RESUMO
Objetivo:
verificar o estilo de vida e fatores que dificultam o controle da hipertensão.Método:
estudo descritivo, exploratório e de natureza quantitativa, realizado com 68 hipertensos de uma Unidade de Saúde de Porteirinha. Utilizou-se como instrumento de coleta de dados um formulário. Os dados foram coletados de setembro a outubro de 2012. O projeto deste estudo foi analisado pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa da sFaculdades Integradas Pitágoras e aprovado com o número 130.055.Resultados:
60,29% eram do sexo feminino, a idade variou de 29 a 91 anos e 52,94% eram analfabetos, 76,47% não adicionam sal aos alimentos,73,53% não fumam, 57,35% não consomem bebidas alcoólicas, 61,76% não pratica atividade física, 45,59% não realizam atividade de lazer e 47,06% relataram ter dificuldade em manter uma dieta saudável, 45,59% faz apenas tratamento medicamentoso. Entre os fatores que dificultam a adesão ao tratamento destacaram realizar atividade física (52,94%); fazer dieta adequada (47,06%); controle do peso corpóreo (29,41%) e abando do fumo e ansiedade/estresse (22,06%).Conclusão:
os profissionais de saúde precisam intensificar os programas de educação em saúde com inovação nas intervenções com vistas a melhorar a qualidade de vida e reduzir as dificuldades dos hipertensos no controle da doença.ABSTRACT
Objectives:
check the lifestyle and hindering factors for the control of hypertension.Methods:
It is adescriptive, exploratory and quantitative study with 68 hypertensive of a Health Strategy Porteirinha Family. It was used as data collection instrument a form. Data were collected from September to October 2012. The design of this study was analyzed by the Ethics and Research Committee of the Colleges Integrated Pythagorasand approved with the number 130.055.Results:
60.29% were females, age ranged from 29 to 91 years,52.94% were illiterate, 76.47% do not add salt to food, 73.53% do not smoke, 57.35% do not drink alcohol ,61.76% did not practice physical activity, 45.59% did not do leisure activity and 47.06% reported havingdifficulty maintaining a healthy diet, 45.59% do only drug treatment. Among the factors that hinderadherence to treatment they highlighted perform physical activity (52.94%); do proper diet (47.06%); controlof the body weight (29.41%) and smoking cessation, anxiety and stress (22.06%).Conclusions:
the health professionals need to intensify health education programs with innovation in interventions aimed at improving the quality of life and reduce the difficulties of hypertensive in controlling the disease.
