group ,cerebral tissue water content ,EB content ,the number of apoptotic cells in cerebral cortex as well as the levels of IL- 1β and TNF-α in cerebral tissue were increased significantly(P<0.05),while the protein expression of SIRT 1, p-Akt,p-GSK3β and β-catenin in hippocampus were decreased significantly (P<0.05). Compared with CLP group ,cerebral tissue water content ,EB content ,the number of apoptotic cells in cerebral cortex as well as the levels of IL- 1β and TNF-α in cerebral tissue were decreased significantly in CLP+Dex group (P<0.05),while the protein expression of SIRT 1,p-Akt,p-GSK3β and β-catenin in hippocampus were increased significantly (P<0.05). Sirtinol could significantly reverse the above-mentioned cerebral protection and factor regulation effects of Dex (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS :Dex can protect the cerebral tissue of sepsis model rats, which may play an anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic role by activating SIRT 1/Akt/GSK3β/β-catenin signaling pathway ,so as to reduce cerebral edema ,protect blood-brain barrier and reduce cerebral injury.

It is very important to construct a reasonable and efficient basin management system to meet the ecological water demand in arid areas with natural vegetation, and to maintain the integrity and stability of fragile ecosystems. However, how to assess the effect of basin management on ecological protection in arid areas as well as how to achieve the optimal control and efficient use of ecological water are major issues for many researchers and river basin managers. To address these two questions, we investigated the comprehensive management system for the Tarim River basin in China as a typical case study. The results showed that the natural vegetation coverage degree, the ecological water supply, temperature vegetation dryness index (TVDI), and the tree-ring chronology of Populus euphratica increased, whereas the disturbance of water resources by human activities decreased. Therefore, the effects of ecological protection were obvious after comprehensive "large basin" management. Based on an innovative application of tree-ring chronology to estimate the water leakage from the river, we determined the minimum runoff level (43.1 × 108 m3) when the natural vegetation needs to overflow. To further improve the effect of comprehensive management, the optimal regulation mode (i.e. maintaining the groundwater depth at 2-6 m, and the frequency and duration of overflowing at 2-3 times per year for a duration of 15-20 days during July to September) for the ecological sluices was formulated from the perspective of the efficient utilization of ecological water. These results provide a scientific reference for constructing reasonable management systems for similar river basins in arid areas.

RESUMO

Since October 2010, severe porcine epidemic diarrhea (PED) outbreaks caused by highly virulent PED virus (PEDV) strains have occurred continuously in the Chinese pig population and caused considerable economic losses. Although PEDV vaccines based on classical PEDV strains have been widely used in China in recent years, the morbidity and mortality in piglets remain high. Therefore, virulent genotype GII PEDV strains that are prevalent in the field should be isolated and used to develop next-generation vaccines. In the present study, a Chinese virulent genotype GIIb PEDV strain, CH/HNPJ/2017, was serially propagated in Vero cells for up to 90 passages. The S genes contained typical insertions and deletions that were also found in other recently isolated highly virulent PEDV strains from China and other countries and had two neighboring unique insertion mutations, which resulted in four amino acid changes in the S1 region of passages P10 and P60. Pig infection studies revealed that the CH/HNPJ/2017 strain was highly virulent in piglets, and the median pig diarrhea dose (PDD50) was 7.68 log10PDD50/3 mL. Furthermore, the cell-adapted CH/HNPJ/2017 strain elicited potent serum IgG and neutralizing antibody responses in immunized pigs when it was used as an inactivated vaccine candidate. In addition, the pigs that received the experimental inactivated vaccines were partially protected (3/5) against subsequent viral challenge. In brief, these data indicate that the CH/HNPJ/2017 strain is a promising candidate for developing a safe and effective PEDV vaccine in the future.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: To determine the therapeutic effect and protective mechanism of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) on newborn rats with hypoxia ischemic brain damage (HIBD). METHODS: Umbilical cord (3-4 cm) was collected from a healthy male infant for preparation of hUC-MSCs using explants technique. The hUC-MSCs were cultured and labeled with BrdU. The differentiation function of MSCs was identified. Healthy SPF grade neonatal SD rats were randomly divided into sham (n =30), HIBD (n =36) and hUC-MSCs treated HIBD (n =32) groups. BrdU-labeled hUC-MSCs were injected into the right ventricle of the rats in the hUC-MSCs treatment group 24 h after successful induction of HIBD. The growth and development of the rats were recorded. The neurological behavior of the rats were evaluated with Longa score method 3 weeks after hUC-MSCs transplantation. The survival, migration, differentiation and pro-differentiation of the transplanted hUC-MSCs were measured using immunological fluorescence method. RESULTS: Rats in the hUC-MSCs treatment group had significant higher weight gain and lower Longa scores (at the second and the third week post transplantation) than those in the HIBD group (P<0.05). BrdU positive cells were found in brain tissues 3 weeks after transplantation, and they were mainly distributed in the damaged hippocampus and cerebral cortex. Three weeks after transplantation, the total signal strength of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) or neuron-specific enclase (NSE) gradually increased. CONCLUSION: Transplanted hUC-MSCs can migrate brain damages through differentiating into neuron-like cells and promoting endogenous neurological differentiations.

RESUMO

Objective To study the protective effect of nursing intervention and magnesium oxalate on liver function after hepatectomy. Methods 64 cases of liver resection patients in our hospital were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 32 patients in each group. In the control group, patients were given 150mg magnesium magnesium sulfate for 7 days after the operation. On this basis treatment of the control group, the experimental group was carried out targeted nursing intervention, payed attention to the patient's psychological state, patiently explain to the patients, did well preoperative preparation, and closely observed the correlation of liver function. Clinical indicators of the two groups of patients were compared and analyzed. Results 7 days after operation, the level of ALT in the experimental group was (50.20±23.21) U/L, and the level of AST was (25.40±9.03) U/L. The level of ALT in the control group was (95.43±43.90) U/L, and the level of AST was (38.33 ± 9.19) U/L, there were statistical significance in two groups (P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions in two groups, and there was no statistical significance (P<0.05). The level of serum ALT in the experimental group decreased to normal range, and the number of patients was significantly higher than that of the control group with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of Magnesium Oxalate and nursing intervention on liver function after hepatectomy is ideal. It can significantly improve the liver function of patients with high safety and clinical significance.
