RESUMO
Estudo quantitativo do tipi exploratório, com objetivo identificar as vias de acessos intravenosos periféricos utilizados de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal e os motivos que levam a troca da punção. Foi realizado em um hospital privado de São Paulo, com 32 recém-nascidos. As vias de acesso mais utilizadas foram 38% em MSE e 23% em MID. O motivo da troca do acesso venoso foi, em 47% dos RNs, infiltração. Quanto à duração do acesso venoso, verificamos que em 39% dos RNs, o acesso permaneceu de 25 a 48 horas.
ABSTRACT
Quantitative study of the exploratory descriptive type, with objective to identify the was of used peripheral intrevenous accesses in the Unit of Intensive Newborn Therapy and the reasons that lead the exchange of puncture. It was carried through wit h 32 newborn children in a private hopsital, of the city of São Paulo. The most used ways of access was 38% in MSE and 23% in MID. The reason for the exchange of venous access was 47% of NBs infiltration. As for the duration of venous access, we found that in 39% of NBs, the venous access remained from 25 to 48 hours.
