RESUMO

To investigate the clinical course and management of congenital vaginal atresia. This retro-spective analysis included patients with congenital vaginal atresia treated from March 2004 to August 2014 at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University. Thirty-nine patients were included in this study. Their average age was 16.87±2.2 years when they came to our hospital. Totally, 51% of the patients had isolated congenital vaginal atresia with a normal cervix, whereas the others had either cervical atresia or imperforate hymen. The primary presenting signs and symptoms included primary amenorrhea (71.8%), periodic abdominalgia (41.0%), abdominal pain (36.0%), dyspareunia (10.3%), menstrual disorders (5.1%), and pelvic mass (5.1%). Ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were effective inspection methods for the screening of urogenital tract-associated anomalies. Vagi-noplasty mainly included simple vagina reconstruction with insertion of a mold (n=22) and split-thickness skin grafting (n=4). In 64% of surgical patients, normal menstrual bleeding was achieved. Four of the patients subsequently became pregnant and delivered at term. Primary amenorrhea, periodic abdominalgia and abdominal pain are the main reasons for the post pubertal patients to visit doctors. Surgical methods can successfully provide these patients an opportunity for subsequent conservative management, can result in normal menstrual bleeding, resolve cyclic pelvic pain, and provide some po-tential for fertility.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To explore the rehabilitation effect of SHI's Bian stone comprehensive therapy on the patient after induced abortion. METHODS: Thirty cases of induced abortion were treated with SHI's Bian stone comprehensive therapy in peri-operative period. Before the operation, scraping therapy was given at the parts of The Urinary Bladder Channel and The Governor Vessel on the back and 30 min after the operation, the patient took a rest in a horizontal position on a mild heat Bian stone blanket and hot compress with a Bian stone plate was given at the lower abdomen. They received thrice return visits respectively on 1, 2, 3 weeks after the operation and SHI's Bian stone comprehensive therapy, including warm massage on The Governor Vessel, scraping the channel, patting Baliao (BL 31, BL 32, BL 33, BL 34), penetration needling Sanyinjiao (SP 6), oblique needling Qihai (CV 6), Guanyuan (CV 4), Zhongji (CV 3), Zigong (EX-CA 1), and the Bian stone plate was placed on the needle hand for warm compress. Colporrhagia, menstrual return, soreness of waist and other symptoms after the operation were observed. RESULTS: After SHI's Bian stone comprehensive therapy, in the patient of induced abortion the colporrhagia volume was less within 3 days after the operation and the colporrhagia stopped more early; of the 30 cases, only 2 has soreness of waist, abdominal pain, fearing cool and other symptoms, and only one case had obviously delayed mestrual cycle. CONCLUSION: SHI's Bian stone comprehensive therapy used in peri-operative period of induced abortion has a good promoting action on post operative rehabilitation.

RESUMO

EEG, REG, psychoemotional tests have been performed in 26 females of reproductive age suffering from neuroendocrine syndrome with dysmenorrhea. The findings were indicative of defects in cerebral function and circulation. This confirms contribution of the central nervous system to the onset of their disease. The treatment with contrast baths resulted in recovery of mechanisms of cerebral regulation as seen from attenuation of clinical symptoms, positive changes in psychoemotional status, EEG and REG.

RESUMO

Hormonal effects on the functional status and working capacity were found in girls with juvenile dysfunctional uterine hemorrhage who had been exposed to ionizing radiation in early childhood, in those with primary hyperthyroidism and healthy athletic girls in different phases of a menstrual cycle. Whether the hormonal status might be corrected by interval hypoxic training was examined. There was a relationship of respiratory functional changes to the phases of a menstrual cycle in healthy girls. Impaired external respiratory function, blood flow, and blood respiratory function, lower oxygen consumption were found in girls who had been victims of the Chernobyl accident and respiratory functional changes were detected in patients with hypothyroidism. It was ascertained that interval hypoxic training was an effective alternative to mountain training, that it promoted higher aerobic and anaerobic productivity and special working capacity in athletes. An interval hypoxic training course was found to substantially improve oxygen regimens in girls with secondary anemia, to elevate hemoglobin levels to normal values, to recover normal ovarian function. It also enhanced the production of thyroid hormones, normalized oxygen consumption, improved the patients' condition, increased physical and mental performance in patients with hypothyroidism.

RESUMO

Transcerebral exposure to 27.12 MHz electric field was used in 100 females of reproductive age with menstrual dysfunction because of neuroendocrine syndrome. The treatment proved highly effective in menstrual disorders of central genesis this making it a treatment of choice in combined therapy of the above patients.
